Braden Insurance and Mr. Walter Braden got uniformly positive reviews, unlike most of the companies I viewed. With a telephone consultation and an in person appointment, I was able to secure Medicare supplement insurance for myself and my wife, and a drug plan to meet our needs, with outline of contingency plans as insurance options change. Mr. Braden is very knowledgeable and direct to the point, explaining rationale for the choice made, providing for my complex insurance needs (diabetes and other medical conditions), and my wife’s more straightforward insurance needs with economical plans tailored to our much different healthcare scenarios. Trying to figure out Medicare supplements and drug plans on my own do me in, so I reached out for help. A close friend recommended Walter Braden, an independent insurance broker. My experience with Walter was unique in that he was detailed and diligent in confirming that my particular drugs were the correct ones honored by the drug plan. He operates with his screen in front of him, and a big screen facing me so that I can follow his comparisons. His conclusions and plan suggestions were made clear to me and then he filled out all necessary forms. This morning I received confirmation from the providers that applications were received. After moving plans around year after year with frustration on my own, this experience was long overdo.His office is off Taylorsville rd in a shopping center easy to find. Under COVID, masks are worn, his offices are clean and have a spacious feel. Walter is an honest, casual, relatable man who makes the experience delightful. I will add that it helped to have his little dog Bella lying on my lap for those couple hours. I could rub her tummy as she slept. Walter’s bright grandson Ethan was in the room learning the business too. I will now not journey into this morass of insurance confusion again. I’ll just call Walter.
