Great service & location..one of the top self service car washes in Louusville. I went to 3 car washes to tidy up after the rent snow all the car washes had a 30+ minute wait. Drove a few minutes to Mike’s and we be using Mike’s as my go to car wash. Also, great $2 eight minute vac

Very friendly staff the car wash for the outside of my car seem to do a really good job it was $9 for the basic wash it was the cheapest option it went pretty fast it didnt take a long time. I then wanted to vacuum out the inside of my car like I do when I get my outside washed I was a little disappointed that the vacuums were $2 for 8 minutes which is a lot of time I guess Im just used to going to car washes where if you get a car wash the vacuum is free but $2 is not bad for 8 minutes my issue was that the vacuums didnt work very well and they had an extension on it that let you get into cracks and crevices of the car but didnt do a wonderful job of picking stuff up on the rest of the car. So I was really happy with the experience with the actual car Wash but was a little disappointed with the vacuum system.

I had something horrible on the front of my car that spilled from some truck on the highway. Once I informed staff of my concern of the difficulty to get it off, Matt took extra time to ensure it came off. After I went through the wash he took another look to be sure the front of the car was better. I appreciate the team there and the extra care they give to their customers.

Came to this establishment to vacuum my car. 3/5 vacuum spots were blocked by cones. I waited patiently for one of the two cars to leave so I could park there. As soon as one of the cars left, the attendant came and put a cone in the spot as I was trying to pull in. She even looked me in the eye when she did it with no explanation as to why they were coned off. The establishment closes at 9:00pm and I arrived at 5:30pm, so it wasnt like I was there during closing. Disappointed I drove 15 min there and back to vacuum my car which I never was able to do. Wont be back.

Excellent high quality car wash for a low price! I take my 1996 Landcruiser here all the time and it cleans the exterior and underbody so well!I highly recommend. However, larger, taller vehicles may have trouble fitting inside and you may have to look elsewhere. That is my only compliant!

Love this place! I had the monthly membership when I was in Indy and was so glad to see them come to Louisville. Keeping my car clean is easy here and for the number of times I wash my car it’s really reasonably priced. I wish there were more locations in Louisville, or Lexington, but overall I’m satisfied! My car has been there many times and is usually about 98% clean after going through it. Never have had any issues and the people are great! The app is also easy.

Great place. I love this type of car wash. I cleaned out and vacuumed my car and then when I drove up they sprayed it down. That helps so much. I was really impressed that they had recycling not just trash cans. Definitely taking my car back again.

I keep trying to like Mike’s Car Wash but every time I use it I’m disappointed. I won’t be using it anymore. They run you through there as fast as possible, soap suds and water and streaks and salt still on the car afterwards. For $20 I expect better. I won’t be disappointed again because I won’t go back.

If you have a sharkfin antenna, you have to be careful; mine was broken in this carwash. I dont like that you have to pay for vacuum use at this location; vaucum use is free at the Bardstown road location.

I use this location exclusively. The wash cycle has multiple wash mats, and covers the vehicle with sudsing solution. Employees are over the top courteous. Vacuum stations are spacious & do a good job

Phenomenal car wash! Apparently the design of my side mirrors makes it hard for most washes to rinse them well but Mikes left no soap dripping. My wheels were horrible and came out cleaner than when I go though others. Thanks!(I think I need a monthly pass!)

Never washed my car in the years I’ve had it. Lots of soot on my roof (it’s a deisel car). Went to Mike’s and got the Basic $9 wash and the guy working informed me that if it didn’t all come off I could go back through again free of charge. Not everything came off the first go through so I went through again and the attendant even did an extra scrub on my roof to make sure it all came off. Was super impressed with the service at Mike’s and was greatly pleased with how the two people working made sure my car was in tip-top shape!

I went here for the first time last night (July 17th) around 8/9pm. The woman who put the soap on my car before the wash was rude & making unprofessional facial expressions to her Co-worker instead of speaking to me. I don’t know if she was making fun of my car or what the facial expressions were for. She only spoke to me when my windows were up. I liked the actual car wash but customer service is everything. I won’t be back.

