We received terrible service. They charge $40.00 per day for parking which was never mentioned in the reservation. When we entered the room it smelt terrible. We were concerned about the smell because of the pandemic. There was a crib sitting in the room which was never ordered, taking up space. When we called the front desk they promised to remove the crib which never happened. After waiting for a couple of hours We removed the crib ourselves and left it the the hallway. The crib sat there for a day and a half before it was finally removed. There was not a single pen or any note pad available in the the room the front desk told us that they were out of pens and note pads. In the bathroom there was no shampoo front desk told us, they were out of soap and shampoo. We went and bought some soap shampoo. Later that night we found a cockroach crawling in the bathroom. I went ahead and took pictures and videos of it. The fire extinguisher on the 7th floor was sitting in a metal cabinet with no glass. Next to the fire extinguisher there were some empty beer cans ( I have video proof of it) we called the corporate office the next day and was assured by the available manager on duty the we will receive full credit of the payment charged by the hotel within 48 hours. We paid for 3 nights but ended up staying there for only 2. This property should be but under strict supervision before they make tourists sick. It was a big embarrassment in front of our guest who was visiting from Europe. Up till today I have not received my credit of over $500.00 which forced me to dispute this charge with my credit card company.
My stay was okay; However, checking out is still in question. I stayed here while on vacation for two nights. Upon check out, they tell you that your deposit will automatically be released. Keep in mind I checked in on 9/8 and check out 9/10. As of today 9/24/21, I still have not received my deposit refund. I have been conversing with the hotels desk agents as well the Managers on duty since Wednesday 9/22/21. I was told that I would received a call back and no one has reached out. What’s funny is, now when I call, the phone just rings as if they have caller ID and declining to take my call. It’s like they don’t want to refund my deposit. Today I spoke with Alejandra around 12: pm who advised that Manager’s Trevor or Mary would return my call within the next after their meeting. It’s now 5:22pm here and no one has called. My next step is to contact corporate and dispute he charge with my bank. Not to mention, when they did answer, I sat on hold for at 15 minutes before hanging up and calling back to be put on another hold. I have never seen this sort of unprofessionalism in my life. Nor have I had to follow up with a hotel about my deposit and I travel often. This is completely unheard of.
Positive: It was close to the airport. friendly staff and manager Trevor. information about Covid 19 restrictions about the cleaning of the room needs to be explained to guest upon check-in. Negative: we waited an hour for the shuttle to the hotel with no explanation as to why. The hotel ride took only 5 minutes for the airport to the hotel. Where did the driver disappear 2? no breakfast
Nice place. However some rooms look quite dated. Mine had some bad stains on bathroom baseboard. Strong chemicals smell but not enough to bother me. My wife would not take it though. Food was plentiful and good. Staff was great. Would stay again.
I havent even checked in and Im already frustrated with customer service or a lack thereof! I inadvertently made 2 reservations and Ive been trying to cancel the 1st one for a week or so. No humanis ever available. Also, they allow you to leave a message on voicemail and no one returns the call. Makes me want to cancel my entire reservation
Positive: Location near Lax Although breakfast was takeout, the breakfast skillet was nice and tasty. The young lady preparing was friendly and kind. Negative: View, had to request microwave, refrigerator standing on a rolled-up plastic lft corner, 09/18/21our door was open when we arriv back to our room 9:30sh am. Maid showed us piece of medal protruding from door bottom, said door broken and she didn¿t open
Ive been a loyal Marriott member for many years and my stay at this hotel has to be the worst. Rather than a long review, here are the highlights :Pros:-Friendly front desk staff-Friendly shuttle driver-Great water pressure in the showerCons:-Shuttle never showed up at the airport. Multiple calls to the hotel went unanswered over a 30-minute period. Finally had to take a cab that cost $20 and included the rudest cab driver Ive ever encountered.-Front desk staff were clearly overworked.-The lighting in the room (except for the bathroom) was so dim you could barely see.-There were no cups or glasses in the room.-The safe was broken (see picture)-The attempt to hide the TV power cord was laughable (see picture)-The vanity in the bathroom was supported by poorly painted 2x4s-The pillows were the lumpiest I have ever felt-Overall, the building felt old and tired.I would never stay here again and I will be writing to Marriott.
