The place is ok, way better than most self-storage places in the vicinity, but we had a break-in at the beginning of the pandemic and amid the lockdowns and noone was able to help us with the insurance, so weve lost $300.

They raise the price after 6 months but they don’t mention that when you move in of course. It’s a clean facility and carts are available. Parking is available. One time another renter got on the elevator with me and I received a chastising phone call from the resident staff warning me not to let other ppl on the elevator w/me. I’m not a security guard and this was a stranger so it was pretty annoying. The staff’s helpfulness varies. Not the best not the worst, just ok.

Staff is friendly. Reason for just 4 stars is that there are people living in the units at night. Do I know? Because I knew one of them who was living there. And he tried to sell me a TV that he got from one of the units. They have chicken wire on top of all the units. He was able to bend it down and have someone crawl in and take it out!

I just got my storage unit this past weekend, on Saturday the 31st so it was pretty crazy there. Lots of trucks, lots of people and I still had paperwork to fill out. Thank goodness Hector was there, he took care of everything and everyone. Hector was working all by himself that day doing the job of at least 5 people. Most people would get pissed or stressed yet he was still one of the friendliest people Ive met out here in CA. Even when the server went down and he couldnt process my paperwork, he still was able to keep calm and friendly while thinking quickly about how to help everyone who was waiting. Hector, you rock!With this being said, this storage facility could really use some extra hands. As awesome as Hector is, there should probably be more people on staff to help everyone who comes in especially when there are people paying for movers and want to get their stuff in/out of the unit as fast as possible. I did wait for way longer than necessary to move in and I had even come in the previous week to speed up the process and fill out info before. Even without paying for movers, I wanted to get this stuff moved in fast and not wait around for long periods of time. If there were at least three people there the experience probably would have been a lot faster and more efficient for all involved. Its just ridiculous that one person is responsible for processing paperwork, showing people their unit, and helping others with any other need they have. Hector is great at juggling jobs but come on, no one can expect one person to do 4 things all at once.

Best place ever! I came in and talked to Celine, the store manager, about a storage space. She was very patient in showing me the different sizes and explaining all my options. When I was there, she helped other existing customers as if they were guest in her house. After meeting her, you know you can trust this place. Also the storage spaces are very clean and the price is great too!

Celine was so great! This was my first time renting a storage space. I reserved online then came it. It was simple, thorough, fast! I got here st the end of the day and she greeted me as if it was the start of the day. Took her time, wasn’t rushed. I am please as I thought this wld be more of a hassle. It wasn’t at all.

Im relocating to LA, but I made the decision in stages - which meant I had some temporary storage needs. At Extra Space, I was able to reserve a space online, which qualified me for a great rate. Upon arrival, though, Celine and Gabriel showed me a few different sized units, and helped me realize that I didnt need as much space as I thought. So they moved the reservation to a smaller unit, saving me even more money. The whole process was quick and easy, and Celine and Gabriel were really helpful and knowledgeable.

I was really impressed by the service here. The manager, Celine is really good at her job and adds a great personal touch. I had to store stuff while I was living away from LA for a few years; it was very convenient and Celine helped my brother check on my stuff for me when there was a flood on my floor. Nothing was harmed, the bathroom here is even clean. I 100% recommend this facility.

I came to Extra Space Storage the day before I needed a 10x10 unit to store prop and set dressing pieces for a film I just wrapped. I cannot adequately put into words how incredibly helpful Hector was in giving the whole breakdown of how Extra Space works. He answered every question I had respectfully and was so great to work with. He was able to give me the one month free discount on my 10x10 unit out of the goodness of his heart and that truly makes a difference when it comes to customer service. He gave me solid advice, was very easy to communicate with, and even took the time to get to know me as a person. When you stop by Extra Space, talk to Hector for whatever it is that you need because I guarantee that he will take care of you. My order was pretty last minute and I needed quick cooperation. Hector stepped up and gave me the best deal I could find (way better pricing and service overall than Public Storage...I compared rates, deals, and service between the two). I had never booked my own storage unit before and I feel like Hector was an angel sent from Heaven for me haha. Extremely courteous, cares about the customer, and is able to answer any question you may have. I havent had a chance to talk to Ben much, but I know for a fact that you are in good hands if you talk to Hector. I dont see any reason why I would ever use Public Storage or any other business as I find it hard to believe that any other place would offer the competitive rates and extraordinary customer service that Extra Space has offered me.

Doing errands with an associate he made a stop off at Extra Space Storage at 1860 N. Vine St. Upon our arrival we encountered a representative by the name of Celine. During our visit Celine displayed extreme patience, helpfulness and professionalism. She went above and beyond to assist with whatever was needed, so much so that I interjected and said to her that she had been the most polite and courteous person I had encountered during 2017. Great and fast service provided by Celine. Thanks to the storage manager Celine who provided me great and fast service. I found the space where I can put my belongings for a month or two. She was very nice and helpful, she helped me find the best unit not only in size but also in price. The place itself is secured with code panel, each time you need get inside storage you will type password provided by a storage manager. It is my second time using this storage, I am really satisfied with provided service and the facility. Keep up great work Celine, and thank you for your help!

Great location and easy access all at a good value... Celine helped me determine which space would be best for my needs and called me as soon as it became available. Celine, Suzie, and Lew have been absolutely wonderful! We have had several units and parking spaces at this location for a couple of years now. While the management prior to those mentioned above were friendly, I can say that I now feel safe at this unit (as a 120 pound 5 foot nothing girl). The difference between the condition of the location before the new management and how it is now is night and day. The bathroom, elevator, and hallways are always clean and fresh smelling. I am not an easy client to work with as I had several packages delivered per day. Suzie and Celine were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this storage unit to friends and family.

These people are just so nice. My friend had used this storage for many years, and when he died, they were very accommodating to his next of kin regarding timing, and what to do with stuff that was basically trash.The place is clean, clean, clean, and has ample lighting so you can see your stuff. There are elevators and hand trucks available for you to use. There is also a small trash receptacle on the lower level.

She even let me reserve the promo pricing till the next day while I was making up my mind, even though there were no promos available the next day when I went back in. All my questions and concerns were answered honestly. The facility itself is pretty much in line with what I expect for the area and the price was very reasonable, especially with the promo.
