Just had my birthday party at The Shatto Hall on Slauson ave, I had an Amazing experience.The walk thru with the manager was professional, courteous and attentive..The hall was breath-takingly Beautiful. Italian chandeliers, mirrors everywhere, marble, and a large dance floor. My birthday was Perfect!!! My guests and I had an awesome time and I would recommend The Shatto to anyone who wants their event to be in an elegant setting.

Nice place. The reception was wonderful. But there were small glass on the dance. One guest was cut and started bleeding. Then, a kid found piece of the Chandler on the ground.

Had a baby shot here, they need to seriously set mouse traps and exterminate. There was dropping in the fridge and a mouse hanging out in the trash in the bathroom. Other than that the place was clean and neat. Its whatever you make it. I just dont do mice.

This is a beautiful place! Plenty of room, very clean, fabulous lighting reflecting off the surrounded wall of mirrors. Not to mention the exquisite sound of Bose speakers will have the party bumpin.The Shatto Banquet Hall will be a spectacular experience leaving memories for a lifetime.

So want to do it big but not balling as. Shorts is top notch for ballers too sounds like stone love haggard crew and all hi fi that travels. Elegant spacious and comfortable vibe a1 security makes a smooth night or morning or just a baby shower or any gathering. Beautifully decorated, highly organized. A wonderful place to have any event from birthday parties, anniversaries or wedding receptions. I went recently there to a birthday party that was fabulous. Bartender was wonderful all drinks were free the food was catered the DJ was the bomb it was excellent and I highly recommend this place for any event you would love to have.

It was decorated beautifully inside. The parking is very small. I really didnt like the location. Its a hot zone.

I had my graduation party at the Shatto Banquet Hall and I wanted to share that it was lovely. The owner was very professional and kind. She answered all my questions to time and also worked within my budget to get everything I wanted. I highly recommend this hall for parties and special events. The hall is so elegant and beautifully lighted for the perfect ambiance.

Awesome venue. 2 private parking and lots of street parking. Very beautiful inside with the mirrors and Chandelier. Multiple stalls in both men and women’s restroom, outside patio. Was there for an event this past Friday.

I was therefore a memorial service the place is nice clean the bathrooms are nice only problem was you cant use the stove and they had no microwave I probably would recommend this place to rent

Had my neices quinceañera there a while back and the lady there was so sweet! She made sure that we were happy with the hall and she even gave us tips on how the decorations would look best! For my next large party, I would definitely come back here.

Very unprofessional. Only issue a receipt when you make a deposit. No record is kept of how often you make payments to the owner if you dont have your original receipt. If you try to schedule a meeting with her, you have to be ready within 20-30mins. The day if my event, another client was there she chose to have a meeting with while my vendors were there to set up for my wedding reception. Very unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone

This is the second year that I have held an event at the Shatto Banquet Hall! The area is locally convenient for family & friends & it is moderately priced. The hall is always nice & clean and they have made some BEAUTIFUL upgrades since my first event! They have two parking lots for the convenience of your guest and can arrange your events details down to the table-cloths! I have read most reviews about the Shatto & I must say dont be fooled by the firm exterior, they are personable & accomodating . The Shatto will always be my go to hall due to; Beauty, Convenience, Price, and Flexibility! It is always what you make it! I LOVE THE SHATTO!

Terrible terrible terrible. Didnt do anything right, we payed for a lot of things and they didnt do it right. We asked for 10 chairs on each table and they only gave us 8. The food arrived late, the toilet clogged up, they didnt put the numbers on the table, and there was only one security guard instead of the 2. They didnt ask for what kind of food we wanted, they didnt give us enough food so people were starving. Just terrible, wouldnt recommend it.

This place has rats. The health department needs to shut it down.

Selfish, unconcerned and unprofessional from the beginning. I called for general information and the owner told me I had to come in to gather basic information, I ask for a website she had none but could provide me information in person at the hall. we made an appointment, I got to the hall and the janitor was cleaning but the owner was no where to be found. I called her from the hall and she had NO remorseful telling me she had to go get some supplies WTF just blatant disregard for our appointment. She apologized and asked if we can reschedule the appointment however, after reading the reviews this seems to be her normal operation. I strongly recommend the owner hires a professional manager to manage this venue to improve business and be successful. HORRIBLE!

