Ive been going to Travis for a couple years now, and he cuts my 2 year old boys hair as well. Hands down the best Barber I have been to yet!! Highly recommend

I highly recommend this place. They did a great job with our 4-year-old. My husband gets his hair cut here. It’s run by a dad and his son. Excellent service, fair price, and quick.

I took my son there today for the first time after reading all the great reviews. I wasn’t disappointed. Steve and Travis are the real deal. Professional with a lot of friendly down home customer service. I rarely EVER write a review. I highly recommend them.

My family and I just moved to Louisville and everything is so new to us. I was skeptical that we would find as great a barber as we had in Virginia but we did here at Generations Barber Shop! Travis was so kind and personable as he gave my son and I great haircuts. Travis and his father also gave great recommendations of places to visit and eat at here in Louisville. This is a barber shop with a hometown feel and great service. We will definitely be going back.

The employees did a very good job at doing my hair for a good price! Free gum (as always), and looked very clean. Id recommend to anyone whos trying to get a bush off their head.

Steve and his son Travis are the best. The only barber my kids actually like going to.Shop is ultra clean and they are great about making sure you don’t walk out with a bunch of tiny hairs all over your neck and shoulders.

This is a family owned, local business. The gentlemen that work here have a top notch shop, nice interior and provide excellent service. Classic barber shop vibe, I will definitely be going back - highly recommended.

Was a walk in this afternoon. Only one person in the chair so waited on the comfy leather couch in the back. Steve is very personable, but not too chatty, and extremely professional. So glad to have them in the neighborhood. See you next time!

Great work. Popped in for a quick cut. Great cut, although I noticed a few strays missed by the clippers but thats on me. Ill definitely be back in a month. Great prices as well. Love the classic but modern look. Well done gents.

Being in sales & always on the go, I rely on Generations for my professional appearance. The barbershop is VERY clean, spacious & TV waiting areas to accommodate others if they have to wait. I love that they have vacuums attached to the clippers so that I don’t have to worry about hair clippings all over my dress shirt. They make it so easy to schedule an appointment online, especially for families pressed for time. As always, they can also take me in as a walk-in Customer when I’m in the area during my busiest times. I can’t compliment the barbershop enough on their courteous & polite stylists. From a traditional buzz cut or fade, they can also do scissor-cuts just as you’d like them to do.Generations barbershop is easy to get in & get out of. They are my barbershop go to & I HIGHLY recommend you to give them a try. You will see the difference & it will make you want to go back again & again!

I got my 1st real haircut in 6 months, my wife had done it the last 3 times. No comment on that. I booked my appointment online for 10:00 and arrived a few minutes early. I was seated right away. Great Father/Son barber team. Great conversations and some humor like Barbershops used to be. Everybody was masked and my Barber, Steve, the Father of the group, gave me an excellent cut in about 20 minutes. That included the strait razor neck shave and hot towel. Pretty cool how he does the sideburns and ears slipping your mask loop off and back on like magic. Good price and it’s worth stopping in there just to see the floor. I highly recommend the place.

I’ve been looking for a great barber in the area since I moved here 2 years ago. Every shop I’ve found is overpriced and most aren’t even barbers... Not the case with Generation’s Barber shop! Steve and his son have a great shop, are actually barbers, and are so fairly priced! Excited I’ve found MY go to shop!
