I love everyone who works here however both spray tan machines are always not working… I only do spray tans here for years and every time I come in some thing is not working and I just can’t seem to fix it I wish that they would fix both machines properly once and for all

The facility is fine - actually hidden in the depths of Arclight. It’s got issues with the AC at times and I think maybe a couple of beds could be swapped for a more modern version at this price level and neighborhood.The manager Kaia holds the entire operation together. is one of the most capable and effective people I’ve met. The daily ins and outs of a tanning salon in modern day Hollywood are more complex, unpredictable, and demanding than most people could imagine but she manages to take it all in and find the best possible solutions. A ray of tanning bed sunshine.

Clean and nice! My first ever tanning experience for my bodybuilding competition shows! I built up a beautiful base tan, and I feel incredible after every session. The warmth and modern machines are fun, this is definitely the best place from what I’ve seen of others in la. Convenient location next to veggie girl, too! Treat yourself to the VERSA machines, they are the best!

Service is the worst. Actually to be more specific, the girl employee is the worst. Doesnt know anything about promotions and is just plain rude. Definitely should not be working anywhere that deals with customers. I wouldnt be surprised if she ends up being the reason a lot of customers dont come back.Besides her, there was a guy employee who was there one of the times I went in and he was nice and knowledge. Also, the place is always clean with good beds, prices are kinda high unless u do the monthly membership thing.

Just finished a month of tanning to prep for Halloween. The staff I dealt with at this store are incredibly rude. I tanned in the evenings and two girls typically worked this shift - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS - they were constantly hiding in the tanning rooms on their phones, never looked me in the eye, and never once had a friendly demeanor.I will not be going back.

Ive been tanning for couple of years now trying different tanning salons... from the best to the not so good taking in consideration tanning beds, customer service and stores look and feel. I have been tanning at At the Beach now for 3 years and since day one they have given me great customer service, location always looking neat and clean and the best tanning beds out there. Wanna give a big shout out to Katherine for always welcoming me with a smile and going the extra mile when needed. I highly recommend this place if you have high standards, you will not be disappointed.

They charged me $116.00 after they told me that my account was frozen. Place is a scam! Do not go here!!

This place is SO DARK its the most bizarre thing! You get out the tanning bed and literally cannot see a thing - you have to FEEL around to get to your clothes and get dressed. Also, the booths where you are forced to listen to the radio are pure torture - you are completely unable to even turn it down! The first spray tan i did there was a level three in the versa pro and i was not dark at all the next day, it was like i hadnt even gone. Then i went back and did the versa (unheated one) and its makes you SO dark which is great but then its all drippy and splotchy and youre still fully wet when you get out so you have to jump around for 5 minutes and air yourself so you can get dressed.... ugggh. just put some more lights in there.. is it because its dirty?! i hope they see this, this place needs major work.

First time tanner here, and couldnt be more impressed. Nice, clean location. Always some kind of deal or promotion going on. And Kameron did an exceptional job of getting me and my friend set up with everything we needed. Very positive experience

Charged $56 dollars for less then one week 😡 I only went once and the beds don’t work ... lights out on beds ... bed turns off early ... nice staff but did not compensate me at all ... wouldn’t even let me do another bed .. I feel over charged and left with an uneven tan. Pissed the hell off I want my money back

At the beach has the best tanning beds Ive ever experienced! You can literally see results in one day! Kameron is the sweetest and really informed about all of the beds and products. This place is worth every penny!

*****WARNING PURCHASED/FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS******I was a customer for nearly a year. Everything is about money, specifically your money. And they have no problem using every dirty and deceitful trick in the book. There is ALWAYS some kind of billing error, want to guess whos favor the errors are in?Customer service from HQ/corporate, which is only accessible via email is as awful as it is useless. Wait days for a response, and when Jess finally responds shes borderline curt, and always winds up justifying why/how they screwed you somehow. Never once an apology, never mind correcting the original problem.Fast forward after years of this kind of BS and its no surprise that their online reviews were seriously suffering! Prior to their review buying spree, they were ~2.3 on Google--yikes! Suddenly, a promotion started appearing (see attached pic) every week or so, and BAM, ratings problem solved!! 4.9 rating, nice work Jess!TL;DR STAY AWAY! Theyre chronically dishonest, not customer friendly, not even that affordable! Bribing fake reviews speaks volumes and pretty much sums up their company morals. #Google needs to flag their accounts.

The worst. Service is horrible. I’ve been here 3 times and 3 times that girl had no idea about any of promotions and called a manager. 3 times. She also just a not a pleasant person to talk to.There’s a huge line in the spray tan versaspa. So prepare to wait.

Would not let me buy a single tan without insisting on taking a fingerprint. Imagine a business model requiring all of its customers to give the business their fingerprints. What? Think this through a little bit better, guys: Youre not the CIA; youre not the FBI; you sell tans.

I have avoided this place for a few years because I have had bad experiences with the snobby staff and constant unauthorized transactions made to my account. I live less than a mile from it and only came in to accompany my friend for her tan. Im happy to say that the staff has changed and the experience was better than any I have had at any tanning facility. Very welcome surprise. The store was very busy at the time and I thought it was going to be another bad experience. The employee behind the counter was alone but he handled the rush of us very well and quick. I was impressed. I havent seen that kind of professionalism at any work place in a long time. I assumed Mika was the new manager based on his efficiency and was surprised to find out that he was the newest employee. He was awesome. He even mediated the atmosphere of a few customers who were less than polite, getting them to smile and eventually relaxed the mood. Hats off to Mika. Im not sure if any of the old staff Im used to still reside but I will definitely becoming back to him when my current tanning package at another salon is finished. Thank you Mika! You were an absolute delight!!!

There is no towers, they fix the washer since 1.5 month . Usually the spray tan doesn’t work !Also there is no chance listen a good music because it’s also doesn’t work !!!

I signed up right before they renovated, I saw the reviews on yelp and unlike them, I was informed they were closing down for a month or two and that they had a location in. WEHO which wasnt that much of an inconvenience, because I was switching from darque tan around the corner.. . Not that big of a deal, and now they have ALL NEW staff since they renovated. Everyone is actually nice and friendly, especially since they fired the bitchy blonde girl who acted like she hated life and clearly had no respect for fellow staff or customers. Aside from the friendly staff and nice new beds, is right next to my gym and veggie grill... I walk here and appreciate the convenience =)