My wife and I,love this shatto . We would recommend the shatto banquet hall, its a very Beautiful place, some friends of our had their wedding reception there, the place was simply Gorgeous, it had plenty parking, across the street parking as well, and the owner was very Friendly and professional. Planning my next party there.

Our first visit wasnt to pleasant, there were 4 different parties waiting to be seen, appointments were double booked. I spoke with the owner/property manager days before the event to see if I could visit the hall to go over the setup and was told that the staff came down to do the setup already based off the amount for the event. On the day of the event, there were chairs and tables everywhere. My staff and I had to take tables and chairs out into there storage area, which was a covered patio just outside of the mens room. As we were pulling other tables needed for the event, we noticed mouse feces along the edges of the tables. I mentioned the issue to the owner and she stated that she couldnt control what goes on outside,So my staff had to get gloves so that we could complete the setup. There was a heart shaped table at the front door, that we used for the reception table, to find alot more mouse feces. The owner came and did a poor sweeping job to remove the feces from the area. I questioned if there was a infestation issue and she stated that the a exterminator I told the owner who ever did the cleaning did a poor job and she stated that they do there best. Also as were decorating she had scheduled appointments, during our decorating time and they were sitting at the tables we needed to decorate and never mentioned that a group of 10 kids were coming to do a quick rehearsal for a quinceanera which lasted over 45min, just a total Inconvenience. As Im decorating the owner decides to tell me she needed to leave the keys to the building for me to lock up and leave in the mailbox, which seemed to be alot of responsibility, but I went along with the plan, now once we were done with the decor. I went to the ladies room, to find more feces on the floor and again I had to have the owner come and clean up this nasty mess. There were no paper towels in the bathrooms, no trash cans anywhere in the building, but the dumpster out back, no trash bags, so we had to go to the store to purchase those, because they didnt have any. The bar area smelled horrible, so we had to buy airfreshener to mask the odor. The room started heating up, I had to call the owner to come back and turn on the air. By the middle of the day everything was just beautiful as far as the event. The event ended at 6pm, so we started cleaning up while guest were finishing up looking at gifts. By 7pm we were taking out the trash finishing up and most of the guest were already gone thank God!!!. My staff member and I took out the last bag of trash before locking up, as we were headed back to enter the kitchen door, there was a huge rat in the middle of the kitchen floor. Omg!! I lost my mind, ran through the side door where the storage area was trying to make it to the front door to get the hell out of there and my other staff member told me she seen a small mouse by the bar area going into the kitchen. By then we made it to the front door to notice we did not turn off the lights in the kitchen. As were looking at the kitchen my staff member yells Omg!! There was another rat jumping on the counter where we originally had pans of food, By then I was done. My staff members husband came in and turned off the other lights for me, but after seeing the size of that 2nd rat he would not go into the kitchen. I locked there door and dropped the key into the mailbox and called the owner 3 or 4 times she never answered. I then informed my client of the findings and she stated that she also saw dropping in the bar area, she tried calling the owner and again there was no answer. My client tried calling the next day, left a message and she never received a call back. The health department needs to go out to this establishment as soon as possible before someone gets sick. The Shatto should be ashamed! If you are reading this, Just know Im not bitter person. The Shatto didnt make me mad in the past in anyway. If they want to stay in business, this issue needs to be corrected asap!! But as for my staff, future clients and I will not be conducting business here anymore.

Omg what a phone experience to start off with. I called and a lady answered and I said hi how are you and she said what do you want? She then hanged up, I called again and she answered in a very bad mood. I told her I wanted to book my daughters quinceanera there and she goes off saying its weird someone saying hi how are you. Im rating the horrible phone experience/lack ofor manners.

I called the owner she could give me the price if i came to see the place while she was there so 10 minutes later I arrive to the venue I ask her for a rental price for an event im having in one week. then i asked her for a rental price for a larger room for an event im having in a year and she told me to come back when im serious. I said im am serious and why cant we discuss it now while im here she then said because im on a long distance phone call. I said really because you been talking to me for the last 15 minutes...very unprofessiional.
