Tony is a wonderful family and marriage counselor. I believe God used him to help me move to the next place spiritually, develop as a Christian mother daughter and friend. I’m free of the issues I had when I saw him. They creep up now and then but I have tools to deal with them. He’s not a critic of theology but a follower of Gods word. He believes in the power of prayer and a relationship with God. If you are looking for Christian counseling this is the place to go. If you’re not a Christian or don’t believe Gods word is inspired you may hear truth spoken that you don’t like. He’s not going to change Gods word. He’s corrected me, and I needed it, most often he uses his natural gift to make his point. I’ve shared my life story and he saw the beautiful testimony within it. He convinced me I just need to believe it myself. He is easy to talk to but not a “yes” man, he’s a person of character, an expert in his field and has many years of experience in various aspects of counseling. He has earned great respect from my husband who attend all my sessions.
Freedom Counseling is a wonderful group of Christian counselors who base their insights on Biblical teachings and values. I worked with Rachel and although she was much younger than me, she had valuable wisdom to share, and I appreciated that she prayed with me. I highly recommend her and have heard nothing but good things about Tony Gore and the rest of the group.
Tony Gore and freedom are two words I would never put together. He is an advocate of LGBT “reparative thearpy” and does not keep information shared confidential. After nearly 4 years of counseling with him in my teen years it has taken nearly a decade to gain freedom. A master of guilt, Tony will try to use big words and attempt to define legitimate and illegitimate wants and needs. Things from counseling appointments were shared that should never have been shared outside of the confidentiality from client to therapist. And I nearly committed suicide as a direct result of things Tony said and the conclusions he drew. If you are having a hard time and need help, PLEASE do not see Tony Gore. You are better off going about anywhere else.
