Purchased and made a reservation through Groupon, which they no longer accept. Of course I didn’t know this until I show up to park and almost miss my flight. Apparently they have not been offering Groupons for more than a year now, and also don’t offer standard airport parking & shuttle service. Not sure how or why I was even able to purchase a Groupon if this was the case. The original location was kind of difficult to find, and there was no signage. When I finally found the location the attendant says that that particular lot was closed and sent me to an address about 5mins drive away. When I got to this new location (which was also slightly difficult to find and unmarked) they told me that they no longer offer the service I was inquiring about, and that they do not accept my Groupon. I’m not sure if I should be upset with Groupon or Sam’s Park to be honest.Luckily (but also not so lucky), there was a major commercial parking lot (The Parking Spot) across the street, I was able to quickly pivot find a spot on their lot and head out to the airport. It’s just unfortunate because of course this larger lot was more expensive and I was looking forward to the price I had paid initially.
Great service and very nice people. Waiting room super clean with leather, sofas vending machines, the new system its the best in lax the waiting time to /from the airport its short now, the customer service excellent, the car wash and detailing really good job I recommended according my experience, friendly drivers just the best.
**UPDATE 1/4/20: PLEASE READ.So when I picked my car up I notice a strong mildew smell, and there was significant condensation all in the inside front window. I thought it was weird, but let it slide... I didnt even mention it in my other reviews below. However... When I was cleaning the mud (left from SAMs) out of my car today, I lifted up the all weather floor mats and the floor carpet was soaking wet... Both sides front and both sides rear... The entire floor was soaked. My only guess is they left the windows down and let rain get all on the side of the car!!! I have no idea if this was intentional or not (due to my 2 star rating when I dropped the car off). Either way, NOBODY SHOULD USE SAMS PARKING SERVICE. My car now wreaks of horrible mildew.12/23/19: Rude staff at the front desk during drop off. Two stars at this point. Will update this review depending on how the rest of the experience goes...12/31: Dropping to one star... I rarely post reviews, but I feel others considering parking options in LAX should know, and the owners of this lot should know (if they even care)... Upon my return to the airport, I called Sams parking and waited for a pickup. They could give no estimate on how long it would take before and shuttle would swing by and pick us up. We waited 30 minutes at the designated pick up point, noticed several other shuttles come by multiple times, but no Sams shuttle. Luckily a Lyft happened to be dropping someone off, so we jumped and our great change of Fortune and snagged a ride back to Sams parking. You would think all would be good at it this point but noooo... When they moved my car from wherever they had it parked, I guess they decided to go do some mudding/offroading in my GTI... There was fresh mud all over wheels and inside the foot well of the drivers side.Sooo... One star... Buyer beware.
Used this place 3 times now. Super quick in and out. We have had no issues with them. The shuttle drivers may drive a little to quick but they drop you off fast and when we called for pick up they were there way faster than I though they would be.
No complaints about this place. We actually had a reservation at a different parking place (Value Park LAX) but when we showed up, they told us they didn’t have any space, despite our prepaid reservation. Frantically we called around and Sams was able to take us. No issues with service - wait time for shuttle at the airport was about 15 minutes for pickup. Car was ready to go when we got back. A little more pricey than value park LAX was, but considerably less than some of the others we had called. I’d recommend them.
Dropped car off, immediately brought to airport. Return, called, van there in about 3 minutes, my car was lined up for me. Very quick. Highly recommended.
Ill just say theres a reason why its not rated the best. I didnt understand why my preorder payment, which included my itinerary, ended up needing additional payment when I went to pick up my car. Also the front desk person literally never looked at me in the eyes and was pretty unhelpful/disinterested with me. The price is probably comparable to the other cheaper overnight parking spots. My car was safe though and the shuttle bus driver was very chill.
Beware. I noted the miles on my new car I left there. Came back and it had an additional 35 miles on it. The shuttles don’t run that often and the back door flew open on the one that picked use up. Luckily no luggage fell out but the driver didn’t seem to care either way.Service was rude and I’d recommend paying a few extra bucks for a better lot.
Came back to my car after 10 days to a beautiful dent in my hood... fantastic. Really adds character to its previously unblemished surface...
DO NOT USE THIS PARKING SERVICE. If I could give it a negative 10... I would. Our departure driver was from Egypt and did not know who Copa Airlines was. He kept looking for Coda Airlines. We were late, so at my urging, he finally called his manager and was told it was a terminal B. It wasnt, so me, my wife and two babies had to walk to terminal 3 to check in. The arrival made that departure look good. We called them and were asked where we wanted to wait. Heck, we dont know the airport (isnt that their job?), tell us! Finally we agreed for us to meet between terminals B and 4. A minute later I called back to ask if we should wait top level or bottom. I guess there had been an employee shift and an employee named WALTER told us to wait between terminal B and 3 on top level. So went there, and waited half an hour with 2 kids in the cold at midnight. Finally I called them and WALTER blamed me for not knowing that the van from their other company had been trying to find me. I was astonished! I told WALTER that we saw that van go by twice, but no one told me itd say anything but Sams parking. Why are you yelling at me? demanded WALTER and THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME. CLICK! I just stood there amazed as I hadnt even been yelling. I considered calling a taxi, but then just swallowed my pride and called back and more or less apologized to WALTER, at which point he was satisfied at my humility and said hed send a van from Sams parking this time. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? So after an hour in the midnight cold, we finally made it to Sams parking lot and guess what... yes, of course you guessed it. The car was not waiting and we had to wait another 10 minutes for it. WALTER apparently was working at the other parking lot they own, so I didnt have a chance to directly confront him personally... but the guy that was at the counter didnt apologize but demanded full payment. We paid and left. WE WILL NOT BE BACK to say the least...
