It took about an hour to get everyone into the theatre for a sold out show but it was worth the wait for Andrew Schulz.
This is a beautiful old art deco theater on Broadway in downtown L.A. A wonderful place to see a concert. No bad seats on the ground floor but better toward the center (as always). The front of the balcony is also great. A bit of an echo further up. The staff here are friendly and not aggressive as in some venues. The only complaint I have is the small bathrooms in the upper level. Much better in the basement. Another great concert!
You have to give this cinema house a try! The movie in this theater was breathtaking and awesome. I felt very relaxed and nice every time I watched a movie about this movie, so why? Since their service was good and it was comfortable in their place. It was the ideal movie theater for a family who would like to watch movies. Fantastic facilities and highly recommended!
Awesome venue, awesome show. The bathroom situation is ridiculous, and not in a good way. Theres a 2,000 person capacity, and I say a toilet for every 375 people. Its nuts. To add onto that we went to GET, and it was 90% old dudes (and theres nothing wrong with that and it is realistically to be expected), but I encountered a lot of really in appropriate bathroom behavior both myself and my compadre experienced (Im talking eye contact one on one conversations, and shaking after peeing, and Im talking like 10 shakes before I, in horror, backed away.
Such a beautiful venue. I am a huge fan of architecture and this place is at the pinnacle of it. The stage boxes were my favorite because it really gives the upper echelon feel. The room felt cozy and made for a more intimate energy. On the outskirts, the hallways had beautiful carpeting and trim. Such a great place to be in
Beautiful theater pretty much every seat has a good view except left orchestra M,N and O seats starting with seats numbered 43 and on... there is an obstruction ( camera man on stage) that will cover your whole view after reporting it to the manager we were given better seats with a great view all staff were friendly and kind
The theater is gorgeous and there is no bad seat. There is plenty of parking in the area. I parked at a lot at 9th and Hill that was $10 for the night I went (a Wednesday). The theater served alcohol (Im not sure if this varies based on the event) and you could take it into the theater. There are lots of great restaurants in walking distance, and the theater is handicap accessible.
Took my mom to see Adrian Uribe and Consuelo Duval, what a gorgeous place but the security guards were a little too strict, we were told not to take our phones out or they would have to take them away... I paid hundreds for this early Christmas present for my mom and see these two amazing actors just to be told this? That’s not how it should be, but it is what it is....
A grand theatre! Just breathtaking! It is really amazing how a place like this can be restored and its really awesome!
Great concert and beautiful venue
Parking is... well, its L.A. so just know its a mess and expensive. If you use a parking app, you might be able to get close to $10, and nearby. The venue itself is fantastic, great sound and a nice size for small-medium size performances. The layout is good, didnt seem to be a bad seat in the house. Very few places to eat or drink nearby; one option, although expensive, is to park at L.A. Live and take a 15 minute walk to the Orpheum before your event.Still, all things considered, the place is very well done, staff is nice and helpful, and beverages are quick to service.
Went to see the Romanian national ballet this theater is beautifully restored inside
Incredible find in LA by LA live. Amazing sound, intimate setting and incredibly talented acts. Thank you Brothers Osborne for letting us join you for an afternoon.
Beautiful ornate theatre.
RuPaul’s DragCon 2018 is everything!!!!
Historic beautiful theater in the middle of downtown Los Angeles. Super friendly staff. Everyone does a great job. Comfortable seats in an old classic theater. Always welcome the opportunity to see a stage show here
Beautiful theater in a great location to shoot
Luxurious experience I’ll never forget!
A classic Beaux Arts theater converted into a small concert venue. Comfortable, good acoustics, and visually spectacular. Ive seen several concerts here and enjoyed them all.
I attended a church service called Hillsong Los Angeles and it was amazing! Im giving it 4 stars only because of the awful parking experience.
A great venue for music! Its historic, beautiful, and not overly large. Saw Box Scaggs and had a great time.
Had a awesome time watching Set It Off😍 It was an amazing experience....
