Owner / lead manager is friendly and seems like a great guy! Some of the other staff on the other hand are a little bit rude, but no big deal.I got my exterior of my vehicle cleaned quite well thru their automatic wash.If youve been there before and know your vehicle will fit (67 seems to be the limit, somewhere around that), dont be afraid to park your vehicle and go inside and look for Mike. Hell make sure whether or not you can go thru the wash!Thank you, will be back!

Pretty good detail for $40 and thats not bad. They spent time on the interior and didnt mind me pointing out some hard to see places. Remember to tip well !!Picked up some nice floor mats too.

Brought two cars today and got the $50 wash for both. They lost the floor mats on my mother in laws car (finally found them after the car had been done ten minutes and I asked for them). My rental car left with damage the large manager mans solution was to glue it. Enterprise documents damages when you pick the car up this was new damage he truly didn’t care. He could have glued it if that was the solution . I’m sure he would have put forth some effort / energy if a quarter pounder was on the line.

I have never written a review before but I have to share. my experience here! I was very disappointed in the service I received. I went last week to get the #3 car wash, for one it was way over priced for the quality I received. The car was barley vacuumed, I watched them barely while down the inside of my car and when it was done they left my door open with no one attending it and no one came and got me to tell me it was ready. Secondly THEY LEFT SCRATCHES ON MY CAR!!!!! When I went home and parked my car I noticed there were scratches on my hood. By this time they were already closed so I left a voicemail. A week passed by and no one had returned my call. So I showed up today just to see where they were with my situation and someone working there proceeded to tell me it was my fault that no one returned my calls and I shouldnt park my car next to people and there wouldnt be scratches. Mind you these scratches are on my hood! He did not try and do anything to help me get to the bottom of what happened, he just get proceeding to blame it on me! Mind you I just bought this car a couple of months ago and I take very good care of my car. I will never be going back there and I hope no one goes back there either. It was NOT a good experience.

This car wash is quick and efficient. The people here are professional and friendly. Fairly priced for the level of cleanliness. I would recommend this car wash and will use them again myself. I have a van and a lot of kids, so I was pleasantly surprised at how clean they were able to get my vehicle. They did a great job.

I was a bit disappointed realizing of--- some of my paint chips. But, overall I was very pleased with everything else; that was done--to enhance the appearance of the shine on the exterior of my car---AND especially the time and expertise he took to adapt my car music channels---that fit my choice of music!!! There is no quality control and needs new management. I just spent $40 to get my car washed and vacuumed, and once I reviewed it when I got home I immediately went to a self-serve car wash and vaccuumed and cleaned my interior since it was still filthy. Don’t waste your money like I did.

50 cent job not worth $25

They did a great job! I got the basic since it was my first time there. The line was a couple cars deep in both lanes, but they were working hard and moving quickly. It maybe took 20 minutes from start to finish. The car looks great and Im happy with their work. Ill be back for sure.

I paid for the 49.99 package and they did the same thing as the 23.00 package. The windows were half cleaned on the inside. The interior was not wiped down well. The vacuuming was so bad I asked if it had even been vacuumed. I asked for half of my money back and instead they took to to be vacuumed again and only vacuumed the back where the gass was still there. The rest of the car still looks bad! They Didnt lift the back roll to do anything. I didnt get any money back after 40 minutes of waiting and after waiting 15 more minutes I just left. Worse car washing services I have ever received! Will go the extra milage to Westport area and it is cheaper for a better job.

Have used this place for years and they do a great job. The last time I was in my truck was extra filthy with some mud on the exterior. They power washed it and ran it through but still had mud in places. I was watching from inside and was ready to ask them to redo it but did not have to they drove it back around and re-washed it without my asking. Great service!

The carwash was one of the worst that I have had unfortunately. This reason being that the inside of my car was left very dirty and unattended to. It was unacceptable and I expected these people to actually put time and effort to actually try to even clean. I ordered the “supreme wash” and it was the exact opposite. I do not recommend going to this small and inefficient car wash

It is a sad day but after coming here for my entire life (I can remember having to stand on the bench to see through the glass to watch my fathers car get washed!) they have finally priced me out. Was not paying attention when I got there today and got the #4 as it had been a while since it last got washed. I was floored when I was told it would be $50. They do a good job, no doubt but that is just too much for a car wash. Im going ro have to find a new place ☹ Thanks for your service and I hope you all do well.

