Dr. Pak and his team are the best. Before my procedure, Dr. Pak took the time to explain the process and answer all of my questions. He addressed my goals and drew in the hair line so I could have an idea of where my grafts would be placed.The procedure went by quick and I didnt remember feeling any pain. I was able to listen to music and watch TV during the procedure. The staff were accommodating and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Dr. Pak checked multiple times to make sure my procedure was going as planned.We took a break so I could have some cookies and ice cream. After my procedure, they provided me with lunch and dessert. Yum!I would highly recommend Dr. Pak and his team!

I cant say enough good things about my experience with Dr Pak & Dr Rassman (New Hair Institute) and their professional staffs!I am very happy with the result! I am in my mid thirties with thinning of my front & middle hairline. I went to New hair institute to thicken this area up.On The first day of the procedure, I was a little nervous but the staffs quickly made me feel very comfortable!The entire procedure was painless! I slept through most of it and never felt a thing.I really am thankful for the expertise, kindness, and honesty with the staff and the doctor.I wish I could give this place more stars!

Dr. Pak and his team are absolutely wonderful - I can not say enough good things about them! Ive been struggling back and forth with whether or not to get a hair transplant for a credit card sized bald spot I had on my head from break-dancing back when I was younger. Ive tried all sorts of other options but finally realized that hair-transplant was my only long term solution. Dr. Pak attentively listened to the issue I had, gave me thorough explanations of what he can do for me, and addressed additional questions I had even after my initial in-person meeting. He gave me the confidence I needed to make the best educated decision for me. Not once did I feel pressured in any way - his work speaks for itself.From the initial visit at the Irvine office to the day of the operation, I was blown away from the level service, care, and professionalism. Dr. Pak is tremendously skillful with his technique and he exhibits a huge level of meticulous detail throughout the whole process. You can really tell that the loves what he does.All in all, I am happy I made the decision to get this procedure done and even happier that I chose Dr. Pak to do it for me. After visiting another cosmetic surgeon who does hair transplantation and feeling very uneasy about his methodology, I found New Hair Institute and made an appointment to visit Dr. Rassman. From the minute I entered their office/surgical center, I was treated like a VIP and had instant confidence and comfort that this would be the right fit for my procedure. Meeting Dr. Rassman cemented it. His friendly patient demeanor and careful answers to my specific questions, plus his resume and results, affirmed that NHI was my service provider of choice. I elected to have the FUE treatment and Dr. Rassmans partner, Dr. Pak did the procedure, assisted by Carolyn and Iris. They were fantastic. Everything that Dr. Rassman and Dr. Pak told me to expect about the procedure and recovery went exactly like they told me it would. Of course I wont know the results for some months, but I am confident that Dr. Paks skill and hard work will maximize the results I ultimately achieve. I am very grateful to everyone at NHI, from Asia and Paul on the admin side, to Leila, Emma, Iris and Carolyn on the support side (special shout out to Tram for the great fade hair cut she gave me on the morning of my procedure) and of course to Dr. Pak and Dr. Rassman. I’m NHI patient Dan Jacobs. This place is amazing. Dr. Jae Pak performed FUE on me with literally no pain. I woke to a finished surgery. Dr. Jae Pak’s results are better than the robot FUE ARTAS I’ve done in the past. Both Christine and Damon staff members are great at doing the SMP. I paid for the full head SMP to make my hair appear much thicker. Some people at the open house think I’m bragging when they simply see my head of hair. Not by anything I say but just by what they see. The staff is not only friendly but often offer orange or apple juice. I feel bad that I wasted money before with a different hair loss doctor that’s in Beverly Hills with the robot FUE ARTAS. When I’ve had a procedure you see many different doctors come to watch. This place truly leads the hair loss field. That’s how I know this place is the doctor’s doctor since they train other doctors in hair loss surgery but Dr. Rassman & Jae Pak literally authored hair loss for dummies book. I can give the best review cause NHI has performed both FUE & SMP to both my head and beard. I feel so deeply grateful with the results that I’m committed to going to every open house in both LA & Irvine from now on. My apologies for such a long review, below, but I feel so passionate about this topic...Im giving 100% excellent thumbs up to NHI with 5+ stars, but I also want to share my very personal story. I have spent nearly 6 years studying the best HT doctors, medications, and procedures in America and their names kept surfacing. I have researched over two dozen clinics and called personally over the years conducting research. At last I found the right fit. Rassman is a true pioneer (FUE, Densitometer, FUT, ARTAS, etc., etc.-look it up) and Dr. Jae Pak is a superb doctor and artist with undetectable SMP results. See his page.My Story: I started losing my hair at 23. I remember my British flatmate (in UK) joking my crown was balding. I didnt believe this was possible at only 23--I was very young! I ignored the problem-denial/ignorance/stupidity? By 26 I advanced to a severe NW5, with minimal crown density and scant front hairline. My pillow every morning was filled with hair. I looked much older than my age, and anytime I put nanogen concealing fibers in my crown and temples, I had severe anxiety that my friends/girlfriend(s) would discover my secret. My secret was exposed one sunny day. Nanogen looks clumpy under certain lighting conditions. I didnt want to go to the beach or pool or spend time dating. These were some of the toughest years of my life. People kept commenting on my large forehead and asking how old I was. Fast forward to 31, and my hair loss has now stabilized and I look like I have a near full head of hair from the front with a much lower (normal) and youthful hairline. I am receiving a crown restoration from Dr. Rassman and his team soon. Beyond excited. If it pans out, I may have the appearance of near full head of hair and no bald crown with SMP (from Dr. Pak). This news brought tears to my eyes.My experience at NHI has so far been 100% superb. Why? All my questions have been answered on time and without judgement; NHI called and texted to confirm my appointment; I was given the Dr.s private #s and assured I would be able to ask any questions pre and post-op if needed. They provided me their own (written by them) Hairloss for Dummies book. I was even allowed a tour of their clinic during a live SMP session. Most clinics only care about making a dollar, and NHI spent nearly an hour with me to discuss my options free of charge.My experience at the other clinic (Clinic X in another state) was much less positive. I got a great cosmetic result, but I was treated coldly. When I called Clinic X I was hurried to end the call or told that the Doctor was busy, or given mixed answers by different nurses on post-op care. Plus, their office was uninviting. After spending 20k on a transplant with them, I wasnt even called after to check in on my progress. Worse still, the PRP sessions I received at Clinic X (elsewhere) over 3 years were done incorrectly--no activation attempted.In contrast, my Experience at NHI has been wonderful:1) The facility is state-of-the-art/modern2) Dr. Rassman and Dr. Pak are kind, supportive, ethical, and smart. Every other clinic I called raved about how great they are--that should tell you something.3) Both are pioneers (see their publications)4) SMP (tattoo) was invented by them5) (Dr. Rassman emailed me within minutes of me emailing him post consultation with a summary--seriously impressive)6) They provide you a gourmet lunch during procedure-delicious7) NHI even paid for my luxury Beverly Hills Hotel room. Very cool.8) Their results are lovely. Check out their online photos. When mixing SMP and a HT (FUE or FUT) one can potentially receive the appearance of a near full head of hair. I just wanted to give my love to Dr. Jae Pak and New Hair Institute team! It was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. As an actress and model, my appearance is everything. So it was super important for me to find the best doctor who could help me with my thinning eyebrows. I did a lot of homework. I read all the reviews and decided to meet with Dr. Pak at NHI. The staff was very professional and discreet. The location was convenient. And Dr. Pak was easy going and helpful during the consultation. He took time to explain the different techniques, the pros, and the cons. He gave me realistic expectations. I was ready to book and I am so happy that I did. The result was amazing! I dont have to fill in my eyebrows as much as I used to. I dont have to spend as much time as I used to filling in my eyebrows. Dr.Pak and the staff were so nice and they were all very professional, thorough and compassionate. The office is modern, well-equipped and beautiful. I cant say enough about my experience and results.