Close to the airport and cheaper than the really close places. A little hard to find. They were nice. They drove us to the airport in a company van that was clean and fine. Didnt take long maybe 20 minutes to find the place, park, get all the paperwork done and get dropped off at LAX. When we got back the car was very dusty on the outside but seemed fine otherwise. They picked us up at the airport. Brought us our car and we were good to go.
No communication! They make a bad situation worse! I left my truck over the weekend and picked it up on Sunday night. They took an extra 40 minutes to get my truck once I arrived back to their office. When Walter, the manager, drove my truck up and walked up to me he handed my keys to me and apologized for the wait, I went to put my luggage in the back seat and immediately saw the damage to the door. It looks to me like the mirror or maybe spoiler of a car scraped across my rear door, it caused a deep crease in the door. When I went back to the office to let them know what happened they immediately said that they had to confirm it happened while they had it and that they would review the video footage of the truck entering their parking lot and see. Walter, the manager, promised he would take care of it and that I would hear from them. Walter had me fill out a claim form and then email the claim office. At this time, one week later, I have not heard anything from them, no response to my several emails and no return to my phone call. I don’t know for sure that they won’t take care of this, however their lack of communication is very concerning and definitely does not give me confidence.I understand that accidents happen, if they handled this differently with better communication I would be much more agreeable, as it stands I feel that With the total lack of communication that they are ignoring me and expect me to go away after promising to take care of it.I’m not sure how this review process works, if I can update later I will, however this is a terrible experience and I will recommend anyone go to another parking service as Sam’s has made a bad situation worse.
I should have read the reviews before I gave this company any money. Website says shuttles every 10-15 minutes, pickup took over an hour. There are so many reliable parking garages near LAX, dont choose Sams Park. The facility is in poor condition, the shuttles run less than half as often as they say, etc. I saw the Joes parking shuttle at least 6 times while I was waiting for Sams park.
Its tucked away so once you get on the side street there isnt much traffic. We found it pretty easily but when we arrived we had no idea the procedure. We parked in front of the office and went inside. They take your keys and move it to their parking. They have a shuttle that takes you to your terminal. On the way they pick people up and drop others off so give yourself plenty of time to make your flight. However I would say it went pretty fast even if he did drive a little crazy. I was a little upset though when it came time for him to drop us off. He made a stop before our terminal and the van was going to be full so he made us walk the rest of the way. The price was one of the better ones for the area though so you get what you pay for.
Sams is the only airport parking lot I use. Im a regular here and wont go elsewhere. Its a valet lot, the prices are cheaper than the park it yourself lots, and since its valet its faster. You just pull up, check in and give them your keys, and they take you right to the airport. They offer other services like car washes and oil changes too for very decent prices. Since I travel a lot its hard to find time to do that stuff so sometimes I use their services and I havent been disappointed.Im here nearly monthly and Ive never had a problem. One thing to note is that Although they take you TO the airport right away, sometimes its a bit of a wait to get picked up at the airport when you come home. This doesnt bother me because I never miss my flights, and once Im home the schedule is more flexible. Its also mainly the result of heavy airport traffic. But if you want to get picked up instantly, the parking spot has a lot more shuttles. Ive never used those guys since they are way more expensive.Anyway I love Sams. I recommend.
Good service and prices. Didnt have to wait long for pickup or drop off. Be sure to tip your driver. $5 should do the trick
WORST PARKING PLACE I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. Left my car here for almost 2 weeks. When I came back they didn’t even tell me my drivers side window had been cracked. I noticed it driving off. Came back and asked about it and no one seemed to want to give any information. Was barely given a reference number and told to call back in the morning. Guy I talked to in the morning said call back after 72 hours not 24. At 72 hours I was told I needed to talk to the claims guy Shawn (the main reason this place is terrible). It took me a whole week to get ahold of him. He said he was “out of town” when everyone else told me I had just missed him in the office... then it took me THREE whole weeks of calling/texting/begging him to fix my window as the crack was getting worse and worse as time went on. I was afraid it was going to shatter. When he fixed the window he didn’t have them fix the tinting so I asked where I should take it not once but THREE times and have still to this day not heard back from him. The lack of professionalism by this company is unacceptable. Either this man has no interest in doing his job, or he was swamped trying to fix a bunch of other cars his coworkers had damaged. Save your money, save your car, and most importantly save your mental health.
My husband and I used Sams parking service and were highly impressed with them! Lavar was an exceptional driver. They have the best prices around and amazing customer service! We will continue to give them our business as well as make sure our family and friends use them.
They asked us to call for pickup when arrived in lax. So we called, no one answered the phone. After 4-5 calls, a man finally picked up the phone told us to call again when were at the curb, then hung up on me. 🙄 So we tried calling couple times again at the destinated curb, waited for 30 minutes until their car show up. Do not recommend this place if you are time sensitive or looking for quality services.
Unless youre in a bind, this parking location is not ideal.Sketchy vibe from the get go. Dark back street, poorly lit. Misleading pricing when booking on the site. For example, when I booked a three day parking stay, it quoted ~$38, but when I got back from my trip, they added on an extra day for 1 hour past my said time even though I was still within my three days and price came out to $68 because there was a servicing fee for the transaction. Not sure how that can be when I was sitting there with cash in hand. They also threw in a SUV extra charge which was never discussed during the booking online or when I pulled my Jeep up to be dropped off. Staff who manage the lot are not friendly. My car air conditioner also smelled for two days, and I suspect that is due to wherever it is their covered valet parking is located. My car had been detailed two days before and when I picked it up it had dirty water drops all over the sides and windows as if it had been sitting outside. On the flip side, their bus driver was extremely friendly. He was able to recall my name when I got back from my trip and was punctual during the to and from shuttle to LAX. Nothing was stolen from my car and no damage.
