Come right in you get weighed up, make sure you hold on to receipt though since you will need it as you exit. If youre using a trailer, be sure youre able to back it up very well because the lanes for disposing of your goods are neuro and on a hill making it somewhat challenging. The price per ton is nice but there are small fees for things like TVs and tires.

They have not picked up out trash for over a month. If I you do not pick it up this week. Im dumping all over the fxkng street. Its your problem now.

Great dump pricing compared to other like businesses in a 50 mile radius. Prices for disposal rates are in pictures below. Dumping area was cleaned at least once an hour for nails and such. Conveyer worked and there were many workers to help or accommodate with questions if needed.

This transfer station is clean, well laid out and well managed by the staff. THE staff are friendly, and do a good job.

God forbid you miss a day. Weve been calling for 3 days now for someone to come get our can. Weve left voicemails as well. Nobody will call us back. We called city of kelso and they even told us to call waste control. I dont know why they have a phone is they never answer or call people back. So now our garbage is piling up in our driveway. We pay for garbage, not like its free.

My mom has not had her recycle bin emptied numerous times. We have called, e mailed, talked to supervisor, who promised it wouldnt happen again, and it continues to not be picked up. She is disabled and cannot keep taking it in and out for it to not be emptied. Totally unacceptable!!

Line was long to get in but moved rather quickly. Once through the first scale it went really fast.

Cleanest waste control Ive ever been in. I would recommend going to this location over anywhere else. If I still lived in Clark county I would still drive to the kelso location.

Super clean and efficient! In and out of there without the wait! I love the conveyor belt and the alarms. Theyre always on top of each department for drop offs. So modern compared to the dumps i remember! No seagulls!!!

The guys were very helpful in directing where I should take my bags. I also dumped a broken carpet shampooer and still only paid the minimum.

We had a 20 yard drop box brought to our house when we were moving out. They go over fees over the phone but nothing is ever sent to you in writing... so informational overload! Then SUPRISE! You get the bill and they have all of these fees they charge you.Would have been cheaper to make 17 trips to and from the dump! Fees to drop and pick up, fees for mileage to and from (over $5/ mile!! Which they dont break down for you on the phone - you need to calculate that information yourself), fees for the tonnage, etc ... and then the supervisor tells me (when I call about any credit back because a 20 yard dumpster costed us $650) that they actually didnt charge me an out of county fee so we got pretty lucky there. Um ok dude.We couldnt use Waste Connections (WE TRIED!) because we were in Waste Controls territory... but somehow we are out of county so you pay extra.Not to mention they have horrible wait times and lack of follow up and follow through. Multiple times we spent 30 minutes on hold to have to leave a message and nobody called is back. When we finally got to talk to a person they said they would call is back the next day for payment and scheduling - never called so we had to keep calling and repeat hold times and messages.Do not reccommend.

Great dump/recycle place. Easy to get to but the drive way was kind of easy to miss. Nice all around. Its indoors, and they have a Conveyor belt for easy dumping. This waste control building is pretty clean and the smell is not horrible. Great employees oh and also they have dog treats at the exit.

You need to dispose of trash? This is the place.Pay attention to the signs. Read them. Ask questions if youre confused -- the people working here are great.The entrance can be sudden or difficult to spot. At the time this review was written, Google would direct me to the exit of the facility, not the entrance.There are weigh scales. This means you shouldnt crowd behind the person in front of you (in a vehicle) simply because there is a line forming. One vehicle on a weigh scale at a time.Lastly, it stinks inside some if the buildings. But you should already be ready for that.

Staff there were helpful in supporting disposal of hazardous waste.

The customer service there is above most. The all treat you like you are the best part of there day. Its the little things that make the day just a bit better.

For the amount of traffic, and volume this place sees they keep things going rather smoothly.

I always turn in my copper items here.They are very nice.Young kids are very helpful.They seem to pay a little less than other recyclers.I dont care, its alot more convienient than others.

Usually a pretty smooth experience when it comes to recycling or taking trash. Highly recommend going early as possible. It can get pretty busy after about 11am but thats not their fault.

Very small transfer station. Especially busy on weekend with only one spotter directing traffic flow. The yard debris area was so full it made it difficult to back in and have space to dump without impeding the waiting line. Very unorganized way of doing things.

Here we go again! Our garbage was picked up Friday along with our garbage tote. Why, who knows? My bill is paid. Called to get a new tote and all I get is bad attitude along with hang up. The service was poor before, now with a NEW corporate owner from out of State, I don’t see how it can improve. This GARBAGE service is GARBAGE!

Went on a Sunday. Super quick, quiet, and cheap. The smell is super minimal, the process for getting in, unloaded, and out is great. Minus one star for the Thin Blue Line sticker posted on the exit cashiers window.

Its waste control, it smells bad but how is it supposed to smell? Everyone has been friendly except one person at the entering scales. We tend to make a weekly run.

Clean for a waste control, back up to the conveyor not into trash like other facilities. Orderly, well laid out, helpful friendly staff. Good prices.

