I have taken two of my vehicles to Clydes and both of my experiences here have been stellar. The staff are all very friendly and Clyde himself is a very well versed and experienced mechanic. He explains EVERYTHING to you in a way that your average person who doesnt know much about cars (like myself) will understand. I would also like to let you in on the fact that this auto shop does 0 advertising! All business is done by word of mouth which speaks volumes... if you have issues with your car and have no clue how to fix it yourself, take it to Clyde. His shop is awesome.

Clyde is a wonderful person. Yesterday my 20 yr old daughter and her friend were driving my car home from Santa Cruz to San Diego. I had lent them my car because it was safe and dependable. But apparently not, it broke down in a remote area near the San Luis Resevoir, completely dead with the engine light on. Thankfully we were helped by Ted of Double D towing who was also amazing and he brought us to Clyde. Clyde was patient, professional and kind. Because I was almost 400 miles away I was worried about how I would be able to manage this problem and if this stranger to me would be able to or be honest enough to fix my car. As I stood at the airport ready to fly North to rent a car and come get my girls, Clyde got on the phone with me. He had determined that it was the alternator, he had the part I needed, and he was willing to fix it immediately so the girls could get back on the road and I could stay home. Is everyone nice in Los Banos? Between Ted and Clyde it seems like an awesome town and I can not believe how wonderful they treated me and my girls. Clydes kind and confident manner easily won my trust. He did the work immediately and expertly, even though he only works by appointment. He had the car repaired at a very fair price and the girls on the road before I could have ever physically gotten there. Thank you Clyde for making my day so much better and for restoring my faith in strangers. You run an exceptional auto shop and you are a great person, we were lucky and fortunate to find you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