Very honest and good costumer service! My daughter had left her $$ in the cup holder when we dropped off car. I phoned in and though they said they were busy at the time, someone did take the time to put her $$ in the glove compartment! Drop off was easy and the van picked us up within 10 minutes of calling. Will definitely use this service again!
I left my vehicle at this location for only 2 days. Before leaving the parking lot to the airport, i did reset/tripped my miles in the vehicle. Something told me NOT to trust this little place. Anyway, 2 day later, i returned to pick up my vehicle. Upon entering the vehicle and starting it, i noticed the trip odometer had 2.5 miles. Obviously, someone drove my vehicle without my consent. Which by the way, this is a crime under 10851(a)VC. DO NOT trust this lot. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This is not the only time this has happened. Also, they do have a bad rating that I failed to see. Theres an investigation pending on this business.
I have used Sam’s Parking twice now and was very content with their service. When I arrived both times to drop off my car, I was on a shuttle within minutes. It is within very close proximity of LAX, which is convenient if you’re ever running a little late to catch a flight. When I have arrived at LAX and needed to be picked up by a shuttle, I have never waited more than 10 minutes. I would use them again and I highly recommend using Sam’s Parking!
The people here are extremely rude and talk to you with a smart attitude. I came here twice because the pricing was good. The first time we left our car here for 5 days we noticed the miles were a little more than we left them and the gas was less. The second time we came we took a picture of the mileage and gas just to make sure we werent crazy and sure enough there were 5 more miles on our car than we left it! Between their bad attitudes and driving our car while we are on vacation, we will not be using their service in the future!
Location seems very unprofessional at first but they provide good service and was quick to drop off and pick-up. Make sure to view your Receipt and check where they will be able to pick you up. Other than that it went well.
We had a reservation at another parking lot. They were not able to accommodate us and referred us to Sams Parking. They got us in right away. Shuttled us to our airline and proceeded to the ticketing counter only to realize my husband lost his wallet. After frantically looking everywhere in the airport, we contacted the Sams to let them know what happened. They checked the shuttle we took and didnt find it. They checked our vehicle and found it had drop under the seat. They brought it to our departing airline. Its refreshing to know there are still honest people in the world. Thanks to Sams Parking staff, we were able to enjoy our long awaited vacation. Very impressed!!!
Cannot handle more than five pick ups, expect to wait 1 to 1.5 hours to get picked up from the airport to retrieve your vehicle, if they find it. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra $30 and park at a more reliable place, wait... if you didnt listen to me and when you pull up to their front door and you get that uneasy feeling because it looks like a shady place, follow your gut and forget about the deposit you paid and just leave! If you dont listen, cant wait to read your one star review.
Parking was well priced, but hard to notice from the street. There was also no sign for the office, so it was hard to know where to go. Shuttle also took a while, but it was just fine.
Had no issues dropping vehicle off they took us to the airport immediately. Upon returning from our trip we were picked up within 5 minutes after our call letting them know off our arrival. The driver was friendly and drove safely. only issue we had was they wanted to charge us extra for having an SUV but I did let them know that there was nothing stated on their website about charging extra for large vehicles and the gentleman was nice enough and removed the extra charge. I definitely recommend them and I will use them again in the future.
Wish I would have read reviews here before using this service. They had me pay and gave me the keys back after knowing that my possessions within my car have been taken. Luckily my car was not damaged but this business is extremely shady and I would just spend the difference on a better parking service. Its over a week since i filed a claim but nobody has contacted me even after I have reached out multiple time. Tough lesson learned.DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS SERVICE
Super unprofessional. They gave me the WRONG car key when I tried to retrieve my car. After I said this isn’t my key, the guy proceeded to dig through the TRASH to try tofind it. Are you serious? Five minutes later, another guy pulled in with my car. The guy in the front said “oh your car is back”, no apologies, no anything. Also found a pen that’s not mine in the passenger seat. I would never park here again ever.
AVOID THIS PLACE! The staff stole from the car.You can tell they went through the car looking for things to steal too. Things were out of place. From the moment we got back in the car, we knew something was wrong. The customer service is lacking. Not very professional nor friendly. The claims form is a blank sheet of paper. They obviously do not care about their staffs’ actions. The shuttle service is the only plus. Took about 10 minutes to get to the airport and picked up within 20.
Easy drop off and pick up. Simply drive up and unload the car. They take load your luggage and park your car. Buses to the airport are frequent and clean. I would park there again.
