WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.1. This car company is not located at San Juan airport.2. The office doesn’t even have air conditioning.3. I waited first for one hour and at the end they asked me to come back because there were not cars available. They advices me to come three hours later. I did come three hours later. They made me wait two more hours because “the system was down”In an office filled with sweated and frustrated customers because it was sooo hot and everybody was passing through the same.4. I paid 60 usd in Uber rides since they didn’t have the cars ready.5. Even though they asked me to come at 7:00 pm and my reservation was at 6:30 pm they were playing the game of “you didn’t come at 6:30 pm so you lost your booking”6. Finally the manager game name a car and he was insinuating pushing me to get the full coverage insurance when it should be optional.7. At the time of the return at the hot office with no AC they didn’t have vans to transport me to the airport so I needed to take another Uber. 15 usd more.8. No one could take me in the car that I just returned as a complementar service. This company sucks.... and the customer service level is sooooo poor
In some cases you get MORE than what you pay for. These days it’s all about customer experience and U-Save knows how to provide excellent service. Occasionally, a car has an issue. When my rental did U-Save did the right thing and made things right. I’m 100% satisfied with how they handled things and will absolutely rent from them in the future.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. If I could give a minus 100 stars to this place I would. This was by far the worst rental experience I ever had. I rented a 14 passenger van from this location and it was by far the worst van I ever drove. The steering wheel was so wobbly you have to keep steering 30 degrees left and anther 30 degrees right at all time to keep it going straight. I had friends coming from around the states to go to Coachella for a friends birthday and couldn’t find another alternative for the time being since all other companies were completely sold out. So I drove it to Palm Springs. When I was half way and it started to get super hot a decided to turn on the AC to find out that it’s not even working. Blowing straight hot air. So I called the office and told them about what happened. Seriously this van felt like an oven by the time I got to Palm Springs. After few phone calls with U-Save office it was a mutual decision to take it to a mechanic in Coachella on the day after (Saturday ) to get this issue fixed. So after looking all over I finally found a mechanic that was open and has time to fix it but he over charged me because he was the only one available and he knew it. Finally got the van fixed and was able to drive back to LA. Gave them all the receipt and paperwork and U-Save employee said that they would reimburse me for that mechanic bill. But it’s been over a year now and still haven’t received anything. Called a couple times and they keep shuffling me around. WORST CAR. WORST MANAGEMENT. WORST BUSINESS ETHICS. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE..... I might have to take them to court to get my money back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
Used to be a chain car rental agency customer. Used to be. When I rent, I simply need a reliable inexpensive car to get me from here to there. U-Save is a few blocks from my house, so its easy. It beat the best price I was quoted at a major agency 3 blocks north of them. Nice friendly staff. Must knock and wait a moment for the LA Cienega-facing door to open, its locked for their safety and their customers. I was a walk-in, so my car wasnt pristine but I didnt care. It wouldnt have been fair to expect that as I walked in literally during their workers lunch hour. For the good price and convenience alone, it was a fair deal. U-Save? I saved. 😁
U-Save is located inside a paid parking companies parking lot (Wally Express). They dont have their own shuttle, so you have to be sure to look in the fine print when you book your car rental. You also get to deal with going back and forth to get vouchers from Wally Express to leave with your rental car. The workers were nice but they require a huge deductible and without telling you before hand they require proof of liability insurance. I paid with a business credit card that covers liability, but they refused to believe me. So then I got to call up my insurance company to obtain proof, luckily they were open... They also dont fill the gas tanks on the cars. So when you bring it back, you have to fill it up to where it was before (1/4 full). Good luck guessing how much gas to put in. I wont use U-Save again.
These folks were really nice, professional and straight forward. Being from Kansas, they made me feel welcomed to the city of Los Angeles and even gave me tips. If I were to visit again I would hope to come back here for my rental.
I called to get pricing on a truck and was told that they have no trucks available. That I can accept. But then I asked if I could get pricing, just in case one came back in the next couple of days. I was then told they only have passenger vans. I tried to ask if they are still in the business of renting trucks and the only response is that they dont have any in their fleet. I was very confused and would recommend that you dont waste your time contacting them for any information unless you want to be left confused and with a headache.
I have rented from U-Save many times and have been bryond pleased each and every time. I highly recommend using U-Save for all of your car rental needs.
Terrible, I wish I would have paid the extra money to go to Hertz or Budget. They require all these documents and deposits from you but dont tell you beforehand. Jarmel helped me and was very patient while I made phone calls to accommodate their rediculous requirements, but when I suggested making all their demands clear to customers, the gentleman behind the counter proceeded to argue with me and basically get me to stop talking. Dont bother.
Never rent from this company. They charge you a deposit for rental and they wont pay you back. When I contacted headquaters they told me off and suggested that I should dispute the charges. I tried to dispute it, but still they did not return my deposit. So, instead of saving money on this car rental I actually lost my deposit and lost lot of time trying to get my money back. I also read numerious reviews on Yelp and other sites that I am not the only one. Toxic freaken company, stay away and tell your friends. THEY DO IT TO EVERYBODY. And even if it is afranchise, would I rent a car from same companys different franchise after experience like that? Never. It is better to deal with more reputable company. I learned my lesson.
After booking a month in advance, they called me an hour before my reservation that they don’t have any cars available.