I never write reviews but this place really deserved one. The hotel gave us 2 towels for a room with 4 people, there was no ice machine on the floor at all even though they had a sign for it but it’s no where to be found. They don’t give any hand soap for the bathroom only a bar of facial soap. The bathroom has no exhaust fan, and we were given only half a roll of toilet paper and no extra rolls. The parking is 38$ for hotel guests but it’s the same price for someone who doesn’t have a room so it’s no benefit. The parking also has no door to the hotel you have to walk completely around the hotel to get back in. It says the hotel is pet friendly but it’s a 75$ charge for having a pet with you. We got late check out which we were grateful for but we even went down to the front desk to make sure our keys wouldn’t be turned off and they assured us we were fine only to come back to our room and our keys didn’t work. The only positive thing i have to say about this hotel is the front desk being nice. Would not recommend staying here.
This place seemed like no one working there knew what was going on and the system in place didnt make sense. The parking here is $38 a night which I think is ridiculous especially because its an uneven parking lot that twists around and has tight corners, easy for parked cars to be hit. I wasnt aware of this fee until arriving to check in, which could easily be my own fault. When we checked in the person at the desk only gave us the key and told us where the room was located, whereas I was the one who had to ask about wifi, pool and fitness center hours, how the parking works, etc. When we entered into the parking lot theres an arm barrier gate and we were instructed to print out a ticket with a QR code that allows us to enter back into the lot if we leave. When leaving, it asked for us to pay the $38 dollars even though we were told that the charge would be on our room card (we were later triple charged for it and was told to just call to get it reimbursed). On our way back into the lot from dinner the QR code wouldnt scan so we asked the front desk and they said to just print a new one, and assured me that we wouldnt be double charged...we were. When we went swimming we asked for more towels to be sent to our room and the front desk person said that itll be a while for housekeeping to get up there. When we were finished swimming we couldnt find the towels so we had one person drip back into the lobby to ask where they were. They said that they had run out and that house keeping will have to replace it. When asked how long itll be (we were freezing because the pool was very cold) they told us that house keeping will be a while. So we then dripped all the way back to our room. We at least felt safe while staying there, but we were very frustrated with how this hotel treated their guests.
Positive: Was comfy and clean. Negative: Parking ridiculous amount and paid twice cause I didn¿t know they charged the room. (How do they know I have a car) ended up paying 55 for a one night stay Coffee pot was missing the pod holder so no coffee for us ¿¿ Room numbers confusing/to
Positive: The hotel was dog friendly. Negative: The towels were not clean. There was hair on the bathroom floor. The parking is $40/night. There was poor communication about parking charges. This was like a 2.5 star rating. The Sheraton and any hotel near the airport would be nice, not the case here.
When we got there the 1980s vent in the bathroom bothered me a touch. No face towels were in the bathroom and there was no refrigerator or microwave available in room. Tub/Shower needs to be updated( not clean and shower head was questionable). Parking is terrible and you have to share the parking lot with vans that the company partners with at the location. Gate was broken all three days we were there and the staff has a lack of communication with one another to resolve issues so that customers do not become frustrated with the accommodation problem. Also pool was not open and they did not serve breakfast nor have the little diner open. Outside atmosphere was seemly clean. Would not recommend.Parking was $40 a night! They don’t tell you until you check in and it really isn’t worth it.
The rooms were dirty, the building itself was old and out dated, we picked this place because it had a pool and figured with the name sheraton it would be a nice place to stay.. wrong, the pool was dirty with things floating around on top of the water and items on the bottom of the pool. We would not recommend.