The worst experience with this place, I left my car on December 28,2019 and picked on January 10, 2020 first, the shuttle service is the worst we have to wait for almost an hour, by the time I start my car the light engine came on, I was really surprised because a few days before living on my trip the car was took to the dealer for service and it was in great condition, when I star driving I told my son, this car has been driving by somebody else it feels weird and then my son was told me I guess someone has been sitting on the back and I ask why, the seat cover from the back was ripped and when I try to put the brak the car was on horrible conditions that I was afraid to continue driver, I get off on the road and turn in off and try again and still the engine light was on, I call right away to the office and let them know all about with the car and how I feel about and that I was sure somebody used, I continue driving and when I got to my house, I saw smoke coming from the hood I took a video and call back again very upset for them to responde and give me an explanation about all the matter, they told me that the manager was going to call me and I never got a call from them and taking responsibilities, I took the car to AUDI and pay for a tow to move it to the dealer, I told the manager at that time from Sams that they will have to reimburse me with all those expenses and he said not to worry that they will do it. Finally I got the report from Audi and they toll me that the car was run on December 31, 2019 at 9:31 pm, when I check the mileage on the car they drove and put 587 miles. I had to pay for all the repairs and they don’t want to take responsibilities, I have send all the documents to my lawyer and send another copy to a TV channel so they will stop abusing. I am so upset with this place and I hope no one will continúe used them. I will do everything that is my hands so nobody will ever use this place and leave their car there. My name is Sylvia Huezo and I will be there the day that the tv Chanel canes by so they will see I was not playing when the owner star yelling me by the way his name is Shawn and he said that he will not pay me nothing. PLEASE DONT USE THIS GARBAGE PLACE
I have used Sams Parking twice now and Im deeply contented. The stuff is awesome. Always nice and entertaining. When I was running late, for my fly, they immediately gave me a lift. I never had to wait more than 10/15 minutes.
DO NOT PARK HERE!! This place was a dump! Their website claims to offer great prices and excellent customer service...they’re joking with you!! The front desk guy clearly hates what he does for a living. The shuttle is somewhere between a salvaged vehicle and that minivan you were warned to stay far away from.
I found a really great deal for this place on Groupon. Its very close to LAX and I think I paid about $7 a day to park there for 2 weeks. It was quick and easy to drop off my car and get a shuttle to the airport. The van pick up when I return to LAX was equally easy. My car was ready. Just a straightforward interaction with good customer service delivered quickly. Id highly recommend this place over some of the big companies like Wally Park, Etc.
NEVER! EVER! USE THIS COMPANY!I am writing it so others can be warned. I hardly ever write reviews and if I do they are positive, but I felt I needed to write this one.1. We waited OVER an hour for pick up after arriving at LAX around midnight with two young kids. Called the office a couple of times to check and the person who answered was extremely argumental and rude accusing us of telling them we were in a different spot so the driver did not pick us up. A complete lie. We watched EVERY shuttle passing by and none were from Sams so they simply just took so long to come by while accusing us of causing all the confusion. I still cant believe the service provider would go out of their way to blatantly lie and accuse instead of trying to resolve the situation.2. When we arrived we saw our car parked in front of the office. We immediately noticed that the back bumper was badly damaged and when we asked the person in the office to discuss this, he refused and responded by pointing to the bill amount to pay instead. In a very rude way!!! Unbelievable!!! We did not not want to pay until we got some assurance that the damage issue was addressed in some way. They threatened to call the police if we dont pay the bill. Then a supervisor showed up and I believe this was the person who was on the phone accusing us of telling them a wrong pick up place. He proceeds to ask what the matter was in a quite bullish way and when we try to explain he interrupted us and talked over us and argued - again. And accused us of being rude and threatening. Oh, Man!!! Instead of trying to calm the situation, he made clear efforts to make the situation even worse!!!3. When we finally asked that he explains the process of taking care of the damage, he proceeded to get the claim form and came up with the steps how the issue will be resolved and answered some questions, but I believe it was just to tell us what we want to hear and so that we go away. He was nice from that time on.We then left and went to get gas and found more scratches on the front bumper!!! so it was not just a one time oops. It is recurring issue.4. Based on the reviews below, I have little expectation that the claim will be properly addressed and resolved and PAID for in full. But I will be happy to provide an update to this review if we are contacted in a professional way and the repair costs for the damages are paid for in full and in a timely manner (say about 4 weeks). As it is now I wish I could give this business a zero star ranking.
0 stars if I can. Dont ever park here. I parked my car only to receive it with dings and scratches of different colors, most likely from the rash parking valet person who squeezes a million cars into a tiny lot thereby affording little space to open doors carefully. Guess what he doesnt care about your car. I now have to file a claim with my insurance and I dont know how much this will cost. It also took a long time to wait for the shuttle and even pick my car up upon reaching the parking spot. Why in the world do you request my flight arrival time if you arent going to have it ready!!! I ended up taking another shuttle and then walked up the remaining distance. Total waiting time was about 1hour which is ridiculous. This is a scam managed by a bunch of hooligans. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Very misleading with their prices. Charge additional for an SUV or pick up truck. Which is not stated on the website when making a reservation, nor did our email confermation state it. Also charge an extra day if you retrieve your car 1/2 hour later than stated. No costumer service in understanding of flight landed late or luggage issue. Also vans were very poorly maintained and pads were grinding with every stop. Then the second van we were in was constantly dinging because of needing oil change. When we retrieved our truck 5 miles was placed on the odometer and the radio station was changed to a station in another language. The website says self park, but you actually park your car and leave the keys for them to move it to another location. I booked this at the very last minute and didnt realize that was what was meant in terms of self park. At the end of it all we were billed by two separate companies and found it very hard to have a conversation with the manager due to language barrier.
Left my Toyota Tacoma from July 12-21.One of their employees decided to replace my AutoZone Duralast battery with a dead Super Start battery. Called 4 time already, constantly given run around that the manager is not in and will call me soon.Do no support the thievery at Sams Parking.$120 for 9 days of parking and $140 for a new truck battery.
Do not park at Sam’s Parking! We recently used them for the first time and we had $50.00 stolen from an envelope hidden in my car. You have to leave your car keys with them so it was rather easy for one of their employees to go through our car at their leisure. The management refused to answer any of our calls or email to resolve this! There are so many other quality places to park. We’ve used Wally’s and that was great! We have used Quik Park and they were great too. We will never use Sam’s Parking ever again and you shouldn’t either. Be warned!
