Looking for a remodeler? Look no further!!I contacted Louisville Handyman for a master bathroom remodel. It’s a 15!! On a 1-10 scale!!!Everything from start to finish was well cared for, cleaned, and put back in order. They were here for every install from an outside craftsman.They handled all of the issues. I was treated with great respect. The contract was well spelled out and in detail. There weren’t any surprises. If an issue was found, during the rebuild, it was addressed and discussed with me. I appreciate that.The craftsmen that worked on my bathroom were Chris, John and Brian! Abby was a great ceramic tile installer. Along with Brian at the command, the tile went quickly! And it is meticulous!!And there’s an App.for the company too! Easy to follow the process this way!They started and finished on time! Even in a Covid environment. We contacted Louisville Handyman and Remodeling with a request for a quote on a bathroom remodel, including an addition of a half bath, in a challenging older home with a limited amount of space for the rooms. Our experience from the very beginning was top notch. Denise was our salesperson and was incredibly helpful, clearly communicating all scheduling and financial expectations throughout the entire process. John was our contractor and he was knowledgeable, kind and obviously enjoys his job. There’s nothing worse than having someone with negative energy come into your home, especially when they are there for a lengthy project, but every single contractor who showed up on behalf of LHM was respectful and professional. They went out of their way to quickly troubleshoot any issues that came up and finished the project on time as expected. We are in love with both of our new bathrooms, and we will absolutely be working with LHM again.

Louisville Handyman was great to work with during our kitchen remodel project. We spent a lot of time in the planning stage and they never rushed us into moving faster than we were comfortable. We first had them install a steel beam so that the ceiling in the rooms would be seamless and lived with the wall out for a month or more. We used that month to make changes to the design. Every time we had a new idea, Kathy would discuss with us and modify the design (the window enlargement, moving the microwave, etc.). Once we had a design, we contracted with them for a full kitchen remodel. We cant say enough good things about the craftsmen assigned, but especially John, who didnt just come in and do the work, but thought through the kitchen design and made some great suggestions that really helped with the finished design project (kitchen cabinet layout and tile design, just to name a few). We had some challenges to work through with appliance and tile delays due to covid and they worked with us to timely complete the project. Any issues that came up, they dealt with promptly. We found several surprises inside our wall and soffit that required changes and they always had a way to workaround and fix. The subcontractors that were involved were excellent too- professional and competent. We ended up with a kitchen that we could not be happier with!

We have used Louisville Handyman and Remodeling for two projects now and been extremely satisfied. Everything happens when they say it is going to happen and for the budget originally quoted. The workers are professional and courteous at all times. We could not be more pleased, and I recommend without reservation for an project, large or small.

Cant say enough about my experience with Louisville handyman and Remodeling. The quality of the work and craftsmanship met or exceeded all of our expectations. Every employee that we dealt with from the estimate process to the actual remodeling of the bathroom was top notch. Very friendly and professional staff. They use an app that lets you see the progress of your project and everything that is scheduled out. Our project leader was Chris, and he was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable. In 2016 we bought a home that was built in 1970. Over the years previous owners had done very little to the home other than what was necessary to keep it livable. With the help and guidance of the professionals at Louisville Handyman led by their owner Joe French, we made changes and upgrades to our home that made economic sense and added value. These included turning a master bedroom into a true master suite with a gorgeous walk-in closet, upgrades to our kitchen, custom cabinets in our living room plus many more minor fixes and repairs that make living in our home a pleasure that we enjoy every day. As we continue to make improvements we rely on them for help and guidance. No job is to small for them. Louisville Handyman helps make being a homeowner a great experience. We are happy that we discovered them.

LHM did excellent work and we are completely satisfied. They listened to what we wanted in our request and delivered.

We have worked with Lou Handyman for the duration of 2020 beginning with some small repairs. We ended having re-doing our kitchen and finishing our basement with them. Craig is amazing with dry wall work and fixed huge holes where our dog tried to dig through the wall. Billy did an amazing job with the tile work. We chose to do herringbone in our kitchen. And lastly, Philip was our craftsman in our basement and was so patient with us. We have loved working with them and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a job well done, the right way!

This is a big shout out for Billy Rose, Lead Craftsman, on the LH team. Billy was the ultimate professional and has such an eye for detail. He caught several things that needed to be addressed and remedied the situation quickly. Even after delays, Billy kept my big remodel moving forward. My husband and I were amazed at how clean he left things each day and how he always seemed to go above and beyond for us. We are so thankful Billy was our Lead Craftsman.

Louisville Handyman and Remodeling is the best! Our repairs had to be spread across several days to allow for drying and curing in between drywall patch/coats. The repair person was right on time every day, worked quickly and did a fantastic job. The drywall is beautiful and seamless. And the handyman was pleasant! The price was also very fair. Highly recommend!

Louisville Handymann and Remodeling is a company that does Quality work at a reasonable price. They remodeled my bathroom by installing a whirlpool tub and separate shower in addition to new tile, drywall, fixtures, lighting, painting, etc. Kathy Hughes, the project manager, listened to my ideas in addition to adding her own suggestions which really helped move the planning along. All phases of the project are detailed and confirmed. Most of the actual labor was done by Billy Rose who was extremely capable, very neat and courteous. Most the time I didn’t even know he was here! He is a true craftsman and an asset to the company. This company can pretty much do anything requested as far as remodeling or repair. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family if they’re interested in a quality and professional outcome.