Excellent venue, we purchased tickets through a 3rd party, which we were excited to see Lauren Daigle, but two people obstructed out view, but an User accommodated us, TY to the Orpheum staff❤😊👍🏻👍🏻
Great concert from Kansas!
The decor of this Building is spot on. Very organized staff and The seats are comfortable. What more could you ask for?
Historic theater with excellent accoustics.
Great time as usual
Great event venue!
Great place, I have actually perform their with Metroexpress
What a beautiful theatre!
It was very easy to find and to find parking close by the theater. It was a decent size inside the building and sound quality was good to hear the performers.
The theater is very nicely renovated but the seats are far too close together if youre over 6 ft tall youll catch hell
Great venue that always has great acts, beautiful art deco design everywhere you look! Clean bathrooms too
It’s a classic, historic, elegant theater. The theater and adjoining rooms and lobby make you feel like you are in a 1930’s movie. Quite a pleasant and fancy experience. It was lovely being here for a tv filming. Downtown Los Angeles at its best.
Great venue!
The seats are tiny people do get ready for that. And get ready to get your steps in if you are sitting up top and have to go to the bathroom. Otherwise, its got an old architecture still up and it looks cool. So if youre into that then its dope. So if someone you like is there Id go, but leave early because parking will sell out quick sip dont show up last minute.
The theater was set up on the occasion of the Pornhub Awards of which we were nominated and invited so we lived it in all aspects and environments. The lounge and entrance halls are well-kept and have two parking spaces right next to the hall. Fifth area and dressing rooms are well cleaned and have ample space for all production settings. The bar area is also well structured and well served.
Was very impressed at the sound quality. If you are looking for concert ticket, I would strongly suggest Mezzanine level of available, seats were still quite close and upstairs away from the general crowd. The upstairs bar stays pretty quiet as well.
Beautiful venue, Most seats are going to give a great view of the stage. Plenty of opportunities to grab a drink from the bars or the cocktail staff going up and down the aisles. Restrooms are downstairs but there is an elevator for anyone with disabilities. Very friendly, helpful staff at The Squeeze show I attended.
Amazing place so beautifularchitect
Loved it i was at work
This is a beautiful, old, restored theatre in the heart of Downtown L.A on Broadway. If you ever get a chance to see it, definitely take the time to do so, especially if its for an event/concert. The acoustics are amazing, & theres not a bad seat in the house. We recently perused in to check it out during the Night on Broadway event. I loved seeing all the antique architecture & building materials and style. We went all the way to the top floor, & sat in the back row. We could see and hear the band that was playing on stage as clear as could be,. It was perfect!
This venue is beautiful, but the seats are very close together. You feel like you are on an airplane. The parking is next door and it is cash only, so be prepared or you will have to drive around the block looking for an ATM. It was $10. The venue was very nice and clean. We sat in the balcony and had an excellent view. There were also balcony seats on each side that only seat a few people in each section. I dont know if those seats are available to the public or if those are family and friends seats only, but if you could get those seats I think they would be the best because you would not be so close to so many people. I would imagine theyre probably more expensive though.
Good venue. Good acoustics. You can see the act well no matter where you sit.
A bit rundown, but still grand-looking inside
This is a beautifully restored theater, almost 100 years old. Seats are newer and comfortable, although leg room is a bit snug. Saw a classic Hitchcock film, visited the Orpheum Club where you can enjoy a bite, a drink, a bit of company. Parking is nearby in various lots or on the street.
Great venue to see a show. One of the few venues on Broadway still in operation. Very good shows on the schedule for the year.I really like the size of this venue. Not too big and your are a comfortable distance from the artist. The seats are not too crazy vertical either like in some venues.
Always a favorite!
One of LAs architectural gems, built in 1926, its befitting of the roaring 20s. Come for the show, stay for the architecture.
Had a great experience at my first time to the venue. Great bar areas and enjoyed the classic architecture and style of the theater. Saw The National perform and enjoyed the sound quality and the lighting. Will definitely be back for another show!