I visited the New Hair Institute for Scalp MicroPigmentation (SMP). At my consultation, Dr. Pak was very courteous and explained everything in basic language. There was no attempt to impress me with medical jargon or any high pressure sales pitch. He talked with me at my level and was genuinely interested in my welfare. After the consultation, I booked the procedure.SMP was relatively painless and Dr. Pak was insistent on making sure that I was comfortable. I can not say enough about how happy I am with the results of my procedure. For the first time since my mid-20s, I have a hairline that looks like a hairline of a man with a shaved head. I no longer have the ring-around-the-head look which made me look and feel older than I am. I look like I have a full head of shaved hair. None of my friends can tell that I had this done. They all comment on how there is something different about me, must be my new glasses etc. Even my dental hygienist could not tell I had dots on my head and not hair. If you simply want the best, if you want to have your hair back with a reasonable expectations there is simply no other place to go to other than NHI. Im in my mid-50s my journey with hair loss started in my early 20s and living through the 80s with the likes of Don Johnson on Miami Vice, A receding hairline or a major hair loss was not sexy.I tried everything from estrogen shots to minoxidil to toupe, And in retrospect it was all a big waste of time I wouldve been able to save myself agony and a lot of money if I wouldve went directly to go see Dr. Rassman but thats neither here or there Im just fortunate that I did eventually go to see him because he restored my life back and gave me back the confidence that I lost .Unfortunately we should not all be shallow but thats just not being realistic and my self-esteem, my vision of who I was as a man has always been dependent on that Samson and Delilah story. November 2, 2015Scalp Micro Pigmentation is a procedure I wish had been available years and years ago. It magically gives the impression of having fuller thicker hair. I already have adequate hair on top due to Transplants from Dr Rassman previously at New Hair Institute. Now Dr Pak and his crew are going in there and finishing me off with thousands of miniature tattoos that look like hair stubble.Most clients will style their hair a buzz cut after SMP………. and now after several sessions……… that’s actually looking good on me too. But I’ll let my transplanted hair grow an inch and have both.Thanks New Hair Institute for all your patience and meticulous expertise.J.C.R.

After very extensive research at other hair transplant institutes (there were many of them), the first thing that impressed me at NHI was the fact that the surgeon himself and not a salesperson met with me, unlike the other institutes.Dr. Rassman was very straightforward regarding my results, my expectation, and my budget and other concerns. After careful evaluation, Dr. Rassman gave me his honest opinion and recommendations, of what to expect, and what would be the cost, no low ball games and no gimmicks.To my surprise, instead of just showing me pictures of other “patient’s results” I was offered to meet other patients who went through the same procedure (again; unlike other medical offices), and I even had the opportunity to observe live surgery. All of the above helped me make the right decision to my complete satisfaction. Now, years after my procedures I have my own hair in place, and I am very grateful to the Dr. Rassman, Dr Pak and the entire devoted staff.I strongly recommend to anyone that is considering having a procedure, to come to the monthly ‘open house’ event, meet with other patients, meet the staff and see it all for yourselves.Eddie Levin