An inexpensive place to park your car at the airport. Great service getting and returning. The disappointing part was when we picked up our car it was supposed to be stored inside and it was left outside . Just had the car detailed before we left. They told me it would be a 16.00 up charge to store it inside and I agree to the fees.
They lie to you when they say the shuttle is on the way to pick you up. I asked the driver and he said he was just told 2 minutes before picking me up but I waited 40 minutes.Serious F You to this place that lies to customers - please pick anyone else. If you book early enough any other place is a better experience.
My go to parking spot when traveling! Super easy and fast! The drivers and dispatchers are pleasant and helpful.
DO NOT PARK HERE!! What a racket!!! When I check in I was told that I was paid in FULL!!! They take my keys!! One week later I return, call to be picked up, have to wait 1hour, after calling twice. I finally get to the lot to pickup up my Jeep Cherokee I’m told I owe more $$$ because my car is “oversized” and it cost more to park it!! Really!!! They knew what I was parking when I checked in! Of course they have my keys and won’t give them to me until I pay!!!So I have to pay just to get out of there!!!
July 18th, 2019. Worst pick-up ever. Waited 30 minutes after initial call. Had to call 3 times. I would not advise if you want to leave the LAX airport quickly
The worst. Dropping my car off was no problem (once I could actually find the place) but once I landed back at LAX they said their shuttle service was down, and to use an Uber. They tried to refuse my cash insisting I use my credit card. I refused because I didnt trust their service and that my credit card wouldnt be stolen. Additionally-- Although it was my car & I was paying, they wouldnt look me in the eye and only spoke to my boyfriend. Super sexist. Dont go here. Spend your money wisely.
Okay service, drop off is quick in the morning when there is no one. Pickup at night, took 50 minutes. Almost called an Uber. They also dont pick up the phone. Wont be going here again.
Similar to other customers i had problems with shuttle pick up. The company operates by the standards of the 20th century- all transactions are in paper, and God forbid you lose the paper most likely youll never see you car again. Jokes apart, very affordable prices, but awful customer service, dirty facility and unprofessionally trained employee. I highly recommend to stay away from this place!
The car was fine, but I paid in advance through Spot Hero and they charged me again when I picked up my car. Fortunately, Spot Hero refunded my money, but they wont answer their phones and address the subject. They still bilked me out of 15 bucks. Seems like a shabby outfit run by people who could care less about the customers. Maybe someone should park their cars...give em a taste of their own medicine.
It a really good place to keep my cars for a long trem agreements. I have 6 of my beautiful cars that are worth a lot. Wont change Sams park for any other place. Keep up the good work.
This story starts with the fact that they TURNED ON MY HIGH BEAMS AND LEFT THEM ON FOR 3 DAYS!!!! (I always leave my lights on auto) When I got to my car it was dead! If you would like to hear the rest of my terrible experience, please read on. Originally I went online which stated my 3 day stay would be $20. Once I got there he quoted me on $50 and told me sorry prices changed. I didnt have time to change my car parking plans as I would have missed my flight. The driver who took me to the airport took his sweet time which got me too close to my boarding time. Once I arrived back to the airport, from the time I called them to pick me up until the time I got into my car was around 1.5 hours. No one seemed all that happy to be helping ANY of their guests. All around I am very unhappy with these services and I REALLY hope this does not happen to any one else.
Price was ok and lower than others that are close. I parked my car for 18 days so I looked for a good deal. The place is hard to find but the worse part is the pick up. It took over 40 minutes for them to get us. I called after 15 minutes to make sure that they remembered. I called again at 30 minutes and they said the shuttle was at terminal 2 and I was at Tom Bradley I tried to ask another question and they hung up on me. Another 12 minutes later and an empty van showed up I asked what happened and the drive said traffic. Mind you I watched a van with a trailer circle around the airport 3 times while we waited. Would not recommend as they were only about $30 less than the other close places.
DO NOT PARK HERE -- they are a terrible company. Similar to many other reviewers, they damage your car and its impossible to get them to pay for anything. Taking it up with BBB and my insurance now. Pay a little more for a decent reputable parking company.
Returned from my vacation with a scrape on the side of my car. They gave me a claim number and told me that someone would be in contact within 72 hours. No one called. After that I called on an almost daily for a month to rectify the issue. The claims person was NEVER in the office. Sean (if this person actually exists) never got back to me and other staff didnt even seem to care.
THIEVES!Although their shuttle was quick on this trip, were missing several items from our car--New Balance slippers, company badge, some change, Amazon kindle fire, and who knows what else. I filed a claim and am hoping for some compensation, but if my experience is like anyone elses on here, nothing will happen.I plan on hounding them and contacting the BBB.--------------Edit: got in touch with the owner and exchanged texts during the first week after returning. Gave him prices of all the items missing. Returned to the place to receive complete compensation back on to my credit card.
They are quick to pick you up and drop you off. Great price and the service is more than acceptable. Ive used them twice this year and they were great both times.
I would recommend this place for quick service and inexpensive rates. I parked my car here for 3 days and when I picked it up ironically the battery in the fob was dead. I was so upset and when started reading the reviews I went into a panic. I asked the guy at the front desk to give me the managers name and number. Sean the owner, was professional and responsive. I bought a new battery and apologized for being so reactive.
