When my parents recommended Duo, at first, I was a bit skeptical, but thought to give it try. I attended speed dating event. Surprisingly, the event was completely full, lots of single people, including Korean-Americans came to the event. It was classy, comfortable and fun atmosphere. I made good friends, had a great time there. Right now, I am so glad that I become a member of the Duo. I dont have much prior experience to compare to. However, my experience at Duo has been great.

Definitely an experienced establishment with excellent couple managers who genuinely care about their members.

Jennifer promised plenty of matches, yet there are hardly any once she took my money.I thoroughly explained my preferences, but they dont seem to care or they barely have any members. And my standards are not high at all.They just left me in the dark for weeks without any update.Later they pressured me to go on a date with someone who was completely off of my preference or told me my time will be up and end the service right away.I spend thousands of dollars for almost non-existent service.Total waste of time and money!

I met someone I really like through Duo so overall, I have had a very positive experience. I see some other reviewers think its an utter waste of money and time; I guess it doesnt work out for everyone. But for marriage, all you need ultimately is ONE good match (not dozens or even 7) and Duo delivered, at least in my case. I am not aware of any other matching service that can introduce me to marriage-minded single professionals from across the U.S. who share my ethnicity and cultural background. Duo has eligible singles whom you will never be able to meet through your social circle or by joining mainstream dating services, even if they have membership bases that are incomparably larger than Duos. All I know is that I would not have met her if it werent for Duo. Obviously, Duo should be able to provide even better matching services if more people joined and expanded the pool. Discouraging others from joining and wanting to shut it down altogether is not very productive and I might even say it is something of a disservice to the community. I normally dont write online reviews but just wanted to put in my five cents in this case.