WHEN I CHECKED IN 9/26, I WAS TOLD THAT THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE DIDNT START UNTIL 6:00AM AND I NEEDED THE RIDE TO THE AIRPORT AT 4:15 AM. THE CLERK SAID JUST CALL DOWN RIGHT BEFORE COMING DOWN AND THEY WOULD CALL A TAXI AND IT WOULD BE THERE IN 10 MINUTES. WHEN I CALLED DOWN IN THE MORNING,THE CLERK SAID THEY DONT CALL THE TAXIS. THEY GAVE ME A NUMBER FOR THE TAXIS. I WAS TOLD THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY AVAILABLE. I HAD TO BRIBE A PASSING TAXI WITH $50 TO GET ONE TO TAKE ME AND I ALMOST MISSSED MY FLIGHT. THE CLERK IN THE MORNING SAID I WAS MISINFORMED.WHEN I CHECKED IN I WAS TOLD THAT THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT OPEN ALL DAY. I HAD DINNER AT THE MARRIOTT NEXT DOOR AND WHEN I CAME BACK THROUGH THE SHERATON THE RESTAURANT WAS OPEN.THE ONLY VENDING MACHINE WAS ON FLOOR 2 AND I WAS ON 7. AND HALF OF THE ITEMS WERE SOLD OUT.
Positive: To be honest there wasn¿t really anything I liked best about the hotel except just how clean it was Negative: Was very disappointing in the price for parking (40$) and the staff was rude. Didn¿t like the attitude I got from the front desk. The house keepers were the nicest people and I left them a nice gift for there hospitality.
This Hotel is TERRIBLE. I have stayed at nicer Motel 6 then this place. Sheraton used to mean something. Not here. The staff was rude. My tv did not work. They didnt even have a fitted sheet on the bed. There is stains on the floor and it looks like the door has been kicked in before. If I could give it a worst rating I would.
Positive: Nothing it was old and dirty. Negative: It was very dirty and the carpet was so gross my kids were crawling on it and there hands and legs were black from the dirt. Wallpaper falling off in places. No house keeping while staying there. They barely provided towels and toilet paper had to beg.
If I could give it negative stars, I would. Not only was the room & hotel advertised as non smoking, and beside me they smoked weed & caused me a massive migraine that impacted my trip, staff was INCREDIBLY rude. I’ve never had a worse experience with a hotel in my life. I was told I’d get a refund for my concerns and because I had to check out EARLY. I was only “refunded” the 2nd night which I didn’t even stay! I should’ve been given a complete refund because of how disgusting this place was. Whenever I spoke to the front desk they were INCREDIBLY rude, and hung up on me multiple times. I’ve never had such terrible customer service. The hotel was disgusting.
Both restaurants were closed, so I had to go out for every meal. The TV in the room kept going out and it wasnt even high definition. I had to make several requests for towels. The internet was down the whole time I was there and some of the staff were less than friendly. As a frequent traveler, and Marriott fan, this place was completely underwhelming. They could have at least offer to comp some of my parking tab. Give something back.
Positive: Centrally located. Negative: This hotel had bed bugs and/or fleas. Some type of bugs were all over my back and body. I left the hotel with severe red swelling on my body from the bite marks. I definitely wont return to the Four Seasons LAX!!!
Ac didn’t work in the room. They don’t switch your room when there is a problem. They charge 40 for parking even though your already paying nice money for the hotel. Not worth the stay, better hotels on the side of the beach 10 mins up the road
Terrible experience! This hotel looked okay when we walked in but the rooms, elevators and hallways were old and looked dusty. Also when we checked in the receptionist checked us in to a room and we left to dinner after putting our bags in the room. We returned and they checked some other people to the room while we were out. Our bags were in that room! why the heck would you check other people to a room that is vacant?? Long story short.. we lost my husband’s gold chain and my wedding ring. This was the worst thing ever to happen especially cos we were there for a funeral. We contacted Manager (Mary) and she took a statement and told us she will contact corporate and will get back as soon as possible and I haven’t heard from her yet. I call everyday to check up and get some info on how this will be resolved.Would definitely give 0 stars if I could
Positive: Room cleanliness Negative: The front desk staff was not very welcoming and didn¿t give full details about parking. Parking was $41 a night which was not something presented while booking. The rental vans outside use vehicle sirens to locate vans in the lots VERY early each morni
Positive: Ac worked well Negative: The room smelled horribly of smoke and not the kind of smoke smell that occurs after a few smokes. The room smelled like it had been smoked in heavily for years. They offered to change my room but I was going to be there for 5 hours, so no time.