Easy to dump garbage.

Easy in, easy out. Beware of their pricing if you are bring in heavy loads. I brought in a $40 load of railroad ties without realizing the per-ton pricing! However, the weigh-out staff worked with me and I was able to bring back full payment with my next load. Great customer service and an awesome resource for non-biomass waste materials!

My two garbage cans got knocked over (not by the garbage guy) and the garbage truck driver hopped out of his truck and picked them up for me. It’s the little things that make a difference. I appreciated that very much.Also, got a quick response when my garbage can wasn’t put out in time for the truck! There was no charge and no issue having someone come out and take my trash.

Its usually easy to drop off recyclables and trash. The recyclables area is quite clean. The trash drop off area is hosed off occasionally to keep it clean.

Waste control is always great. Staff are so helpful.

Not sure of your drivers name, but he is a big man with a full beard that services us old fogies at a 55+ park inside the city limits of Woodland. This morning my recycle bin accidentally fell over and he got out of the truck to upright it before I could get outside to thank him for being here and dealing with all the strange things that go on in here. My hat is off to that man!!!!

We just moved to the area and made a trip to Waste Controls recycle center and I have to say it is the nicest facility I have ever gone to. Very organized and well run facility. Very nice facility for the entire surrounding communities.

Love going to one place that can take care of all my needs. Very easy to navigate their facility and prices are super low...even from the $11 that the landfill used to be. Appreciate their hours and facility. First rate!

Whatever the girls name is that answers the phone is painfully unhelpful. Zero reception skills... should probably find a new job if you clearly hate it that much. Doesn’t introduce herself, doesn’t ask how she can help just says “waste control.” And waits.... in awkward silence. Until I realized she was waiting for me to say a formal Hi & ask my question/comment. Very awkward and not courteous whatsoever. She was extremely rude. And looking at other reviews, seems like I’m not the only one that thinks this.

The nicest facility Ive ever visited. I had an issue with the cost of my monthly garbage run increasing by about double. I contacted them thinking the scales were off and they contacted me asap offering a refund if I came down and reweighed and some advice. The cost was only $7 so I waited till my next run and they were right. Apparantly I was running up on the curb showing a lighter weight just like they said. Awesome customer service and great response time. Thanks guys and ladys.

Customer service is horrible. Been skipped by the trash guys 2 weeks in a row now. Office cant do anything about it? Called the office 15 seconds after I watched the truck pass my house with can on the curb for the second week in a row. Everyone we talk to has a really horrible attitude and acts like were at fault.Edit 11/2/19: still a pain to work with.

This is the second time this month that my recycling hasnt been picked up on time. The first time was due to weather, so I understand that. This time theres no reason. I put my cans in the same place every week, so Im not sure why the passed over me. I looked up their Saturday hours on Google, and it said theyre open until 5:30, so I decided to call. A woman answered, and I said, Hello, I live on ___ Way and my recycle hasnt been dumped yet. Can you tell me if there will be another truck coming to empty it? She replied, I dont know, youll have to call back on Monday when were open. I responded with Okay, thank you. I waited for a response, but the woman just sat quietly on the phone waiting for me to hang up. No youre welcome or have a nice day. Nothing. First of all, the woman who answered my call had terrible customer service. And second, why would you answer the phone if youre claiming youre not open today?

We are grateful to have trash service in a rural area outside city limits. Originally, we had to take our recycling into Kelso 25 minutes from our home. Waste Control took the initiative and set up recycling on the west end of town. Their office staff has been courteous and helpful ready to meet our needs. Thank you Waste Control!

My main concern is being able to contact the individuals that have the answers to questions. simple things, as what do they take and where, how do you want it separated, do you take autos, if so what has to be done?I have called during the week and 9 times out of 10 cannot reach anyone to ask questions. but we are open.....this does not tell if or if not on things I need to get rid of, such as old trucks......

Apparently these guys are in a hurry to leave! My husband pulled up with a truck bed full of garbage before 5:25 and the guy looked at him and closed/locked the gate. So if you plan on going after 5pm you should probably reconsider. The office closes at 5pm so no one to call either. I get wanting to go home for the day but when people don’t get off work until 5 and are there before 5:30 they shouldn’t be closing and locking the gate early unless they change the hours or let costumers know. Super annoying when you have to go home and unload all the garbage (so you can go to work in the morning) then load it all up again to get there the next day and them possibly closing early again...

Happy 1990. This company does not take electronic payments, only checks....but is the only garbage collection service available to me. Very grumpy customer service. Certainly not about a customer centered approach, then again, they dont need to be.

Why in this day and age can you not access your account or pay your bill on line? And why if you receive a check ( an archaic way of doing business ) does it take 3 wks. for you to process it, so that it clears my acct.??The guys who pick up the cans are great, the way the office is run, not so much.

Company doesnt return phone calls to help solve issues for services given to our neighbors across the street. Their garbage can is left out multiple days in a row on our side of the road. Most of the time over loaded and spilling garbage onto street within a few feet of our mail box.
