Chris and the staff at Funeraria del Angel did a stellar job of handling our need when my father passed away. They were informative, kind, understanding, and compassionate. Covid changed a lot of things about how services are conducted, but all things considered, they made us comfortable, and made a hard situation easier. The prices were great (we did an a la carte service, not a package, FYI) and we felt like my father and all of our family and friends were treated with respect and compassion. I would highly recommend this funeral home for any need you may have, current or future. I couldnt be happier with the way everything turned out.

Lizett Powell is the the one who helped me out in our time of grief. She was polite and amazing working with me. I want to say that this is not the first time we or other family members did business with this establishment. Did a amazing job considering how things were with this damn virus going on. Says it is under construction😱. It is very filthy outside, trash all over and the exterior is run down. Funerals are held in a tent with a port o potty 🤢Not a pleasant place to have a funeral especially when you are already grieving. Stay away from here, spend your money elsewhere.Update: Also, see that there are other locations, why did you not offer to have our loved ones prepaid funeral at one of your other locations instead of taking her money and having it in your parking lot. You took advantage of a family who was grieving.

My mother passed suddenly in late October related to Covid-19. I was searching for an affordable place where I could have a small service with a few guests. Funeraria Del Angel Lincoln Heights was recommended to me by a family member. They offered a great package deal and quickly I was allowed to arrange the services. The staff was so accommodating of my needs, my mothers last wishes and were very professional in helping plan the services and details. They answered any and all questions I had, helped resolve any problems and staff was so considerate during my time of grief. Most importantly I was allowed to have a socially distanced outdoor service with a few family & friends. I would definitely recommend their services.

I have been waiting for a return call from diana for over 3 weeks. Still no cal seems like they just want to get their money and disappear i had a conversation with one of the receptionist chris i told him we were missing items from my dads service and. That i also wanted to order necklaces and still no answer. Also waiting on his death certificate and no updates whatsoever very bad customer service. I understand they are a little busy but im sure they get our messages and just ignore them.

This was a very hard time for us it was a big big thing loosing my mother ❤️ Especially knowing she wasn’t sick and to us had no illnesses the Funeral Del Ángel was there for us they went out of there way to make sure we had everything they stood open times when they should have been close just to get all things needed Lupe went out of her way to make us comfortable and always would call just to see if we needed anything and Liz had so much patience with my frustrated personality she always had a smile and never said no. We are so great full for them being there thank all of them I will always recommend them.

Del Angel was very helpful in fulfilling my aunts Last Wishes everything at her service was very beautiful down to the color of nail polish on her nails they did a great job my aunt look like that she was sleeping and they explained everything to us step by step I never had to do anything like this before and if I have to do it again I would choose Del Angel because there were very professional and caring thank you very much Liz thank you for being caring and so helpful on putting together such a beautiful service for my aunt I appreciate you and everything you guys did for her thank you

In this very difficult time we don’t know what to do, where to begin, how will accept the truth that my mom passed away. It is very very difficult.Then we found this place, a person who we can trust to who deserves to have a 5 star rating. We are very thankful for Ms. Lupe who helped us in everything. We didn’t even felt worried or anything, knowing that there is a person who knows what you will need, who is willing to help our family. The Documents that we may need to bring our mon to the Philippines and the Urn was turned over to us in expected date. My father had Stage 4 lung cancer. He developed pneumonia and could not recover. So, although we knew our father had a terminal illness, it still caught us by surprise when he died. We thought we would have time to say our goodbyes. Our family was in distress, shock, and grieving.We chose Funeraria Del Angel in Lincoln Heights because we had used this mortuary before and had a good experience.Lupe, Eddie, and Chris enveloped us with support, care, and love.Eddie kept saying we were family and thats exactly the way we felt.Every detail for my father was taken care of with empathy and love. Even at the last minute, the morning of our service, I remembered something I forgot. Such great service, I felt like the staff truly cared about us and treated us like family, not just customers.

We will eternally be greatfull with the services provided to our family by Funeraria Del Angel in Lincoln Heights my hometown. They helped us through the whole process and accomodated to our needs as we requested for my passing mother as she would have wanted them. The transition of my family loosing our Mother Jovita Acosta was very hard and will be hard to superseed her loss but they met all our expectation during our greaving. I was a little dissapointed that services were set up.Then we had to change them do to that my moms body was not released from coroners for a few days. As far as the priest, to much of a jokester my family is old school tradition. Not serious. Love the remodeling of funeral home. Needs more but getting there. Tony and staff were great.

Unfortunately, I did not have the same fate as the other people who have treated them as I think they deserve, that is why one pays for the services. I understand that because of the pandemic they are very busy but it is an injustice that they give one an appointment to The two weeks that a loved one died and they did not give me the necessary information, I was talking to Lizeth for about three days And since they did not answer me either by phone or by email, I personally came to the funeral home and a very despotic lady comes out with her last name Mendoza telling me that she has a person on the phone because she has a loved one receiving dead in the house I tell her my aunt has been here with you for three weeks And they havent even told me what Im going to use for services the first thing is done to me unfair because one pays And what we are asking is not free I just wanted the information I have already spoken with three different people and no one has told me in conclusion neither the day nor what I occupy for them. cios of my aunt🤨
