Great people and great place. As many times as I have been here or called in to reserve a tool. I have never had a problem. A big thumbs up!
I don’t rent ANYWHERE else!!These guys are always ready with my equipment. They even helped me with my hitch and made sure I had the right set up before I left. The guys at the desk are awesome and knowledgeable about their equipment!Crittenden Dr. location has been great to me.Keep up the great work guys!
Best equipment rental in Louisville Ky. Great people skills, professional, and knowledgeable. Mr. Victor was a GREAT HELP.
We have used Arts Rental Equipment twice now and they are very professional and nice. I always recommend them to my neighbors and will continue to use them for any future needs!
Great place, and nice people working there !!
I’ve been renting from many different rental companies for many years. The guy at the front desk was great. I’ve never rented a auger in pieces. Guy loads it, I say I need that together. He says I don’t do that, walks away. New guy, Cole was his name, walks up an goes out of his way to help me. Thanks Cole
This place is hands down the best rental company around. Luke at the counter was very helpful with every step of the rental process. These guys not only beat out all of there competitors on pricing, but there customer service skills are unheard of in todays world. Luke made the insurance process for me a breeze by printing out a sample form and answering any questions i may have had. Very knowledgeable staff, any questions Luke couldnt answer, Rachel was there to back him up with no hesitations. Thanks for all you do Arts!!
Fantastic service and knowledgeable staff. Quick with a joke and easy going without the laziness. Awesome people!!
I dont leave reviews often, but Arts deserves a good review. I rented a skid steer to do some work around my house and I ended up saving a lot by using Arts instead of hiring the job out. Every employee I encountered was kind and helpful. Great experience and affordable rental rates. The equipment was all in good working condition.
I have rented from arts for years but I must reconsider suppliers after I rented floor sanding equipment on 12-5-2018 and returned it the next day after it would not retain the paper on the drum, the catches are worn out on this piece of antique equipment. the manager ( Rachel) refused to issue a refund and had not returned my phone call as promised. Email to the corporate office has gone unanswered as well. their attitude regarding this incident is unacceptable. they charged for a full rental as well as 9 sheets of paper that the thing ate. I rented good equipment to finish the job from another yard that has current model equipment. Also they over charged for dust masks ..10 x the cost. (refund was issued for the masks). I feel that arts DOES NOT CARE if i received value for my rental dollar. I wasted 10 hours with this junk and about $100, the worst is i no longer trust arts to provide good working equipment.12-20-18 still no contact from arts.....
Arts is the best! Went for an obscure tool and they had exactly what I needed. Rachel was super helpful and very knowledgeable. Strongly recommend.
My wife and I rented a 20-inch chainsaw from Arts. The Crittenden Dr. location didnt have the one we needed, so a helpful employee named Darrel input our information into their system and directed us to the English Station Rd. location, where they did have it. I wasnt just surprised, I was shocked at how bright, clean and well organized both locations were. If you need to rent a piece of equipment, these are the guys to see. My wife and I had a very positive experience dealing with these great folks.
I called like a noob with a ton of questions and the guy helped me without talking down and explained the best options for me. He was patient and very helpful. Thanks.
I was in town for a short time to visit my grandparents & help them after the flooding that happened in Louisville. I have some experience with equipment but not a lot . I called the store and Rachel answered the phone and was very patient with me in figuring out what equipment I would need. Once I was at the store everything was set & easy. I was greeted walking in, she explained everything to me, although I ended up not needing the equipment that day it was still a very pleasant experience and know that the next time I need to rent equipment this will be the first place I go. It’s nice to find a company with employee’s who are polite, professional, and don’t beat around the bush when it comes to customer service. Would rate 10 stars if I could!
I like the workers there. Management are a punch of thieves. They over charged my credit card many times. When I called them, they said it was a mistake and Put money back on my card. I don’t deal with them no more. I don’t encourage you to deal with them. But if you do, make sure there are no hidden charges or overcharges. 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
Good people to work with!!!!
I have been using Arts for a long time they are the best in terms of price compared to other places like them. It is more affordable to rent long term on the items I rented. Their equipment is up to date and in good condition.
I rented a skeeter from this location and sales representative did not do a good job in explaining charges prior before renting the equipment nor the duration of the rent. I called in once I realize from my online banking that I was being charged twice for the same amount as my original agreement. My initial purchase was for rental, additional equipment and deposit. I wanted to clarify why I was being charged double for a couple more days which was $1,000.00 but on two separate charges. The representative reply was it’s our weekly rate; with no other explanation about the rental details financially. I assume the cost per week was $500 dollars. However, after a week I was charged $876, with an additional $1,277.30. To make matters worst I called to figure out what happen. I was politely told that someone will get back to me. No call next day, so I called and I was given an excuse to say it hasn’t been addressed yet. I also expressed that my account is overdrawn due this situation and the sooner the better. No call the third day, I called back to get the same answer. Afterwards I decided to go up there to speak with someone in person. Upon entering employees where at the desk talking & laughing. I was greeted by a rep and I mention to them who I was and why I am here. My information had been placed on the table already figured out but no one took the time to just give me a call. You would think as nice and patient as I had been someone would show some sense of urgency and follow up. In the end I had been charged a total of $3,700.00 dollars for 2 & half weeks; however, Art’s did assist with almost a $1,000 dollars back to my account but the damaged they caused with overdraft fees didn’t help at all. No one called to give me an heads up on when they plan to remove money from my account. They helped themselves to when they felt the need to withdraw without any notification on when they would run my card. For employees to be lounging around prior before I showed up is a example of how this company does not respect other businesses money. The excuses given are pathetic; and I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone.