Positive: One of the female agents Negative: No cable or TV channels available. Pretty much no TV and the lights went off for about two minutes
I paid for a room through Groupon at $140, my Groupon wasn’t acknowledged or they couldn’t find the reservation for whatever reason even after showing proof. I had to pay for a room because we obviously needed to sleep. I was charged $180, also charged for parking. (We Ubered.)The customer service was not so great, very unorganized and unprofessional. The room smelled like an ash trash. It was very small and dated.Customer service was contacted twice via email with a promise to get back to me. This was!around 9/10, over a week ago and still no response.I would not recommend this hotel, I wish I had something good to say.
Positive: Easy to park Negative: The room they originally gave me had people in it already! I had to go back to the front desk and get a new room it and it took an extra 20mins
Agreed WORST hotel around, I was fooled by the Four Points Sheraton branding. This place is not like the normal Four Points, its really more like a Quality Inn. The non-existent shuttle schedule is also terrible, shame on me for not reading the other reviews. Again, there is NO SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM 12A - 6A, which as the previous reviewer said is so pointless as an airport hotel - buyer beware.
I haven’t even gotten to check in yet and this hotel has sealed its 1-star fate. I called when I made the reservation weeks ago to request an early check-in, to which they said they would attempt but it was not guaranteed, and that I should call within 24 hours of check in with such a request. I did, and called 5 hours in advance before I flew across the country to ask again about the early check in as I would’ve made other travel arrangements from the airport if they could not accommodate me, but the hotel management assured me that a room would be available. I showed up accordingly and low and behold, was rejected check in. The front desk person did not care, and said “well a lot has happened between your call and now”. Unbelievable. So now I’m sitting here waiting in the lobby, irritated due to being lied to and exhausted from traveling. I specifically expected to have some down time in the room before my plans today, but because of their mismanagement and outright lie, I get to sit here for an unknown amount of time waiting for them to get it together. Praying the room is clean and AC works based on the other reviews I’ve read…
Positive: That it was close to the airport that they offered shuttle services. Negative: The location of my room was hard to find, the room #s were not in order. The breakfast grab and go couldve been open a little longer.
Staff was friendly and the room was okay. We were caught off guard to find their airport shuttle didnt start until 6 AM which is why we stayed at a hotel near the airport. We had to find alternate transportation. It would have been nice to have these restricted shuttle times on the website at checkout.
Positive: The only thing is that they are near to the airport. Thats it Negative: What did you like the worst about this hotel? The hotel did not respond to my repeated calls. The shuttle service was not available when I arrive. The website of the hotel did not say anything about it. I have to pay for my trip from theairport to hotel.
Positive: the water pressure on the shower is about the only positive. Negative: the fact that they charge 40.00 dollars for a non existing parking was ridiculous, 4 handicapped spaces only- 20 minutes just to checking in 3 people at the front desk and only one working the other 2 where talking to each other ignoring the line.
Negative: Didnt expect to have to pay 40 percent more for parking each day . This was a bait and switch on price would not recommend this hotel especially if ur on a budget. The room was nothing spectacular.
