While staying a few days visiting in-laws, I decided to get a hair cut. Walked in, sat down. Small place but well-kept. Owner cut my hair.I dont recall him ever using a scissor: it was just a comb and trimmer the whole way. Which made me a little concerned. From past experience, hair cutters who relied a lot on using a comb as a guide for their trimmer were not very competent. On the other hand, some who used scissors almost exclusively were awful, too. Also, the owner kept the hair off me by stopping several times to clean me up. Seemed odd at the time but it did make for a more pleasant experience.Anyway, I got the very best hair cut that Ive had in years. I didnt know this immediately afterwards. (I never do unless the cut really really sucks. Usually I smile and nod and say, Great and over tip without even knowing for sure. I usually have to wash it before having a sense of the quality of the cut.)In a couple days, I was heading for Portland, OR to attend a wedding so it was nice not to have add gel. Highly recommend this place.

Ive been coming to this place since the church across the street was a movie theater. This is a goodol fashion barber shop, no fancy coffee, no cocktails, heck not even WiFi but they will lower your ears and raise your standards when it comes to a haircut.Good place, great people...fair prices. Go get cleaned up.

I have been going here for years and highly recommend it. The entire crew that owns and works there is really friendly and fun to chat with. I have had every barber there cut my hair multiple times and I love that I can feel completely comfortable knowing that any barber that cuts my hair at Eagle Rock Barber Shop is going to do a great job and help me look fantastic.

Good place for haircut for men, women and kids. Street parking only but never a problem. Clean facility, clean restroom available, friendly professional staff and very affordable prices.

Came here to get my haircut, unfortunately my regular barber wasnt around. Another barber who talked to me was very rude,I think it was his younger brother. I was happy coming in to get my haircut but this Ahole.He was very confrontational and just a mean person. I will never come back here again because of you. Needless to say, I tip very well. I hope he reads this or my barber. I will never come to a place like this again.

Family owned and very old school - Juan and his brothers are the absolute best in Eagle Rock. Ive been coming here for 11 years and wouldnt go anywhere else.
