Shoutout to Greg for the best beard lineup Ive ever received!

(Edit the deposit was NOT deducted) Paid deposit for appointment, did not honor appointment time. No forewarning. He offered to schedule 2 hours later, I declined.The barber also replied via Booksy saying I lied about the situation and a different barber offered to cut my hair. Also mentioned what was I supposed to do, push my client out the chair?The professional stylist wouldnt over book and would cancel in advance. I didnt need a discount and preferred not to waste the trip to the mallWe booked and ALSO CALLED TO VERIFY IN ADVANCE. It was same day confirmation, but we called and verified with him.Wanted to update this review after the barbers reply on the other site.

By far the most professional barber experience I have witnessed. Being able to make an appointment ahead of time and still take care of my daily activities means a lot. Dee and Greg are my top choice barbers who are not only very dependable but skilled at their craft.

As always, Dee did a superior job cutting mine and my wifes hair. I would recommend Mane Avenue to anyone. Go down and see Dee, you wont regret it!

Got my son cut her today, barbers were great and very professional. Best haircut hes ever had. Was greeted by every barber and stylist in there and the white guy in the back ended up being the one to take care of us.Looked like a tattoo artist, performed like a professional. May have to come back for his phone number. He was a hawt-tee.

I stood at the door for a while and nobody said anything to me. I finally just walked up to someone and he said someone will let me know if they had time for my services. While waiting outside, I heard smart remarks. Glad I didn’t spend any money there.

Dee Was awesome he did a piggyback perm on my hair it turned out exactly the way I wanted it And he was very gentle and quite concerned for my comfort the whole time. Highly recommend.

Don’t get your haircut here. Especially not by the dude with braids and glasses. He doesn’t care if he cuts your hair like you want him to or not because, “ It’s the mall more people will walk in needing a haircut.” I asked for a particular cut and he decided to cut it how he wanted. Then took a 5$ tip and I didn’t realize it until I was already gone. First time and last.

Was told to show as a walk-in And could be taken care of if I got there before 6 PM. Arrived before 6 PM and no one could help me. I do not recommend this place!

Called ahead of time to make sure they accepted walk-ins. They told us to come in. We got there and they said that there were two barbers in the back that could cut, so we waited. 10 min went by so one of the barbers went to the back to tell remind them that there were customers waiting. Apparently they told the barber that they were busy or just didnt want to cut. So the of the other barbers (female) told us that that she would cut us after she finished with her client in the chair. Another 10-15 mins went by the business (landline) phone rang. The female barber answered it. One of the other barbers started yelling at the female barber because she answered the phone. He told her that no one would be able to cut hair and so she shouldnt have answered. At this time they both excused themselves and went to the back. I sat there for another 10 mins only to hear them arguing in the back. LET US NOT FORGET that they both had clients in the chair at this time. When they came back out, the female barber that ASSURED us that she would be able to get us in for a cut said that there was an emergency in back and that she couldnt fit us in and asked us to come back tomorrow. Total waste of my time!!! The first red flag shouldve been to turn around once we entered because there was hair all over the floor, even in the sitting area. Ive never seen a barbershop run like this. They we soooooooo unprofessional and I will never go back!!

Was literally the first time I have had my hair done by a professional in about 9 years or so. Kenya was awesome and gave me an excellent haircut. I was able to walk in and only have a vague idea of what I wanted and she knocked it out of the park.

The lady in the shop doesn’t know how to cut hair she messed up my lining, over charged me and didn’t even use black ice. She was nice but I feel ripped off and if you go to this barber DO NOT GO TO WITH THE LADY she doesn’t know what she is doing.

Went there around 2pm today as a walk in and unfortunately waited an hour with no one assisting me after I stated to one gentleman that I was there for a walk in. As I sat there I watched 4 people there on walk ins get barbers before me. I also watched 3 barbers all free and watching another barber cut an individuals hair. Most of my reviews of businesses are positive and My friend time at this shop I had a good experience but my second experience was less than pleasant.

I honestly was loving this place at first. My stylist was nice. We did not discuss pricing at all before my color service but the sign said $60 and up. The first time my color was rinsed and my hair was dried it was not even whatsoever. She lifted it again and rinsed it out. My ends are darker than then the top so it is till uneven. I basically got a retouch and toner twice. Twice because the first time was not done well enough. I was willing to chalk it.up and go home and brighten my ends to match. She charged me $206. I have short thin hair. I feel ripped off. I have never been charged this much for my hair. I did not get an itemized receipt. I just dont understand how I paid for $206 worth of services and feel scammed. I will try to get a refund but if not Im disputing this charge.

Made appointment at 6:30 on Wednesday with Robert (cuban guy) came in 5 min before 6:30 sat down told him i was there he said ok. He had client In his chair probably half way done 7pm rolls around he gets done with the guy then the guy puts his little 2-3 yr old son to get hair cut doesn’t even say nothing to me like i am not even there. 7:11pm come around still nothing. I left the place that was not professional at all. Whats the point of making an appointment if u have to wait 1 hour to get haircut. At least he could of told me the situation instead of making me Sit there 40 min without saying anything. I would of been ok with it. That was a joke never going back again.

Based on my experience this is the best barbershop in Louisville, I find it hard to go somewhere else to cut my hair, there that good 🙂

Worst barbershop in the city, very unprofessional, waited 3 hours for a cut. No order what so ever, people cutting in front of the line, if you know the barber you get to cut the line. Waste of time and money. If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this place