Horrible experience.1. Fire alarm went off at 4.00 am on Saturday Sep, 11, 2021 woke up everyone in the hotel to evacuate. It took a while till fire crews came and shutoff the false alarm around 4.30 am. Couple false alarms went off later around 4.45 am and again before 5.00 am. I couldnt sleep at all.2. No communication from hotel staff and no one make sure if guests are evacuated properly. Only saw one staff outside of the hotel. If this is a real fire situation, few guests may be left in the building. Even it seems to be false alarm situation, hotel staff must perform as it is real.3. The facility is old and doesnt seem to be well maintained. Stairway was dirty and the elevator is slow. Only one elevator worked at night. Poor maintenance of the building might cause the false alarms.
Four Points LAX is a low rate roach infested motel, not a hotel. During my stay, there were roaches in my room, the room and bathroom was dirty upon check in, and I was informed that housekeeping doesnt clean rooms during a persons visit. The towels were dirty and the room had a terrible odor. The mattress had either bed bugs or fleas. This place should be shut down!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Do not stay at this run down roach motel. The floor at the airport might be cleaner than this bed bug infested flea motel. Do not stay here. Also housekeeping will try to come into your room when you leave. I saw the housekeeper knocking on all of the doors to see if someone was inside. Again, dont stay here. I cant believe this roach motel is associated with Sheraton.
Positive: Close to airport Negative: Dirty paint peeling in rooms parking is horrible for $38 a night in a dark dirty alley. Tubs stops up hotel is noisey
Positive: room cleanliness, altho the decor is outdated. Negative: exterior of hotel need renovation
Never book this hotel with pricelineU gonna waste an hour to check in
Hotel was nice and clean but parking is $47 per night! Ouch! That would have been fine if it would have been mentioned at any point during the on-line reservation process. Parking Available was stated so I assumed parking would be included, but there was no mention of a fee. This was not a nice surprise while checking in, although the guy at the front desk was nice and the room was clean and nice.
Very dirty and old, house keeping didn’t come for services properly. This is not a star hotel and some motels are better than this hotel
Not the most accommodating but the beds were comfortable
Expensive, yet lack of amenities. Small size rooms. High price for on site park daily.
I have stayed at this location on two (2) separate occasions in 2016 & 2018. I was a Starwood platinum member. Both my stays were on points. The location is convenient. When you land at LAX, there is a shuttle service to the hotel. I used this property to stay on upon my arrival because it is easy to get to and the next day, you can use the shuttle service to pick up your rental at LAX and save on the parking. I also used this property the night before I leave because I can return the rental the night before (again, save one night of parking) and take the shuttle back to the hotel and use the shuttle again in the morning to catch my flight without worrying about traffic or delays. The rooms are clean and basic (you get what you pay for). The staff is friendly. I look forward to visiting this property using the Marriott loyalty program.
Positive: Nothing Negative: The fire alarm went off three time between the hours of 4am-6am The fire escape stairs that were close to my room had a locked door to go outside There was blood on the flat sheet to my bed
Negative: Parking is $40 and there is no alternative place to park. The mattress was hard as rock.
Negative: The parking situation is horrendous. My second night I arrived after work and the entire parking was depleted, cars were parked in fire lanes and throughout the site.
Stayed there last night. 1 hour for the shuttle and 1.15 to check in. For sure not a Marriott level hotel.
Horrible, they couldnt be bothered to state that everything was closed, zero help from from desk, phone was off, fitness center closed, shuttle service laughable. Never again
WORST HOTEL!!!!! Wish I could give zero stars. Words cannot express how horrible this hotel experience was. The keys did not work after several trips back to the front desk. The shower did not drain so we had to switch rooms. The phone did not work. The place is out of date. There were zero amenities and the woman at the front desk was rude. They also don’t pick up the phone. The absolute worst part though was the fact that the shuttle doesn’t run early enough. I had to pay $20 for a taxi. Why would anyone stay at an airport hotel with no shuttle? Stay ANYWHERE else!!