Hole in the wall place but cheap parking rates. Theres no eye catching signage so its easy to miss. Their shuttke took us to the airport at 4:00am for our 6:30am flight (24 hour Service). No hassle. When our domestic flight landed, I called for shuttle service as we walked towards baggage claim. It took the shuttle about 20 minutes to get there after I called, but they were also picking up 2 other families that had just arrived from their flight as well. Their facilities are old and dirty but their staff was quick. No damage to our vehicle.
Everything seems to take twice as long as it should. They advertise 10-15 minute shuttle service but on my way to the airport I waited for 35 min to depart. Pick up was quicker but then waiting in line was a nightmare. One person helping about 20 people. Don’t count on getting somewhere in a timely manner. Affordable rate with sub-par service. They should just change their signs and expectations would be more accurate.
Whatever you do not park your car here, they will steal out of your car and very rude, when checking in the young man at the desk was very rude to the customer ahead of me. I felt he wouldn’t have spoke to her that way had she had been a man. I Parked my car on 5/17 Friday at 5:30am returned on 5/20 Monday @4pm someone stole my handicapped placard off my rear view mirror, when I informed them it was missing the guy became real rude with me as if I was lying. Another guy Frank came out looked through the car made a claim and gave me contact info of Sean, told me to give him 48!hours and he will call me back. After 72 hours no call, I called spoke with Sean he had no ideal what I was talking about so I gave him the claim number he said he would called my back in 24 hours it’s been a week now, they won’t even answer their phone now. SMH, who would steal a disabled placed from a MS patient. I need that placard now I have to go through the whole process of getting another because I chose this slum parking service. It’s about principal now. Anyone reading this review would like to do a class action suit let me know. I know how to get it started. #paidforsomeonetostealfromme#
Went fine for our flight out, but on or return we had to wait on the curb over 40 minutes for a shuttle. (It wasnt a traffic problem.) Three phone calls later their shuttle finallly came. Not even a sorry. No way to treat people.
It would help it someone there would actually answer the phones so that we can get a pick up ride. It is a Thursday evening at 9pm and weve been trying to call them for a pickup at the Bradley Terminal and the number keeps hanging up. We had to log on to the internet to get an alternative number which is an (855) toll free number and it puts you on ETERNAL HOLD. These guys are lazy and dont care about their returning customers.
Super unprofessional. They gave me the WRONG car key when I tried to retrieve my car. After I said this isnt my key, the guy proceeded to dig through the TRASH to try to find it. Are you serious? Like you think you mightve accidentally thrown a CUSTOMERS car key away????Five minutes later, another guy pulled in with my car. The guy in the front said oh your car is back, no apologies, no anything, didnt seem sorry at all. After I drove home, I found a pen thats not mine in the passenger seat. Nothing too serious happened to me (unlike other unfortunate owners who had their cars damaged), but it wasnt a pleasant experience and Ill definitely choose to park elsewhere next time.
SCAM DANGER!! Your car will come back scratched and dented, then theyll run you around in circles trying to get your claim followed through. They tried to tell the family in front of me that there was an outstanding payment due, until they brought out their receipt from their online prepayment.
Very bad service. I parked my car there and got some damage. They said they are gonna refund the cost but Turned out they gave me a fake email. Nowhere to find the manager anymore. Also they messed up my car and there’s all dirt in the driver’s seat.
SAVE YOURSELF FROM A HEART ATTACK AND DO NOT GO THERE! I called and asked for a pickup after we landed at LAX (5 hour flight) and while I was walking to the red sign. After the phone rang more than 30 times, a person picked up the phone and asked where I am. I said within a minute to the sign. He said oh so you are not even under the sight yet. I said wait, now I am. He said that I am lying. I said listen dude, I have just finished a 5-hour flight and do not have time to play around. Then I realized that in the middle of me saying that he had hung up! Called again and another guy picked up and said he doesnt know who answered the phone. Interestingly enough, the person himself had come to pick us up. When I realized that I asked if this is the same guy you had hung up on me. He said he was. I said so you were the rude person who hung up on me. He went from 0 to 100, screaming at the top of his lung cursing at us when he stopped the car in the middle of the airport and tried to throw my 75 year old mother, my sister, and me out of the car. He said there is no way he would take us to the parking lot!! After we threaten and we are calling the police he came back to the car and only because there were other passengers that he had to pickup, he took us back. I am pretty certain that Ahmad (the guy) is either the owner or a close relative because otherwise he wouldnt have dared to treat a family in the middle of the night like that. I was scared for my life the way he was yelling at me and trying to throw us out of the car! Please do not got there if you want to be safe and especially if you are with family.
This is by far the worse parking lot service I have ever experienced-hopefully my last. The customer service is subpar. If you would like to be treated with respect and like a paying customer please do not patronage this establishment. Upon returning from my business travels I was hung up on 5x times waiting over 40 min for car service from the airport as promised. As frustrated as I was with their representative Alex he told me to shut up on the phone and then hung up. I was spoken down to at their facilities as if I was doing them a favor as a paying customer. I eventually paid for a cab to their facilities to retrieve my car. Alex called me names while I waited for my car and continued to press on with insults. I am a government worker and own my own business and I know how to treat customers. Do not endorse this company. Ive tried reaching he owner to discuss this further with no resolution.
DO NOT PARK HERE!!!!These low rating are not a joke! i parked here this July, 2018 our vehicle is severely damaged all over not just cosmetic. Filled a claim with Sams Park when we picked up the vehicle was told they would get back to me in 72 hours. Its been 3 weeks now and I have not been able to get a hold of the so call claim manager or anyone that is willing to give me any answers. Ive been hung up several times when I have called. DO NOT PARK HERE!!!!
