DO NOT USE!!!! You may compare to pods and see they are cheaper up front however they are far from reliable and will cost you more in the long run. We booked them for two pods. First pod they did not come as scheduled to pick up. Second pod the day before delivery they say they will not be delivering the pod until 4 days after it was scheduled. Anyone trying to move right now knows you have to book weeks out for movers that we now have lost. Go with Pods they were on time and professional.

The easiest move Ive ever had! Everyone at 1-800-Pack-Rat was friendly and professional! The container was very clean and placed exactly where we needed it. It arrived on time and was moved expeditiously! Great communication, a wonderful experience all the way around. No one likes to move, but 1-800-Pack-Rat made it so much easier!Great organization!!

The environment in the office is always high energy and upbeat (you can almost forget it’s 2020 haha). The work is reliable, and it’s one of the few companies that isn’t in danger of going under at the end of this pandemic. We’ve got plenty of customers and we’re only getting more. If you’re looking for job security at a company that rewards hard work and treats its employees like human beings, this is it!

I had a container delivered in August 2020. It came on the scheduled date and time with no issues. I had it until December 2020, after having to reschedule the pick-up date multiple times because I was not ready for it to be moved. When the date finally came for it to be moved, the driver came and asked where I would like it dropped on at my new home. I explained the layout of the driveway and where I would like it. It was dropped off right where I wanted it and was picked back up the next week on the scheduled day. My overall experience went great and I would recommend 1-800-Pack-Rat for anyone needing time to pack and move boxes or in my case needing temporary storage and moving services.

Amazing workers and worth every penny! Going with PACKRAT made our lives 100x easier and we’ll definitely go with them again next time we move.

Hands-down the best moving company I’ve ever used. I’ve moved three times in the last 2 years, so I know a thing or two about the process. It’s always stressful, it’s always chaotic, and getting everything where it needs to be is always a hassle. But – and I’m trying not to sound like an infomercial here – none of that was the case this time. I used PACKRAT’s services and it was the easiest move of my life. They took care of everything. It didn’t cost me an arm and a leg, and all of my stuff arrived on time and in the exact same condition I’d left it in. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

On arrival end they couldnt deliver again and again (3x cancellations). Our stuff arrived to our city one day past the final date and then sat there for days. I took multiple days off of work waiting to unload. We had day of confirmations (10:30am) after calling them to get update and then an hour later cancellation after repeated calls to them for information. We had to hire a separate moving company to come get our stuff from the Pack Rat facility and container nearly a week after we were promised and it was in the same city as us for five days but could not be delivered to our home. Thanks to Cardinal Movers for getting our stuff to our home (pictured unloading container).

I called to have it picked up and they let it sit here and still charged me. The driver, Tony, said it was because they were so busy. He called at 730 am on a Saturday to come but never did. They keep charging me and wont pick it up. The driver actually laughed at me when i was complaining then said good luck with it. This is obviously a scam to take more money from people. The customer service was no help at all. They acted like it was business as usual. I may contact a lawyer. Its that bad. CUSTOMER BEWARE

Never trust 1-800-PACK-RAT they are unreliable. Poor customer service. 🤬🤬🤬I placed an order and it was confirmed for a container to be delivered sometime on 06/20/2020.I called around 3:00 on 06/20/2020 and I was told my container would be delivered.06/21/2020 (no container) Now I am told the facility was closed? Someone lied!

Quick, friendly, efficient, and thorough.

Easy to get a container delivered...impossible to get one picked back up when you are finished with it. They force you to keep an empty container for weeks just to be able to bill you longer. I would never use this company again. Their customer service is a joke. I was promised a call back many times and had to keep calling in to the call center and sit on hold for a long period of time.

Do not use these guys if you have strict dates! I was selling my home and had to move closing date twice because their truck broke down and they couldnt come get the full container from my driveway. This place is a joke. I had to go round and round with them on why they only had one truck to service a large metropolitan city. They couldnt give me an answer on it. When you have to call and schedule pick up/drop off dates you are waiting on hold for 15+ mins, at least, before they answer. I would avoid this place like the plague!

Most ridiculous company I’ve ever dealt with. There manager even hung up on me. They refuse to pick up there containers until there re-rented to someone new so they don’t have to store them. I had one sit in my driveway empty for a month.
