We used National Seating and Mobility in the past for my husbands power wheelchair and always had wonderful service. His insurance company didn’t allow it for several years, but now they do and we couldn’t be more thrilled. They just handled getting him a new chair. From the visit with the PT to determine his needs and measure him, to the in home delivery, Jackson, our tech, was wonderful! The fit of the chair is perfect and my husband has the features he needs to be independent. Thanks for the great service!

I love to look at the positive side to most things in life, but this office has very little customer service skills. I treated the office staff with respect. After some time I was calling frequently because things that should of taken 2-3 weeks were taking longer. After a while the office completely stopped answering my calls or leaving me on hold and then hanging up the phone. When I called back to leave a message it was not returned. Calling every week for the last two months and finally received one call back. Since I was being placed on hold and then disconnected, I had a family member call from a different phone and the office picked up the call. The reviews I have read seem to say the same thing. Someone always responds to the negative reviews, but clearly no one is doing anything to correct the problem. I understand that some things need more time than others but the lack of communication or regards to the clients need is unacceptable. I hope that no one in the office is ever in need of something as important as a wheelchair. Clearly this office is in need of management. I will like to find the contact information for upper management so that this can be addressed. I will definitely report this to the Social Services Department of Disability. If you are in need of a wheelchair, please find somewhere else. Read all the reviews before deciding this is the company you choose.

WORST COMPANY EVERRRR! I been waiting since April for my daughter bathing chair and they hangs all my calls never call me back when I do leave messages, my daughter is non mobility, 2 1/2 yr girl 30lbs they seem like they don’t care at all about your kids needs. I’m sick and tired of calling every day for a month for them to call me or give me any updates and nothing, even my daughter ppec calls give me the name Kayleen from Orlando that DOES HAVE MY DAUGHTER BATHING CHAIR, the lady took the phone call and when I was talking to her she did HANGUP ON ME like Wth ! Are you guys serious!!!

It’s been 4-5 months since we started the process of having repairs done to my wheelchair. NSM has been a complete PITA to work with. THEY messed up the paperwork that needed to be sent to my insurance and I don’t foresee them straightening out their mistakes anytime soon even though it started out as an easy fix (someone just failed to notate that items were worn and needing replaced). They also left me waiting for nearly an hour expecting their technician to show up to my home and nobody came. Trying to get a call back or even email for an update is like pulling teeth which isn’t surprising given how they ignored multiple requests from my insurance company who tried rectifying the situation before it became a huge issue like it is now. Thank God I have a dilapidated old manual chair that can be used as a backup but my powerchair has my ventilator attached to it and I need it in full working order sooner rather than later. I would not use this company again if I wasn’t forced to due to who my insurance is through. If you have the option to go elsewhere, I suggest you do. And no, I won’t be contacting the feedback email so don’t bother with your auto response. Pick up the phone and call me and let’s solve this problem. Thanks. 👍

These people are the worst. They pass the buck, dont communicate, and its now been going on 3 months and theyre trying to say that its the fault of the therapy company that my daughter still doesnt have her wheelchair yet he made it seem like it was so urgent that she get it.

We got paired with them from our Rehab hospital. The whole experience was awful. 5 months to get my custom wheelchair when insurance approved it within weeks. Poor customer service and days/weeks to get a return call. Had to pay over $1500 out of pocket due to them dropping the ball and a new insurance year starting. When delivery day finally came they didnt even show up or call and we spoke with them the day before to confirm. Terrible company.

No customer service and for a DME that sells wheelchair and vans they lack basic knowledge. Short version is started in Feb 2020 ordering a custom wheelchair for my daughter. The one they attempted to deliver could not be used in a handicap van or bus. And oh by the way it would cost another $300 for that option. After having the funds for six weeks they decided to order the replacement chair that could POSSIBLY be delivered in December 2020. In 10 months of dealing with the company do you think anyone but the funding specialist ($$$$$) could call me. Nope no manager or sales rep ever found the time to call me when I requested a call back. If they are this incompetent with a simple wheelchair do you really think I trust them with $80K van purchase. Sorry lost both sales and any future sales.

We received fantastic service. They were extremely knowledgeable about their products and the insurance company procedures. We could not be happier with the experience.

I am stranded at a shopping center at 6:45 AM on January 4th, 2019. Happy New Year to me! My mobility scooter made a horrible noise & broke down & thankfully someone helped me roll it to a safe place. It’s the 2nd time it has broken down in the past two months! I am in Naples, FL, & the company is in Tampa! Although they came down to look at it, & hit the reset button, as soon as they left it totally started screeching up a storm! I was forced to call a local repair person to fix it (& still took a week to get the part, during which time I was stranded). Despite being under warranty, I had to shell out $175 for labor that I could ill afford to spare as I am on disability. The part ordered was under warranty, so no cost for that. This scooter acts as my lungs & legs, so I cannot do without it! Have called the company repeatedly for help with upgrading this scooter to a sturdier model, & the last call I made to them in late December was to tell them it was acting up & to please at least fix this scooter. No one called me back. Now I am in this situation after getting the run around for two months!!!! Thanks, National Seating & Mobility!

Got the run around for about three months. My power chair had malfunction. I can not walk, they did not care how long it took. Do not use them.