Had a new house with an unfinished garage and Louisville Handyman came in and finished the walls so they looked like the inside of home. Great quality work and a good price. They took time to do the job right.

August 17,2020We recently had a large renovation done on our home by Louisville Handyman and Construction. They did an outstanding job removing a wall between our kitchen and family room in both a professional and timely manner. John, who was the lead carpenter, and his coworkers, were on time each day, and set up a safe environment for us to be able to use our kitchen without interruption during construction. They also took measures to work safely during the Covid-19 pandemic.It was very convenient that they handled the plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting through their source contractors. Additionally, if changes needed to be made to the scope due to structural or plumbing issues, they met with us to discuss cost and to authorize the work. There were no surprises at the completion of the job.John did a wonderful job removing a planning desk from our kitchen and building a food pantry in its place. He matched the existing cabinetry perfectly, and used the electrical lighting from the desk to install in the pantry. The lights come on when the doors are opened, and its much easier to inventory food stock before going to the grocery.Sam did an excellent job renovating our staircase to the second floor. We love the wrought iron balusters and the painting and refinishing of our steps. The window seats in our dining and living room bay windows were also refinished, and they look outstanding.We plan to use Louisville Handyman and Construction for future projects. We had this company do some drywall repair and expand our closet storage under the stairs. Craig was our handyman! He was great and offered a couple of options for us on the expansion that actually saved us money and labor costs compared to the original quote. We had a leak in the ceiling where I had haphazardly patched drywall which he fixed and did a great texture match that looks just like the original and surrounding drywall. We will plan to use them in the future if we have any other projects!

Absolutely incredible work! Dont let the Handyman name mislead you. I had a significant kitchen remodel to do and a friend recommended I get a bid from them. So glad I did! The owner, Joe French, and those who work for him are wonderful! The craftsmanship, attention to detail, true professionalism from all, the designer/architect (Denise), the workers promptness, schedule proceeding as planned, etc. I couldnt be more happy! As we know, living through construction can be hard, but these gentlemen cleaned up behind themselves at the end of each day which made it so much more bearable. I couldnt be more pleased with my kitchen! In fact, I was so impressed with the magic they created in my kitchen, I once again contracted with Louisville Handyman to do an extensive overhaul on the 2 story addition of our home. It was added many years ago (not by us). There was significant damage to the walls from a long undetected leak. Not only did they once again do an incredible job, but the designer/architect (Denise) created a new look to the exterior making it appear as if it were built when the house was built, unbelievable!Heather T

I would hire Louisville Handyman again and again. They have helped me with projects at home and at my office. When they say they have craftsmen they really mean it. When you get them to do work, you can be sure that you will get a top notch job done, not just average. They can even help you design a project, like a remodel. I recommend them to all my friends.

The workman was pleasant and courteous, and did a good job. Ihad a long list of jobs for him fromhanging bathroom towel racks tohanging pictures on high walls, etc.And he was able to finish all in one day.

If you read my last revue ignore it turns out it was just a misunderstanding on my part since then the owner of the company called me we talked and resolved the issue and as I said before the person that did the work was friendly professional and quality work so yes I would recommend them

Needed some inspection repairs completed. They were very through and professional at every step of the process.

Our back porch renovation turned out great and exceeded my expectations. We went from a porch with window screen nailed to 2x4s to a three-season space that is beautiful.We spend as much time in this space as possible, eating meals out here, working out here, sitting and reading. Hardly a day goes by that we don’t comment on how much we enjoy our porch. It’s especially delightful when the late day light comes across the backyard and we get to watch the sunset colors.Louisville Handyman was great about working with me on selecting the windows, fans, lighting, and recommending the beadboard ceiling.My husband was a bit unsure about putting that much money into a back porch. He loves it every bit as much as I do and realizes it was totally worth it!

Reckless driver. I’d be carful how you market your company name on a vehicle where the driver puts others in danger on the road. That speaks volumes about your company and I will absolutely never use this company or recommend now.

I have used Louisville Handyman many times and they never disappoint. Always on time, neat, Professional, excellent workmanship

Very unprofessional and extremely expensive. They promise to fix the issue. But, you have to be extremely cautious before signing the agreement. They use terminology in the bidding process such a way that at the end of the job they provide another quotation which is extremely expensive. Their strategy is to lock you in the process since they work for less than two hours and charge you ~$1000. The next proposal they provide will be 3-4 times the initial proposal to complete the job. Their work quality is also questionable.Think twice before using these folks!

Estimator, seemed uninterested in doing anything at all. And more interested in telling me about his families personal problems. I wanted an attic door installed, possible bathroom remodel and duct work done. The guy that gave me a quote told me they can’t do the attic door because it was a couple of inches off whilst seeming very uninterested, but I didnt push the issue. As for the duct work, he simply passed the buck and reffered me to prudential heating and air. When I brought up the bathroom remodel, he bragged about all of the bathrooms they remodeled, yet seemed so uninterested in remodeling my bathroom that I didn’t even push that issue either. My house was built in 1910 so it is over 100 yrs old. Who knows....I get the feeling they like working on homes built after 1999 or newer. They are one of the more popular contractors, so I think they are choosy about there jobs. I would stay away from this company unless you want a know it all who knows nothing doing your estimate that looks like a greasy, shady adult gammer. Smh.

Its okay because i could not fix a basketball hoop but it was his first time