Ive always gotten a great carwash here. Been coming here literally for years. The finish crew has always gone the extra mile to remove those little tar stains and road bugs smashed into the grill.

This generally is the only place I will take my vehicles to be cleaned. Price was never an issue because they did such an amazing job. However, the last 2 times I went to have my vehicle cleaned I have been unhappy. This last time was by far the worst; to the point I asked them to redo it. You could still see crumbs and dirt on the floor boards and in the seats and a vacuum was never ran underneath my seats. The interior of the vehicle was wiped down, but not cleaned. The console and cup holders still had dirt in them. The inside of the windshield was smeared so bad I had to pull over and wipe it down myself becauae the sun was reflecting off of it making it hard to see (after their second attempt). The outside of the car in the front and back underneath looked like it was never touched. One piece of advice...they need to change out their rags more often; its obvious they are using the same one for too long. I saw a lot of new faces and so I have to wonder where all the former employees went. The only reason they received 2 stars instead of 1 is because the gentleman who helped me when I was upset with the way it looked was very friendly and didnt hesitate when I asked them to redo it.

I never leave these.... but I paid for an internal wash (vaccum, wipe down of dash and etc., and inside windows) I got in my car, and there is some debris on my carpet. When I drove at night I couldnt see out of my windshield from the streaks all over it.. You can tell someone did the stuff, but didnt care to do a good job. 4 out of 10 wouldnt recommend.

I paid $85 plus a tip to have an express detailing done. I came back to pick up my car 2 hours later and nothing was done above and beyond a vacuum and an outside wash. The console was still a mess with coffee spills obvious but not cleaned. The crumbs I expected to be vacuumed or wiped out of the console hadnt been touched. The console in the back seat had not even been opened. It had crumbs and coffee spills obviously not cleaned on it. The seats werent even vacuumed or wiped out, as crumbs were still in the seams of the seats. The floor along the doors hadnt been cleaned. There was certainly a lot of oily something on the dash and the seats, but that was it. I will never go back to this place. What a rip off!

I have a toddler which means one thing for a car, smashed food bits collecting for months underneath the car seat. Today, on a rare occasion of having removed the car seat I decided to get the car washed here. Got the #3 package (mid-price). Exterior looked good when it came out of the wash but upon inspection after 5 individuals spent 5 or so minutes doing *something* to the interior, it was evident that they weren’t actually cleaning it as the smashed food bits were still there, ground into the leather. Called somebody over to look at it and they did wipe up the most obvious bits but still way less than satisfied. Lame.

My complaints are specific to COVID10 protection - A couple of the guys vacuuming cars had their masks under their noses (doesnt do any good) - While I was waiting a man walked in without wearing a mask and nothing was said to him (it is a law now, not an option) - there is no hand sanitizer to be seen - very poor experience and I wont be back to a place where chances of getting the virus are not taken seriously.

I had an offer of $3 off the regular price. Found that the regular price had increased $4!

I wanted to buy their best service, which was $10.00 more than the $26.00 lower service. The difference was they wipe your plastic dashboard and front door panels with Armoral. For another $10.00 they will wipe your rear door panels.If this is not bad enough for you thinkers, they want $15.00 per seat to wipe your fine leather seats with Lexal. Total customer trickery. I feel like a total jerk having to explain this to their management.The manager was nice and accommodated me. But the cashier claimed to be the manager and was a nasty lady that should not be dealing with the public.Stephen W. Bauer

I came in with a serious issue. A dog had a nasty accident in my back seat, and SB was the only place that didnt take advantage of my situation. They cleaned it so well, you cant even tell it was dirty in the first place. I also got a car wash, and that was also done very well. Very professional people! Thank you so much for everything!

There arent many car wash options in the area, so this place is usually pretty busy. The staff is nice, so I always tip them, but its just not a good car wash. I have asked to get a quick wax 3 or 4 times over the past few years and they are always too short on staffregardless of day and time. If theres more than a couple clouds in the sky they close for the day and dont reopen. If they have to dry a pick-up trucks back window, they lazily throw or wave a towel at it vice actually drying it. Maybe thats a safety policy or something I dont know.