When I first called the front desk to ask a question about airport parking, they were not very helpful and not very friendly over the phone. From a customer service standpoint, they did not deliver well. However, the rest of my experience with the hotel was extremely wonderful. The staff that I spoke to upon my arrival at the hotel was incredibly kind and helpful. After I had returned to pick up my car, the staff again helped me, as I had never used this parking service before.Besides my first phone call, I was very pleased with the way the staff treated me and how helpful they were. I will definitely use them again to park. I hope that the first person I spoke with will be more helpful to those in the future and that the rest of the staff will continue their excellent customer service.
Positive: The night cleaning lady was very passionate about her work and was very helpful. Negative: As a whole this hotel was very sub-standard. No luggage cart, no snacks in the snack bar, not atm machine, the night check-in staffer appeared to be very unmotivated and was not willing to go the extra mile
The room abs the hotel is very old and not welcoming. The shower has no water pressure and automatically changes temperature. I think it is an old building. I’d someone turns on the faucet, your shower temperature and pressure drop. Parking is 40$ there is a parking garage right next to sonesto - 5 min walk for 20$
Positive: Convenient, and good rate. Negative: Staff open the door to my room. I was sleep then I was awaken by knocking at the door, I sat up, and before I knew it someone was opening up my door. The person at the door apologized but no one else from the hotel took the initiative to call me........
What HORRIBLE RATINGS - THE OWNER REPLIES TO 1 TOP RATING IGNORES THE RESTSCAM SCACAMWORST PL,
Dont ever use their services i was sitting in the airport for over an hour waiting for the shuttle and the answer is my driver went to lunch and we have only one shuttle
Positive: Very close to the airport. Free shuttles to and from the airport. I felt very safe. It met all our needs. Negative: Covid restrictions limited the hotel amenities, which is currently the standard in most hotels in the area. Got woken up at 5am by false fire alarm. Note that it took the fire trucks only 5 minutes to arrive.
Positive: The absolute great customer service by the sweet young lady that checked me in. She was very polite & professional. Sorry I forgot her name. Also, the young man that took me to the airport at 4AM was very nice. Negative: Nothing!
Don’t stay here. Just don’t. The price wasn’t bad for one night, but that should have been the first red flag. The first room they gave us was tiny and dingy. The carpet was ripped, there was gouges in the paint on the doors and walls, the walls were dirty and the bathroom was not as clean as I would like. The room they switched us to was nicer - bigger and seemingly cleaner, but the walls were still splattered with something, and the curtain was torn. In the second room, the tv didn’t work the way it was supposed to (no pay per view movies, no connection to phone). Just don’t bother. Stay some place nicer. You’ll be happier in the long run.
Only needed to stay for a few hours between flights but I would not stay again. Room was small and not clean. They had one of those “sanitized” stickers on the door but the bathroom was gross especially the toilet and shower.Double Room was very small and you could barely fit on the toilet and close the door.Shuttle was GREAT. Best part of the stay. It runs every half hour (which I think they should have posted somewhere because we missed one by 3 minutes. We would have come down sooner had we known. But it’s super close to the airport so we were still very early for our flight.
Please don’t stay here. It’s not clean. I couldn’t sleep comfortably here.
Spent the Christmas holiday here, the clerk was pretty helpful. I ended up leaving my cash deposit, which I later tried to retrieve and was denied. Learnt the hotel would be closing.
This place is horrible. I regret staying here. $40 to park your car and someone can easily walk up to your car and break into it, no security! My key card for my door stopped working not once but twice. My bed sheets had stains in them from the people before me. And to top it all off its been 2 weeks and I NEVER RECIEVED MY SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK!!! Everyday Ive been trying talk to someone there for the past week and a half and NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE!! And i cannot leave a message for a manager because there voicemail box is full. This is a warning STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
I find some of these reviews to be downright false. I had booked through priceline and after reading a few reviews I was tempted to cancel! I am so glad I didnt!! I had a wonderful stay and found the hotel to be exceptionally clean. I always seen housekeeping staff being diligent to keep things clean in all areas of the hotel. My king room was VERY CLEAN and well kept. The bed and pillows so comfortable! The front desk staff accommodated my early check-in as well as my late check out. The man at the restaurant serving the limited menu was very kind as well! The pool was amazing and also very clean. My only complaint is that I wish there had been a fridge and microwave in the room.