Their website is either lying or unclear: their shuttles do NOT go every 15 minutes 24/7. Yes its a fast, free shuttle, but the website is misleading. The van that shuttled us was rickety, very damaged seats and the door would not open without two of their people teaming up on it.
Convenient great location good prices and they are fast. Google maps will not get you to the exact location. Look on map it is on 96th st.i believe.
Friendly staff. Was dropped off at LAX and was promised a ride back after my vacation from Australia. Needless to say their phones were busy each time I called them, so I got myself an Uber instead. Got lost trying to find the Uber driver, called him up hella times and he finally answered. Super cool older Asian gentleman. Dropped me off at Sams and guess what?! THEY PAID FOR THE UBER! Praise the lord. Definitely worth parking at.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!! They steal stuff out of your car!!! I have given them plenty of time to contact me after calling and filling out a claim form. I’m out $60 worth of stuff!!! I have reported them to the better business bureau as well. This is not ok to steal stuff out of people’s cars!!!!
Horrible experience before taking our car it was washed. We arrived they seemed a bit scattered and confused but pretty nice. Paid extra to have it parked inside. When we got back from our trip driver picked us up with an attitude they could not find my husbands name on the account. Office must have called the driver asked him for our confirmation info. Preceding to speak in spanish stating we did not know what we were talking about not realizing we also speak spanish arrived to pick up our truck when husband went to check it mud on tires and truck mind u it was washed before we dropped it off it was not raining at the time and the heater was on. They had left truck outside for 7days and or used it tried to charge us indoor price like if we were fools. PLEASE BEWARE!!!
They have dangerous drivers in Lax be aware. They drive very recklessly!
Worst service ever! I failed to see the rating. Never ever use it. I am giving 1/5 because 1 is the lowest otherwise its 0.1. After reaching the airport around 10 PM, I had to call them more than 10 times before they talked to me.2. Ended up in waiting for more than 1 hour before they reached to pick me up. I could have taken a taxi / UBER!3. The worst part - The language used by the telephone operator was very rude, derogatory and humiliating. I called just 2 times and then didnt call further as I didnt want to lose my self-respect.
This is my first time there. I left another place the park at LAX because they made me promises of service and never came through. The people answering the phones were often short and rude with me. Unfortunately when I went to Sams I noticed they use the exact same form as the other place so I now believe the places are related. One good thing about this pmace is it is a bit closer to the airport than the park at lax.
Parking was fine. Drop off done right away. When we arrived, we went to the pickup point and called for pickup. 73 minutes later we were picked up. They did knock 50% off but waiting outside a cold terminal after a long flight is lottle consolation.
Oh I take it back...0 star so far. My car was dented upon my pick up time. I dont know how you guys treat your customers, but if you guys dont fix my car Im calling BBB. The email address you provided me is not a working e mail. Pls communicate with me to fix this problem. SO FAR YOUR COMPANY SUCKS.
Called at departing airport and also when we landed with the confirmation number. Shuttle took over 30 minutes you arrive and car was still not out. Even though we purchased before hand, we were then told the would be additional fees and taxes. Poor customer service, understaffed, and pungent smell coming from porta potties in front parking lot. Would not recommend.Update - they had lost key and had only started an in depth search once I told them we had been waiting 45 minutes. Key was found after another ten minutes.
DO NOT PARK HERE! I returned from my vacation to find my one month old car damaged. Sam’s Park acknowledged the damage (I found it before I left their lot), eventually apologized and asked me to get an estimate for repair. I got two estimates and both came within $50 of one another. I sent the information to their claim adjuster (Sean) and did not hear back for weeks. After repeated phone calls and emails from me, he finally replied via email that they’d pay half the estimated cost unless I’d bring car (at my time/expense) back to LA to get it repaired. I live 100 miles from LA and car needs to be painted so it is a multi-day repair. I indicated this was not acceptable considering Sam’s caused the damage to my car and I am getting no response. When I asked other Sam’s Park staff why Sean cannot return emails and phone calls I was told it’s because he is too busy. That is not good for the claims adjuster at a parking lot business! Their website says they “provide excellent service” and “try to treat every client like family.” They are failing miserably!
Pretty good experience the 2 times Ive been here.Booked a reservation online and paid a small deposit. Dropped the car off and the location is very close to LAX and on the west of the 405 which is much safer than the east of the 405. The check-in process was ok, did take 10min, showed them my confirmation email and they put it in the system. I was then given a sheet of paper with the drop off and return dates and a phone # to call when I came back. Waited for the shuttle for about 10min and then it dropped us off at the airport. On the way back, after we arrived under the courtesy shuttles area, I called them to request a shuttle pickup. The shuttle arrived 17min after my call. There was apparently a mistake on the price which they corrected right away. It took another 10min for someone to go get my car from the lot in the back.Overall, no issues.
I would not use this company again. They damaged my car while I was on vacation. I could go on and on and write a very descriptive review, but I will keep it simple and not waste any more time on this company. They ignored my calls and emails. I filled out a damage claim report and photos of the damage and never heard from them. This went on for two months. I also read other reviews after my experience and there were really bad ones. I read that they never stop accepting vehicles and often park cars on the main streets. Some people have had damage, some have had parking tickets and 1 person claims there car was stolen. Coincidentally, my father in laws car was also damaged and they have yet to resolve the issue. ***Beware*** You have been warned! Save yourself the grief. Do not use this Company!
Shuttle service to and from sams was great. But when I returned to pick up my car it was parked far in the dark, others picking up were pulled right up front. Turns out they were trying to hide a dent that was not present at time of drop off. It was on the rear bumper and obvious that a license plate of a vehicle was parked behind it too close casing damage. I brought it to their attention, one of the workers started laughing. He said he couldnt help but laugh. Would not recommend to anyone!