Absolutely love this place. Car was perfect. Prices competitive. And opened on Sunday unlike the other one in St Matthews....Will definitely be back!!!

Hard to find a carwash these days that will have more than 1 person working to clean the INSIDE of your vehicle. Been coming here for years. They do a great job always!

I have been going to Sparkle Bright for years and have sampled all of the car washes in this end of town. They provide consistently good service, efficient and cost effective. Have never had a bad wash. Some of the employees have been there for years.

Spent $26. Was fairly mediocre. Upgraded on the extra vacuum and interior package and it was ok. Still had a ton of dog hair in my accord. The exterior wash was fine but the interior was weak. Won’t be coming back. Utter garbage.

This was by far the WORST car wash I have EVER paid for!!! I got package 3, $26.95, and when it came out even after being wiped down STILL had spots all over it! I got this package cause the last said my wheels, not tires, would be taken care of, just factory wheels, but still covered in brake dust and dirt and hadnt been touched. I asked for the back of my Truck not to be vacuumed due to work items so they didnt do the window either. I will NEVER use this place again and advise you to not waste your money!!!!!

Nice cleaning over priced & you pay for basic things that should be included in the price especially vacuuming of your car that should be paid for seperately.

Good wash

Didn’t even clean the car. None of my cars will ever go back. Mini Cooper s, which is small and easy to clean.Water spots on the car, dirty door jams and barely vacuumed. Had to go home and clean it again. And $23 is expensive!

Do not get your car “detailed” here.The car wash and any other external services were perfectly adequate, but the vacuuming/internal cleaning was beyond subpar.We got the $35 option which includes inside and outside cleaning. The outside was great, they wiped it clean pretty thouroughly. But the inside… the seats looked like they hadn’t been touched. There was still dirt on one seat, and the back seat was covered with dog fur. One of the staff told us that in order to get the dog fur up, it would require steam cleaning, which would cost an extra $10 per person.Probably about a dozen people worked on the car throughout the process. But I still feel like some parts only received a token effort.I will not be coming back here again.

I had my F-150 washed today, 3/13/14. I paid $23 and talk about a lousy job, had to ask them to wipe off my chrome wheels, he did reluctantly, did a half ass job. I asked him to wipe off my running boards, which he didnt do! Had to get my own towel out and wipe off my tailgate. There nothing worse than a dark colored vehicle that is half cleaned and smeared with what dirt is left on it!! It almost looks worse now than before!THEY WONT GET MY MONEY AGAIN!!!!!!!

I always order the same sparkle supreme, but results vary wildly. Inconsistent, but when it’s at is best, my truck get an excellent cleAning.

Better car wash in town

I usually go to the Westport Road location and they always do such a great job over there, I always end up tipping the guys at least five bucks. This location however, really does a crappy job. Other than the exterior of my car being a little cleaner, it doesnt look like anything was done to the inside. Obviously, Ill never be going back to this particular Sparkle Brite.

Need a wash? These guys are awesome. They also do detailing for a fairly reasonable price.

This is my first visit since Sparkle Brite bought St Matthews Car Wash. It will be my last. Prices have increased, packages do not have the bonus services-they are now ala cart. The outside wash was fine but the interiorbarely looked like it had a rag over it.

This review relates specifically to the location near the malls on Shelbyville. AWESOME work these guys do! I have been taking my car there for 6 years now, and have only on VERY rare occasions been somewhat disappointed in the work. And that disappointment was usually due to a) they were BUSY AS CRAP or b) they do such a phenomenal job the rest of the time, when the job is just good it seems like its worse than it is. Dont be fooled- I suspect those negative reviews are all from other locations. this one is TOP. SHELF. Keep up the GREAT work, guys!

Th absolute worst. Due to the language barrier I received the entirely wrong cleaning package forcing me to pay more! The vacuuming was deplorable and the wiping was garbage. I should have saved $20 and done it myself! I wouldn’t give them 1 star either.

Walked in for a tire patch. The staff wash courteous and prompt. I was out in 30 min on a busy morning.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS (MONEY). They have one price listed up front, but they charge you different price. HOW? They explanation was the price apply to small car only. Horrible service and they treat their customers with no respect. Someone should let Better Business Bureau of their business practices. The lady upfront spoke with me as if I was garbage to her. I treat everyone with respect no matter what race, color or nationality. AGAIN, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
