I love this PO. The postal clerks are all wonderful.

Nancy is seriously the nicest most helpful person there. She always tries to find the cheapest way to send things and she always has a sweet demeanor. Ive never had a bad experience at this post office.

I do not like anything about this office. staff is constantly rude to customers. also lately NONE of our packages have been getting delivered and if they have, the come later than expected. not to mention that any packages that are delivered through USPS are ALWAYS sliced or cut open or things are missing so they are definitely going through peoples stuff.🙄

I regret ever learning of this post office. Usually the post office does an awesome job of delivering the mail. Usually fast and efficient service. But that was because I was mailing at other locations. I had 9 padded envelopes of face masks to send out and even rounded up the weight by an extra ounce to make sure it would go out with no problems. This was on Monday when I dropped it off at the Los Alamitos branch inside the building. Today is Wednesday night and not even a beginning scan for this. So now Im going to lose the money for these orders and the shipping. I also made the mistake of dropping off my tax return at this location, so I dont know if I need to refill another form and send it off again. Go anywhere but this location to drop off your mail. I may have had better luck if I had just dropped it off on the sidewalk and hoping some random stranger would put it in a mailbox.

A full service post office in the neighborhood. Also provide self service kiosk for letters of all sizes and packages. Plenty post office boxes to share and the lobby is immaculate. Very friendly crew and good lighting. It has drop boxes outside the main office that provide drive through service. However, the drop boxes were placed too close to each other whereby creating a queue. Suggest spreading them out by at least one car size distance apart.

This post office employees are absolutely terrible at their jobs and by the way the reviews are rigged and cleaned up since it’s a government entity. I posted an awful review of them four years ago including the names of two of the employees who worked here who were incompetent, and I see they had reviews removed since then.Over the last four years I’ve declared this is the most incompetent post office in America.First, nobody EVER answers the phone here, they do not process mail forwarding cards that you hand directly to the supervisors,And you can speak to the manager directly to his face about an issue and then a week or two later have the same exact issue that we are speaking of. this Time they closed my PO Box, even though I picked up all mail, even though it’s paid in full. They asked me to pick up the mail as it was overflowing and I did. Spoke with the manager in person and he said to complete a mail forwarding card. A week later I get a notification they closed the box anyway.THAT is how incompetent and dishonest these folks are! Tell you one thing to your face and then turn around and do the opposite.I will continue to write the local congressman about this. I complained four years ago but I see the office is still run with incompetents.

They delivered my package to the wrong house and refused to acknowledge it. manager said hed get back to me after talking to the courier, waited about a week, didnt hear anything back, so I went back there in person and he wouldnt talk to me. I never heard anything back from then, never got my package, and never got my money back. worst USPS.

I am an online retailer and this place is terrible. I used to go here to drop off packages and they would scan them when they come in. But lately they have decided to not scan the packages that Ive been dropping off here. I went to the one in Seal Beach and they scanned my package straight away. The reason that I need my packages scanned is because it updates the tracking information so my customers know that I dropped off their packages at the post office. It took one week and two days for tracking information to update because the package arrived in another post office. Ive had multiple orders cancelled because of these people here deciding not to scan my package when its at their post office, Ive lost money and products because of this. Terrible service.Edit: Looking back at the other reviews it could also be that packages just get held up here and are never sent for weeks. I went back in when my package wasnt being scanned for more than a week and they said they dont even scan packages, they just send them off to the state that its supposed to arrive at and just have them scan it.

Its a five stars post office. The staffs are very friendly and very helpful every times I go there. Ive been sending a lot of stuff to oversea and never have any problems. I even have my passport renewed at that Los Alamitos Post Office also.