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE CHEAP FOR A REASONPLEASE READ REVIWS.Left my car there for a week, had to wait for pi ck up 3/4 hr. They are very rude, anyway picked up my car and left with out checking the car out stopped at an In and out parked almost at the front entrance on the way out my wife noticed ed something on the front of the car at close inspection the car was damaged scratches on the front bumper and damage to the fender and headligt. Called them when I got home left a message for the manager he never returned my call called for 2 days never returned my callsSo if u use this lot have them check your car and sign a pice of paper checker good when u get backThe cheep price of the lot cost me my deductibleBUYER BE AWARE NOT WORTH IT
I would advise not to use this service. The slight cheaper price is NOT worth it. I would have paid double than use these guys again. After haggling to try to get a shuttle (they would not pick up the phone, or put me on hold, I would call back and put me on hold again) ended up paying for a taxi, leaving my wife and kids at the airport and went there to pick up my car. It was a nightmare. I warned you. I think they have 1 shuttle bus. Just look at the rest of the posts. Its no accident.
No dents or any damage to my vehicle I’m not sure if they move the cars to a different location after receiving but there was a good 3 miles on my car and the stuff I had in the truck had slid from one side to the other including a heavy box of nails I’m hoping they didn’t do any donuts in my mustang
Spend a a couple more dollars and self park somewhere else, these clowns managed to hit my rear drivers side door with what seems another car, this is on a brand new Tacoma, so i know that wasnt there. When telling the guy up front he said ohh our claims guy will email you in 3 days what awesome customer service. Been 10 days and no email or any sort of communication from the claims guys. IF YOU LIKE YOUR PARK SOMEWHERE ELSE
Very affordable prices, and good service, exact pick up time, well recommend.
Horrible experience. I waited over an hour and a half of them to pick me up. Very rude people. Would not recommend. You would be better off walking. They need to go out of business. I am so upset how they treated me.
They will tell you the shuttle is going to pick you up in 10 to 15 minutes but expect to wait 45 minutes to an hour for the shuttle to arrive. This has been the case every time I’ve parked here so I recommend just taking an Uber from the airport. Other than that, It’s an ok value.
HORRENDOUS! Read other reviews! DO NOT PARK HERE!! I came back after a weekend trip only to find a massive gash in my fender. I trusted them with my car and now I have to file an insurance claim. Cheap parking became a lot more expensive. Had I read the other reviews, I would have known better.
Disgusting service from the shuttle driver from sams park. He wouldn’t take my wife and I to the airport without giving him a tip. When we arrived and gave him a $2 he then complained and said he deserved more. I am really disgusted by this. He isn’t driving a taxi he is driving a shuttle bus and tips are given based on service and manners they are not a requisite. I am very disappointed about the lack of professionalism displayed by the shuttle driver at sams park. Will never park there again and do not recommend this facility!!
Prices are very cheap but when I arrived, I wasnt comfortable with the location. Its in a discreet dark location and the parking spots are open right to the street without any kind of fencing or safety. In addition, its valet so you have to leave your keys and they have a lot of paperwork to sign off on existing damage and some pretty aggressive warnings about them not being liable for damage or theft. I cancelled my reservation and went to a different lot because I wasnt comfortable that my car would be safe and secure.
Good place to park. Took some time to locate. Car was out front when I arrived. Will use them again.
Frank displayed wonderful customer service. Well spoken, well mannered employee. Just ask for Frank!!
Great parking spot with detail and mechanic services
First off, we did not feel it was right to be charged an additional $1.00 a day for an SUV when my SUV is smaller than some cars and does not take up any extra space. The location was not in a very good neighborhood. Im not sure where my car ended up for 6 days once we left it for the valet. The drop off and pick up from the airport was within 10-15 minutes, which we were happy about. However, once we arrived back to pick up our car, it was backed up over a curb and halfway in the dirt. This is not what we expected when we thought we were paying for valet. We will not use Sams Park for any future parking needs and do not recommend this facility.
PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THEM. I picked up my car on Saturday only to notice a dent in the right passenger door. When I asked the person behind the desk about it he gave me a paper to fill out. I informed him that I took pictures of my car before I left it. So I knew it has been done there. He said obviously it was done here so just fill out the form I wasnt sure if I had to fill out a police report for insurance purposes so I called the police department to ask. I informed them what happened and when I repeated what the man behind the desk said about obviously it was done there. The guy started yelling I didnt say that i was surprised to see him yelling because I was just repeating what he said. I told him he knew what he said and now he was lying. After that he was extremely unprofessional I asked for a copy of the report I made he said he didnt have a copier so I took a pic. I asked him for a invoice # which the report requested and he said he didnt have one. Until another employee overheard and told me to just use the number on my receipt. I asked him for his name and he refused to give it to me. He then started yelling again saying I had put words in his mouth and I was treating him like he had hit the car. I told him he was being unprofessional he was getting loud so I raised my voice too and told him I had no need to argue with him but he kept going so I started recording him thats the only was he stopped he accused me of not acting right in front of my two small children. I told him I wasnt ashamed of teaching my kids its okay to stand up for yourself when some one is treating you the way he was treating me. He responded by telling me What do you expect when you pay $9 a night you should have paid the $20 a night parking at another location and this kind of stuff wouldnt happen but thats what you get when your cheap I could not believe he said this. I told him he was the worst customer service rep I ever met as I walked out he yelled and said i was the worst women he ever met. I will be contacting the manager / owner hoping they make things right because no one should be treated like this.