I had a very bad experience at this carwash there air dryer system blew my light bar off the top of my hummer h2 as well the crome piece on my hood and it broke the brackets to my headlights and the plastic k front bumper attachments. Itt scratched my paint really bad and Im having to wait for my own insurance to repair all the damages. Thank God I carry full coverage insurance or I would just be screwed. Sorry mikes carwash but I will never be back.

LOVE Mikes car wash!! I paid someone $200 to clean my car the other day!! Looked like it just got out of Mikes Car wash!! No joke!! They did just as good as they do!! $20 wash goes a long way guys!!

The carwash was good however they charge 2$ to use the vaccum yourself for 8 mins. I feel like the competition has similar or better equipment and free vaccums.

Used Mike’s car wash for the first timeToday. Inexpensive vacuums, only $2 for 8 minutes. You can use a credit card as well which is convenient. Additionally they give you two vacuums, one on each side, so you don’t have to mess with feeding the dirty tubing through your car. Definitely a plus!

Check your car after basic wash. Has scratches you cant see at a first sight but when you look closer they are there. Also check your rims it will dent them. I cant imagine how many people drove away without seeing these problems than later wondering where it came from. Would not go back.

I was able to get a car wash and vacuum my entire car in less than 15 mins. The vacuum is pretty good and its only $2 for 8 mins which was more than enough time for me. The vacuum stations also take credit cards.

I wasn’t very impressed. I sprayed my wheels with cleaner and it was still on my wheels after leaving Mikes. It’s the same as a normal $5 car wash but for $35. After the Mile’s I went to a manual spray and wash to remove the soap from my wheels.

Truck was pretty clean but the vacuums suck! Seriously, my 18v Milwaukee does a better job. Also the vacuum is $2 after a $14 car wash.... Won’t be back. Also just realized I got tire shine when I specifically said I did not want it!

I’m gonna give this car wash place a 4 star because everything was great about the wash. The colors and scents. My daughter loves going through. And the employees are extremely polite, and are not hesitant to give you a re wash if something was noticeably missed. My only small issue is, is that it is slightly expensive in my opinion. $20 for the ultimate wash.. it seems like the entire wash is about maybe 3 minutes. If it were longer at $20, it would be better. But overall I like it and so does my 1 year old.

What a joke. Not only do you have to pay for expensive washes, you have to pay for the vacuums too. If I take my car somewhere and pay $16 for a subpar wash I expect the vacuums to be complementary. Dont waste your time, there are better car washes to go to.2 stars because the man who helped me was nice. At least they have good customer service.

Love this place. Take all of my vehicles there regularly but one. It doesnt fit. I wish it did too because the staff is great and the 20$ wash is worth every penny

Watch out, I pay 20.00 for a wash that left my wheels dirty and the side of my car still not clean, you have to pay 2.00 to vacuum your car after I done spent 20.00 and the employee outside said I’m sorry nothing I can do for you, I will pay 2.00 for vacuum but at lease 20.00 should get my car clean ... go to Thomas car wash on old Bardstown rd they do way better cleaning than this place. They started out good but not now it’s going down.

For the price, the vacuums should be free. FYI, there is a vacuum at the Marathon gas station next to the car wash. 5 minutes for $1.50.

Great service every week I go there

I liked how clean my car was when I exited. It wasnt streaky and all the dirt was removed. I had bird droppings on my car that was also gone surprisingly I would recommend using.

For the third time I have tried to get my car washed at this location. When I come, it is always on my lunch hour. And I guess it’s just my bad luck, but every time I get stuck right behind the car that the attendant is spending 15 minutes attempting to upsell their monthly plan to. I don’t have 30 minutes to get my car washed unless I’m doing it myself at home.

Phenomenonal! After the first time through the wash, I had some remaining stubborn bugs on the grill. When I went back through the second time, they were SUPER NICE! TOP NOTCH! They took extra attention to detail and were eager to please. I will definitely be back!!