Very helpful.
Ive rented here numerous times. Prices are lower than other places but theres a good chance that something doesnt work well. Equipment isnt very well maintained. I once rented a tractor that had bad brakes here and almost died when the tractor rolled down hill.
Its a great place to rent from
Rented a bobcat with a grapple attachment. The hoses to the grapple were held on with a bungee cord. The bungee cord snapped and the track ran over the hose. I’ve had them come fix equipment before without being charged. I waited three hours for them to get there. They charged me $150 for the service call and over charged me for parts they didn’t need to fix what was wrong with it. Rental was only $375 and they charged me $1,075. I rented the equipment for a day and only got to use it for six hours.
I will be recommending these guys to everyone. They helped me figure out what I needed to get the job done, and made sure that I felt comfortable with the equipment too. Don, Ron, and the rest of the crew went above and beyond. Thanks, yall!
Arts has always come through for Bio-Foam Insulation. From GenSets to paint sprayers. Good equipment, and good people. Thanks, Brad
I must say in the hustle and bustle of everyday construction it is refreshing to be able to get good customer service from a company like arts, with experienced employees such as Rachel, Darrel and Jonah as well as a first rate back of the house engineering crew. It makes it possible to get my jobs done and still get home in time to see the kiddos, thank you arts Rachael, Jonah and all you guys!!!!
Horrible staff. I would fire the guy that works the phones immediately. Refers to customers as buddy, and partner but actually uses these terms in a condescending way. Teach your people customer service please. Realize that they are often going to be dealing with business owners.
Rented an auger and it would not start. Had to bring it back from the job in Indiana but they did refund my money.
Nice place, well organized, girl at gaurd gate very friendly and helpful, good truck stop just down the street.
Had absolutely zero art supplies for rent.. though I did rent a cherry picker so I could practice painting my x gf... She lives on the 4th floor and the last big storm took down the tree I would climb up.
Came into Art’s to rent a skid steer, talked to Jonah he was very professional and informed me that I had to have a 3/4 ton truck in order to haul their equipment. He did offer to deliver the unit but I didn’t have it in my budget. After borrowing a diesel Silverado from a family member I returned, Jonah helped me get set up to be able to tow as I didn’t have a hitch on the truck. All and all renting from Art’s was a pleasureable experiance and everyone was more than willing to help out with any questions I had along the way.
I needed a tool. I called ahead, they had it ready to go, and even helped me load it in the car. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I heartily recommend this place. I am coming back this weekend.
I would not recommend this rental company. I rented an excavator and cement mixer on two separate occasions. First time they had me a trailer with surge brakes and the employee said it had no brakes at all. They were suppose to replace to a trailer with electric brakes. Hours later they tell me the trailer brakes are not working. It was to late in the day to rent and the manager Rachel would not deliver the equipment to my house after an employee tried to get a delivery set up. I decided to give them another chance. A week later I re rented same equipment. While being loaded I said the hydraulic lines had cuts in outer jacket. They didnt seem to care. Acted like they didnt hear me. I noticed that the mixer had dried concrete in it. I get home start drilling post holes and the bad hydraulic line blew all over my house. I called Rachel and she said she would have there mechanic come out and fix it. She asked if the employees knew the line was bad. I told her no because they acted like they never heard me. She told me the mechanic was near and hrs later he arrived telling me he wasnt around my location and had to come from another location. After fixing the hose and doing pressure checks with myself he wanted to ask the manager if he could replace the other damaged hose. He said they like to charge the customer and not fix them. I then had to wait for him to change out the other hose and redo system checks. I called the office and asked if I can keep the equipment untill the next afternoon. The employee said it shouldnt be a problem, same as what the mechanic said. They would let me no before they left office. No one ever called. The next day I fill the excavator up with fuel and wash it off, and return equipment. Rachel says there was a piece of rebar wrapped around auger and I would have to pay to remove. I was ok with that because sometimes that happens. I asked her about the hydraulic line and she says its being investigated and I would only have to pay for hose not fittings, if determined my fault. She kept my bill open and said she would call me before taking money out of my account. The next day I had almost 500 dollars removed and 500 pending. I called and Rachel said it was determined my fault. So she lists off everything Im charged for. The mechanics mileage and gas, hourly wage, both hoses and fittings with quick connects, 2 qts of hydraulic fluid. Then says workers hourly charge to remove concrete from mixer. I told her it was already damaged and the mixer already had cement in it. She said before I take anymore money out Ill call you. She said I can always reimburse you. The next day the other 500 dollars was removed from my account and still no follow up from Rachel. She used my pictures of the hose to incriminate me saying I did the damage. She also said they take before and after picture of returned equipment, which was a lie. I was also charged with keeping the equipment longer the next day. Rachel acted like it was over a thousand dollars in damage. She was doing me a favor and cutting bill in half. Rachel said I had only 2.5 hrs of run time. Over 16 hrs at my house and most of that running for the mechanic doing pressure checks. This place is a joke. Even if you still rent from Arts take pictures with timestamps. Even if they say something record your conversation. Also have some extra money in your bank account, you will need it after they charge you with extra bs fees.

Great place for rental
I was taken back at the quality of rental equipment they offered and half the price of Home Depot. Will NEVER use Home Depot again. I have referred them several times already!