Been calling for information for 3 days now and no one answers the phone
Positive: The staff is excellent. My room is great. Negative: They do nothing about people smoking and the rooms and hallways reek of weed and cigar smoke. I mean REEK!
Positive: The staff was so nice. Negative: my room was not clean. I had sanitizer. But I told the staff and they were apologetic but other than getting a,awsome reduced cup of coffee nobody helped out. Someone left their body wash in the shower. Gross!
Rooms small and out dated. Pool area was constantly filled with the same people although it says limit 18 it was the same group at least since we at still least since we’re in the middle of a pandemic it could have been some sort of protocol(i.e families could have been given time limits and made reservations) I seen a guy hit a girl in the parking lot, then to top it off parking was 41.80 and the guys says well down the street it 50 as if that was supposed to relieve me. On the bright side the A.C worked perfectly and my sole purpose was to cool down since my a.c is broken.
Great service! The rooms were okay, they were pretty small but didn’t affect me. The shower had no conditioner. The parking was extremely outrageous! $40 for parking & there was no where to park! Other than that, I had a great stay
Hardly any room service, housekeeping doesnt really acknowledge you or even speak the same language. Female staff, awesome Id say, Guys...Maybe a cup of coffee no offense. Room was dry and used almost fully through, will not make this a place to stay.
Positive: The location was what I needed Negative: Bed was horrible, curtains missing hooks, towels were dirty looking, parking was a nightmare at $40 per night we had to park along side fences or illegally.
Positive: The night shift was extremely helpful when we had to move rooms due to a dog barking all night. We didn’t get the room we had originally paid for but it was still a good room. Negative: Leaving, the staff was rude to me and my fiancé, and if you are shuttling from airport be ready to sit for an hour!
My stay was excellent because of the great staff here. Everyone was extremely friendly. I came from Oklahoma for vacation with my mom. The room was very clean and I always felt safe. I also liked that I didn’t hear any noise when sleeping. The air conditioning is the room was also amazing. The room also had great hot water and water pressure. The pool was also very clean. The only negatives is the amount you have to pay for parking at this hotel and the rooms being a little small.I would overall recommend this hotel because of the cost. It’s very nice and safe for the price
Positive: Staff fixed my card issue immediately! They were a great help; including the security guard. Thanks Negative: Everything was great!!
Hung up twice and could not provide airport shuttle
Positive: The pool area was really beautiful. Negative: The parking. I didn’t mind paying $40/nt for parking even though I’ve paid less for parking at 5 star hotels. The biggest issue was not having a parking space because they were all rented out to folks flying out.
Positive: Had to wait and wait for their shuttle and ended up tipping another shuttle to give us a ride. Staff very helpful, friendly, and professional. Coffee not set up for 2 people just one cup.
Rooms are not up-kept and management has a hustling style of doing business. Avoid at all costs.
Sad this is rated a 4 star. Bathroom is so old you cant clean it property. The beds feel like springs no fridge and the carpet has so many stains I just cant. Also there are cracks in the ceiling and the maid really needs to clean the mirrors and doors for prints especially during this covid time. Did not sleep well at all 😒
A fantastic experience at this Hotel! Great service and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is clean, modern and has everything you need. The airport shuttle is 100% reliable. I would not hesitate to return. There is a great vibe in the hotel because the staff are all happy.
I was very disappointed with the customer service. Also being woken up at 4:50am by a loud fire alarm that wouldnt stop and the speaker is right on the side wall of the bed it was horrible and when we called the front desk they said Security and hung up we were frighten and didnt know what to do my husband had a huge meeting in the morning and barely slept because of the fire alarm. Also if you cross the street to walk to the store be ready to see a lot of drug activity, homeless people and drug addicts standing around not very safe. The maids were very nice and pleasant. Overall my experience was not good very disappointed being its a 3.5 Star hotel. After complaining he front desk didnt even want to refund me the last night only 50% of the last night and we stayed 3 nights wouldnt recommend it.