I would LOVE to like this place more because the employees are so friendly, but every time I go, I’m disappointed in the wash results. I have gotten the regular $9 (or so) wash and the $16 wash and I have never noticed a difference in the results. On the $16 wash, my car doesn’t ever get wheel bright or the clear coat, even though the sign lights up to say I did at the end. If I truly did, it isn’t effective at all. The drying area is relatively ineffective and leaves streaking on my car. I know this place has a 100% guarantee on their washes where I could go back and ask for a re-do, but if I haven’t ever felt like I’ve gotten a good wash out of the times I’ve gone, why waste more water to get the same result? At this point, I prefer driving to Westport Rd to get wheel bright and a clear coat because the money is worth it. I would love to have a better experience here and I keep trying, but the actual wash is never what I expect. The employees are absolutely great though and that’s why they get more than a star.

It was below zero today and these guys were out washing cars. I neglected to wash the mud off my Jeep and had to get out with the family today and it was a mess for everybody. In a panic I found that Mike’s was actually open. I felt like a jerk pulling in with my mud covered Jeep (I know it’s rude) but they just smiled the whole time they were prewashing the mud clods off in -10 degree weather. Unreal service. I tried to offer a tip because I know I was a difficult customer but they wouldn’t accept; just kept smiling and thanked me for my patronage. This is definitely the place to go; you will not find better service.

Great wash employees were sort of rude

With a new, large building on Hurstbourne Pkwy and lot of signage and land use, I was expecting to get an outstanding car wash on this bright, sunny day. The wash itself was okay, but the drying tunnel was quite short and ineffective. It was the sort of experience where you need to turn on your windshield wipers after leaving because the windshield wont air dry after the tunnel dryer system ends. The body of the car was wet, and after it dried, the water turned to streaks. Mikes Car Wash did, in fact, wash the car, but once the car dried there were spots and streaks all over. A disappointing experience.

In my opinion and my experience I would never take my cars to this car wash again. I got stuck in the middle of the car wash and felt jerking of my vehicle.As you could imagine After exiting the washI pulled over to the side to check things out and noticed my front grill was pulled out and antenna bent. Upon further looking noticed scratches and a small dent on the side.I immediately pulled to the office area and notified the “ claim to be manager” on site.He appeared to be non caring and said let me get you a form?? Apparently I had to fill this form out so they could review what happen. No apologies nothing it felt more of a defensive response to me.Someone called me two days later and told me they reviewed cameras and did’n’t see anything. I told them this is not acceptable to me.They replied they would have the area supervisor contact me and later that day he did. He agreed to meet me and we meet the next day.He offered and did show me cameras but only the one going into the wash and in the car wash bay. The cameras were not clear and did not have a camera on exiting or in front of the office to show any damage before after.The area supervisor after stating he couldn’t see by the cameras that the wash did any damage the only thing he would offer is to fix the Antenna.I feel that this is not acceptable and told them how I felt. I want everyone to know about my experience and hope you never have this kind of experience.I will be taking my car to have repairs done and in my opinion wish I would have never taken my car to this car wash.I do take pride in my car and wasn’t expecting high cost repairs and the stress of the wasted time, feeling defensively and at the very least not even offered an apology .Hope you found this useful and please note this is the very first time I have ever posted a review but if it could help someone make the decision if they would risk the same chance. Hope you don’t have this happen to you.Needless to say I will be very careful about where I take my car to get it washed.I hope you found this post credible and with caring intentions of me just wanting to let everyone know how I felt about my experience.

I stopped by Mikes today to get the salt and road tar off of my pickup truck so I selected the $15.00 wash. (The truck was covered in salt.) Ryne was the attendance and he helped me remove a few items from the bed of the truck before entering the wash. Upon exiting the wash, he spotted some tar still stuck behind the tires so he insisted I run it thru again. This time they brought out hand held sprayers with stronger cleaners. The truck looked like new again! Thank you Ryne, for the extra effort! He and his assistant wanted to make sure I got what I paid for.

Just came from there & got the ultimate car wash & when I got home I inspected my car & saw that it totally bent up my Iraq War Vet license plate holder. Just got that license plate holder too.

Don’t like automatic car washes but I love mikes, only one I like going to and I’ve tried a lot of car washes. VERY friendly and fast service, good vacuums, would recommend.
