I love to go hiking there with my husband and son. I love to watch the Sunset and breath fresh and clean air.

Finally went there to pick up some compost. Drove past it once. The pickup area is across the road from the Authorized Vehicles areas. There are two enclosures side-by-side, with one open side. One has the mulch, which was medium brown and obviously just shredded stuff. The compost is darker and finer textured. Be sure and bring your own shovel and something to put the stuff in. A man that was there at the same time as I was was loading his compost into plastic trash cans -- the kind we used to use before the automated trash pickup -- and putting them in the back of his pickup truck. I had brought some bags that dry catfood had come in. Whatever works for you! And, as the gentleman said: You cant beat the price!

Free mulch! Bring some old bags from your last time at the nursery and now you never have to buy them again. Recycling in action and a wonderful service provided by the city.
