Ive been doing business with Avos office for over 20 years and I could not be happier. They are old-school responsive professionals in a way rarely encountered in these days of prompts and holds. You can actually speak with live office personnel who recognize you and are sympathetic to your concerns. They go out of their way to make you feel heard well taken care of. These guys are the BEST! You truly are in good hands here. I highly recommend them.

When I have had a hypothetical question about coverage or cost they have responded promptly. That is very important to me and I am sure many other buy professional people appreciate the same level of responsive service.

This agency is not upfront about fees and premiums. Didn’t tell me about a rate increase, mislead me on my charges when adding a car to my policy, and when confronted about it, stated they don’t make those kind of mistakes at their agency.Even though I ended up talking to the agent (Joy) who gave me incorrect information and she ADMITTED to it, Avo then banned me from speaking with her again.Avo yelled at me at told me I had been given too much help the past few days and that I was not allowed to call their office anymore. He hung up on me multiple times and told me if I didn’t like it, too bad, in his words: “what are you going to do about it”.I’m trying to get answers on my bill that they have been misleading on. But they get incredibly defensive because again, “they don’t make those mistakes, and if they did, what are you going to do about it?”After being hung up on for the third time, they just told me if I don’t like it, go somewhere else.Thanks, Allstate. I really feel like I’m in good hands.

I have had insurance with Avo for several years. I would not typically take my time to complain about a business unless it was unbearable. I recently had to make a claim and had several issues with it but received no assistance from Avo. In my opinion he is close to retiring and doesnt care about feedback from a customer. Avo handles difficult situations defensively and is extreemely unprofessional with limited ability. I would also say he doesnt care about individual customers business as has he as over 2k customers in his words. I am a regular person and am no big company but I did have: full auto (multiple cars); home owners; home owners earthquake; landlords; landlords earthquake policies with him. I used to have auto with him but was dissatisfied with his assistance and canceled (I should have taken all my business away) but didnt move my other policies because I like the office staff. When I had this claim I was given misinformation letting me know that my policy was in effect. I proceeded with my claim and was notified until a week later there was an issue (the mortgage company hadnt paid in time as my insurance is impounded). I wasnt even contacted by Avo that I had an issue as this is a much larger problem, again he doesnt care about customer service. So I called Allstate to make a complaint and with their new system it automatically transfers you to the agent. I fortunately got a hold of Avo directly. He answered the phone and I asked if this is my agent Avo (since I didnt know Allstate automatically transfered) and he responded defensively telling me that he was offended. I will say that I was also offended that his office told me that I was covered when I was not. I strongly suggest that you do not deal with this agent there are several others who actually appreciate you as a customer and know how to treat their customers with respect.