This is the worst post office I have ever experienced. I have moved a lot. I have used a LOT of post offices in different states and cities. I own a business. This office in Los Alamitos is THE WORST. There is always a long line. Our packages were always being held up, always sitting in the post office for days not getting delivered.... and we were in the building NEXT DOOR! They would try to deliver items when our business was closed (Mondays) and then never bring them back when we were open. We would walk over and ask for packages and they would tell us there were none, but we would know they were in there. Sometimes we would go there and ask for packages and they would give us one or two, and we would find out there 2 or 3 more in there that they didnt give us. We were at the same address for 5 years and they still could not get it right. Now I have moved a couple of miles away. I filed a change of address. I have called them and done everything I could think of, and there are still packages that have not been forwarded to my new address. It has been 2 months. Some of my mail is getting shipped back to the hub and back to the original shipper instead of being forwarded. This is their job. This is what they are supposed to do. How can they be so bad at it? No wonder they are going bankrupt.

I love my local post office. The staff is friendly and are helpful. They have more people working the counters so the wait isnt long.

Our front door has a sign stating if were not in please deliver to 2 next door neighbors with addresses, its not uncommon for the carrier not to deliver and post on tracking info. business closed. Our sign request please leave notification and deliver to neighbors.Please think about this when you consider voting for Government Provided Health Care, since the USPS has no competition THEY DONT HAVE TO DELIVER DEPENDABLE SERVICE, we have complained about this issue and weve received silly explanations like maybe they didnt read sign maybe they should have a job if they refuse to read their customers request. Fortunately, the carrier will be employed till retirement will full protection from his supervisors. I have to remind myself it could be worse, I could be a too lazy and unable to deliver great service just like the carrier that we have to deal with. Now I have to go to post office and pick up package.

Some ( not all ) staff members seem to be only concerned about their pay check. If you have a legitimate issue, good luck!They treat complaints as personal insults, since they have no real threat of losing their jobs and are allowed not to care, they can become very tribal.Next time you consider voting for Government Provided Health Care, look back at the level of service youve received going to DMV / USPS.Whenever an organization can operate without any concern of making a profit and has no real competition, it always turns out BAD.SO VOTER BEWARE!!!My issue was taken care of after being hung up on twiceGiven some strange nonsense option, that was at best childlikeEven a phone call was terminated with the Post Master after I explained I was driving, not sure why she ended call without letting me know why.Finally a manager addressed my issue and got it straightened out.I called the 800 customer care number with no resolve twice.I called on the issue at least 6 times, yes 6 times!!!

No 24 hour lobby nor 24 hour self service machine! You actually have to be there during normal hours to access self service machine which has benefits but limited. They do open really early at 5am though beginning 2018.

Very very slow service, unorganized. I highly advise against using this post office. Very disappointed.

I pay for a PO Box and work all week, closed Sundays...really? Not very cool for the people who work all week. This is something new and not a great policy.

Service sucks there slower than molasses and as dumd as you can get never on time lost mail phone service sucks jump threw hoops and get hung up on this post office shoud be shut down i go to seal beach or lakewood quick easy and fast and smart

In 13 months this PO has lost or mis-delivered 6 pay cks to my address. The Postmaster General at this location has stated on multiple occasions that my name is unusual and, the only one on mailman Georges route. And there is No reason why my mail should ever be Mis-delivered. Yet its the 24th, Nov, ...paycheck was processed on 11/24, and I still have not received delivery from Chicago, IL 10 days later.I wrote an 8 page letter last May 2014 listing all the incidences to that date where George has missed delivered, OR Refused to deliver packages that Ive Never had trouble receiving in the past. PostMaster-General, Oscar has simply had him go for an eye exam through their union.My credit has gone from an 800 + score down to 407 in 12 months, because of lost and misdelivered paychecks not reaching us for 2 to 4 weeks. Im about to be evicted, and yet they take no action against postman George. Since September 2014 this post office isnt answering their phones. Im wondering if theyre so overwhelmed with complaints that theyre simply not answering their phones anymore.

Weve been getting our delivery the last 10 years or more after 4pm, really would like to let someone else get late delivery for 10 years. We live at 3845 Farquhar, Los Alamitos 90720
