Their prices are so high, I needed to go to Walmart for fine pool salt and purchased 3 bags for their 2. I also found the same pool filters, and chemicals substantially less on Amazon. I prefer to buy locally, but they are often 15-25% more expensive.

My pool pump went down recently and I went to Pinch A Penny and Assistant Mgr. Mark helped me get the right pump and get all the proper gaskets and I reinstalled a new pump MYSELF! I am super happy with his help and I saved a lot of money and installed it myself! Thank you Mark you are awesome! Mark has helped me many times over the years with a new pool cleaner and other fixes. He seemingly knows everything about pool repair so if you need help ask for Mark! A++++++++++

Everyone is so helpful. They knew i was there for my elderly parents . they completed a water test and filled their 4 jugs of chlorine. Brought it out and put it in my vehicle for me with a smile. They were all very comforting!

Employees are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and now they even offer pool service. I take care of my own pool, but nice to know if I need it they are there.

Never had a bad experience. I dont understand these other reviews. Maybe competitors leaving reviews? I wasnt creepy enough to wait and watch how they interact with women. Never ripped me off. Their prices for Polaris parts are priced along with Amazon for the most part. I think the staff is decent. They seem to hire kids but thats what you find at other places too. I dont know, I know I never had a problem.

So snnoying. 4 trips in one day. 1. Ordered part. 2 returned to pick up part. Wrong part. 3. Returned again to hopefully pick up correct part. Part was correct, but the card reader wasnt working. And trip #4. Returned with cash. No apologies by management or staff. Just jokes. Apparently I have nothing better to do but to run back and forth to the pool supply store all day long!

Friendly & helpful staff they always carry out my chlorine jugs to my car and write down my instructions for pool care after they test the water for free.

Never had a problem with them until the manager got very frustrated with me about not giving him my email address during check out. He was extremely rude and very determined for some reason to get my email address. My wife thought I was silly until she went in there and had the same experience during her checkout. Almost to the point that he wasn’t going to sell her chlorine until he got her email address. Ever since then I started going to the store in Altamonte Springs where they are way more customer friendly. Even brings the jugs of heavy chlorine out to your car where as the store in Longwood does not. I’ll never go back there again

Without notice they cancelled the pool service and were very rude when asked why! I would recommend a different Pinch a Penny as there are others in Sarasota.

Never going back to the pinch a penny in Longwood on 434. They are rude and dont care about their customers. Had a jug filled with chlorine and they knew it was leaking but I didnt see it until I was home. Returned jug and they wanted me to buy another jug. And thats all I have to say about that!!

The guys working here are not very knowledgeable about pool products. They are creepy to just about every women that I have seen them interact with. (leering and gross). prices are way more expensive than anywhere Ive been. Basically, an all around bad experience whenever Ive been there.