Upon checking in we found clothes and shoes in our closet. The bathroom mirror was not clean. There were some rooms on the 4th floor that were abandoned. I called the front desk and said I would be checking out immediately. Please save time and stay at the Westin where I stayed for the first leg of my trip. The only good thing is the manager on duty was really nice.
Two hours at the airport waiting for a bus to pick me up this is the worst service ever
Positive: Convenience Negative: The cost of parking is ridiculous and both mornings I was woken up by an alarm in the room next to ours and nobody was staying in it. Very upsetting for someone who has sleep issues and came to LA to rest. Especially when it went off again the next day.
Positive: Fridge and microwave in room. Very nice during this pandemic. Negative: Rooms could have been a little cleaner.
So disappointed with our stay. I usually do not give bad reviews. But I have to say that this was a terrible stay. Came in a waited for 30 minutes to check in. There was only 1 person at the desk. Our room was very outdated. Stained curtains ext.. but after getting the kids in for a bath we realized we didnt have any towels and had to come get it ourself... terrible service. They also only handed us 2 towels for 4 people and didnt even ask how many we needed. I was expecting a much better service than this.
This place is outdated, rusted, and dirty!!!! Im furious because the pictures that are on the website had to be taken years ago. This is a motel not a hotel and the sad thing about it is there are plenty reviews stating the same thing and they havent done anything to better it they just respond the same thing to everyone.
The place was so Trashy but I Travelled from Milwaukee WI to vist Family. But the House keeper was such a respectful polite well mannered older lady she made it wroth it you know it is good to know theres nice people Her name Dora
Positive: The look and it was very clean quite and the room was properly cleaned Negative: Not at all
Water goes back and forth from luke warm to scalding hot in a matter of seconds without you even touching the temperature settings. WiFi only allows you to connect 1 device at a time. Pillows are nice and fluffy, bed is cool, they give you a desk to work at aswell. Probably will do my best to avoid this specific chain of hotels from now on. SIDE NOTE: The Morning and Night Staff members that work the front desk were super nice, just don’t like the hotel
If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit RoomBully. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!Always have a good experience staying here. Clean and extremely friendly staff. The breakfast is fantastic, and Jesus our server is amazing. He always makes sure everyone is having a good time. Cannot say enough nice things about the service provided. Thank you
Positive: Lovely place close to LAX...the staff have very good and helpful attitudes Negative: Wasnt very clean the first night which they promptly fixed
I would give a 5-rating to this hotel. Last week, I had a reservation from this hotel. The staff that I spoke to was so polite and accommodating. The room where I stayed was so neat and spaciously clean. The bed was so soft and comfy. The view that I had from my room was breathtaking. The pool area was so clean as well. If you will visit this area better stay at this hotel!
DO NOT park your car here. Their lot is small and on top of that it’s shared with a van/car rental so there’s even less parking spots available. Their phone number doesn’t even ring when trying to get a shuttle from the airport.
The room was alright but other comparable hotels in the area offer better rooms. Parking is $38 a night, much more than the other hotels nearby. Id rather spend more on a room and less on parking. Next time I will stay at Renaissance.
This is a great place for a quiet vacation. My husband and I stayed for a week in early January 2020. We wanted a relaxing week on the beach at a luxurious hotel with excellent service and delicious food. We had preferred honeymoon suite oceanfront and received wonderful service from the staff! We loved every minute of our vacation and hated to leave. Thank you and see you next time!
Negative: Checking in at night didn’t feel safe.
We were very pleased with the hospitality and friendliness of everyone at the Hotel. I could see also that the place was very clean and organized. I am very happy with the service that you provided on that day. I should highly recommend you to all of my friends and family here in our place. Thank you very much for your kindness!
