I took the kayak sunset tour at the end of May. My friend and I had a lot of fun learning about the flora and fauna in the Ohio river during the tour. It was education as much as it was fun. I even feel like I got a good arm workout for the day. I especially liked the Sunset at the end of the tour. I will definitely go again.

We went canoeing in the creek which was very fun and very easy! We spent about 3 and a half hours on the water, and about an hour at a restaurant by the water. Very fun! Got 2 kayaks and one tandem kayak for just over 100 dollars. Everyone was very nice and informative. Great activity for adults and older kids.

Went on a fun 2.5 hour paddle. The guides were knowledgeable and personable. They were very safety conscious and did a great job handling a group with a wide range of paddling skills. They are committed to cleaning their local waterways and just generally giving back to their community. All in all a fabulous part of a Louisville experience.

Highly recommended. Give them a call beforehand to figure out where theyre stationed for the day, as it determines which tour you can do and will also help them make sure they can fit you in based on the kayaks they have available. Very reasonable pricing.

3 of us rented kayaks from Troy and Chris on June 29, 2019. They were very friendly and personable and we had a great experince! Chris helped us in and out of the kayaks, and took it very well when we got him a bit muddy. Will rent from them again next time for sure!

Wanted to do something a little more outdoorsy but local for my bachelorette, and this was perfect! They were awesome and super communicative and even flexible when there was possibility for bad weather. Had options for locations and routes and even helped plan where to go for lunch on the water. Would definitely recommend!!

Rented a kayak to checkout my injured shoulders and ancient kayaking ability at McNeely Lake. Louisville Kayak Company delivered a fine kayak right on time and gave me good advise. I enjoyed 4 hours on the surprisingly quiet, pretty little lake and will use Louisville Kayak again.
