Not the place to go if you are having anxiety and panic attacks driving after a car accident. They stated they would only see me if they received a letter from my insurance that they would cover the cost, regardless of having mental health services covered under my Insurance. Insurance doesnt work like that. Private would be secondary to PIP and 3rd party car insurance. My private insurance would cover whats denied by these, or be reimbursed by these insurances. They cant say what would be covered until after based on what these other insurances cover. This clinic doesnt accept PIP, and they wouldnt schedule based on my private insurance without this notification. My insurance provider tried calling and discussing the matter, and was told because the accident claims havent been settled they couldnt determine a diagnosis and whether or not I was having these issues based on the accident. A diagnosis shouldnt have anything to do with whether or not a claim is settled. They should treat the patient and leave the claim up to the insurance companies to figure out.
