We just wrapped up an engagement with Krista and the LLA team. They helped us through a particularly tricky ABC Type 20 permit for our new campground business due to a few LLCs and investors involved, a unique land ownership situation, and the need to buy a license from someone else and use an escrow process. Krista was incredible from the first phone call, all the way to today, weeks after our permit came in, when she checked in to make sure we had received everything. And in between, she would call, text, or email almost every week, even if there was nothing to report, just to tell us that things were in progress. She helped us with all the steps that we had no idea even existed - getting fingerprinted, setting up notary appointments during COVID, adjusting our Operating Agreement...you name it. We had considered doing it ourselves. After all, it was just filling out some paperwork we thought. Nope. Glad we used LLA. And I found them by doing a Google search and then reading the glowing reviews there and on Yelp. We took over the famous Serenata de Garibaldi restaurant in Boyle Heights who had a beer and wine license. We hired Liquor License Agent to help us upgrade to full 47 liquor license. It was a tough process to say the least, having to update our CUP, and go through Public Hearings and the Citys Zoning Administration first, and then dealing with ABC, not to mention obtaining a liquor license. Further, getting a full Liquor License in Boyle Heights was very hard, because of the history of neglect and disinvestment in the neighborhood, and a full liquor license was frowned upon by many in the community. But in the end, in no small part thanks to Mike, Rob and their team, we were able to receive community support and received our license. Further they were very responsive, almost always picked up the phone, and if not would always respond within 24 hours. Best of all, they were pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend.
