This place was nice, organized, and very clean. We had taken our small tablet and charger cord to be replaced. Actually it was just the cord that needed to be replaced because the metal piece had broken. At the time they didnt have the cord that we needed but the gentleman was kind enough to direct us to Best Buy where they would likely have the cord we needed. This gentleman was very helpful. He was dressed nicely, his hair and beard were neatly groomed and he was personable.

I received a quote over the phone. I opened the repair but upon pick up the priced was more than quoted! I expressed my concern with the gentleman who checked me out but he didnt seem to care. Just said that they may have found extra parts were needed. But it turns out no extra parts were needed and they just charged more than what was quoted. Of course they wouldnt honor what was quoted to me.

Honest business! We had both assumed that my iPad charging port was shot. They replaced it and it didn’t solve the issue. They let me know that it was much more complicated so I went to pick it up and they didn’t charge me for their time or pretend that it was working. I commend them.

Tremendous Service and fair pricing for my used equipment

I took my late 2012 iMac desktop to TechRestore for what we thought was to be a simple software update. Turns out my hard drive was going bad and needed to be replaced. Travis the store manager was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process. They ended up replacing the hard drive and updating software and my older computer now runs like new. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone customer service is fantastic.

Took iPad with broken glass to be repaired. The person at the counter was both friendly and courteous. The repair was completed the same afternoon. It looks brand new. Great work and value.

Excellent laptop repair services! Had a fairly difficult repair job done on my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga 2nd gen Ultrabook (Mobo replacement) by Tanner who was super professional and explained the entire repair process in detail, giving me frequent updates on the repair status. Part shipped quickly (was told all their parts were from OEM, which was a huge relief as this part was hard to find from any other reliable vendor online other than OEM) and laptop was ready for pickup shortly after that. Mobo was cleanly installed (see picture) with all ribbon cables and thermal shielding tapes and CPU fan/heatsink back in place as the original factory state. Labor cost was also super reasonable relative to part cost and job difficulty (Ultrabook Mobo repair is one of the hardest repair jobs in such compact laptops that have tons of sensors and peripherals (screen digitizer, fingerprint sensor, battery, speaker, etc.) that connect with very small/fragiles cables and pin connectors that snap into the motherboard).Very much satisfied with the service and will definitely recommend TechRestore to family and friends!

Being a small business owner, my laptop is my #1 tool, so when mine started having some power issues I somewhat dreaded having to find a place for repairs. After seeing all the positive reviews that TechRestore has, I decided to reach out. I received a quick reply and was told to bring it on in. Being without my laptop was going to be hard, especially since I didnt know how long. I dropped it off Tuesday at 4pm and was told it shouldnt take more than a day or two. I received a call the next day at noon being informed that all issues had been resolved and that it was ready for pickup. I picked it back up on Wednesday at 4pm. I dont care what line of work you are in a 24-hour turnaround time is incredible. I dealt with PJ both days and he was extremely personable and I felt completely comfortable leaving my companies backbone in his hands. Had an iPhone 10 (X) screen burn out and I made the quick drive up to the Tech Restore. Handed the phone off and 30 minutes or so later got a call back from the tech (I apologize, I don’t remember his name) with his diagnosis. Some minor water damage with residual water in the device. Recommended it be dried out and tested before installation of new screen. The promptness and thorough explanation of my needs and options was great. Phone was repaired, with new battery in addition, early next day. Really recommend these guys as it was a phenomenal experience

TechRestore is the best! The tiny tip on my phone charger became stuck inside my iphone (long story involving a terrorist cat) to the point that I could no longer charge the phone. The people at Tech Restore have always been very helpful. Diagnosis is free. I took a Chromebook there last week because I wasn’t able to connect it to Internet, even though my other devices were online. They checked it first on their wireless and my device was fine. The person waiting on me told me to call my provider and ask them to run a check. Problem was eventually resolved with AT&T. There was no charge for the time that the Tech Restore person spent with me.

I went in thinking that I needed a new battery for an old iPhone because, I was told, it shuts down randomly when it’s at a low charge. I told the tech that’s what I wanted. After running a diagnostic I was told and shown that the battery was fine. Even though I could have paid for a new battery! The tech was honest, knowledgeable & the company’s prices were reasonable. I would definitely come back for future problems. Great job guys. Keep it up.

I checked my apple mini in at daybreak it was ready at noon. It was a screen replacement for $129. One of the better deals I have come across. They were very professional and quick. They also had a very efficient registering process. You put your information into a computer at the receptionist area and they get right to it.

This store was excellent with customer service and technical support. When others would not assist, this store came through and fixed iPhone 7 Plus for a great price and quick turn around. If youre an Apple user in the Louisville area, you NEED to know Jeff Jewell and his crew at TechRestore. My 2013 MacBook Pro was slower than you could imagine. It hindered my ability to work, study, or perform basic tasks. I couldnt open more than one application at the same time - otherwise Id be waiting for days for one or the other to load. Saw a colleague of mine post about TechRestore on Facebook and decided to check them out. They performed a free diagnostic, but before they did - Jeff was able to tell me what was the likely issue (a crashed or crashing hard drive).. They called me the very next morning, confirmed the issue, gave me two options and described both, and once I made my choice, they had it ready on the next business day, Monday. So, long story short.. took it to them Friday, Saturday they called and told me the issue, and Monday I had my computer back and it is a brand new machine. Its faster than when I first bought it, I dare say. Jeff was extremely kind and personable, also very knowledgeable. The price was fair.. the alternative was to pay for a lesser/temporary fix for a little less, or buy a new computer for 1k more.. Im so glad I went to TechRestore. I took in what I thought was a broken computer.They told me it was going to be 50 or 75 bucks (I cant remember) to diagnosis the problem. They called me the next day and said it was fine, they turned it on and it works, come get it. I figured they would at least charge me the diagnostic fee but they didnt. When I got home I figured out I was hitting the wrong button to turn it on. Im not very computer savvy and they did not take advantage of that.
