I took my dog to Taylor Veterinary Clinic today for the first time, I recently moved to Longview from out of state and read their reviews and knew I had to go in. I was greeted kindly by the front office associate. The assistant I who I first saw in the exam room was extremely kind and knowledgeable and Dr. McClimon was so good with my dog and knowledgeable about what I came in for. His devotion and passion for animals was obvious to me from the beginning. I highly recommend going into Taylor Vet Clinic for a basic check up and judge for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

The staff at Taylor Clinic so caring as we have put down several of our pets over the years. It is a very difficult time when a pet owner has to put down their pets. The staff are so very understandable and so caring during the last moments of your pets life. They are upfront about the cost of their procedures and very affordable. I would highly recommend Taylor Clinic.

I called as they opened on a Saturday morning and they fitted into one of the last few open slots that morning! My cat had a tick that needed to be removed soon too! Upbeat & caring & talked to me about cost & procedure…. I recently switched, because the other well known Vet in town lost all of the above service attributes over the COVID19 pandemic changed protocols.

I took my sweet boy in after he woke up one day and couldnt see. It was terrifying for him and I scooped him up and headed to the vets office immediately. They could not have been more helpful and caring. They were wonderful with my Puppy (yes thats his name lol) They are truly the best vet in town. Every person in that office is amazing.

Taylor Veterinary Clinic is wonderful! My dogs go in with tails wagging. I’ve never had an issues with being kept up-to-date on my pets health and needs. They are very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Our puppy was dying of kidney failure and we had no idea why. Dr. McClimon and his staff are outstanding! They diagnosed him with Addisons disease and he has been doing better than he ever has with the treatment prescribed. We have 4 pets and would not take them to anyone else.

Very helpful with getting my dogs healed up from some nasty mange. I can’t even tell they ever had it. My dogs are sooo much happier, and their beautiful grey coats are shining more than ever now. I highly recommend.

We love this vet. He is very thorough, exceedingly kind and gentle, loves our fur babies, and provides high quality care. He remembers them when they come in and is always pleased to see them. Fantastic bedside manner. Even when our pets are in pain, they trust him and his examination.

Great price for exam. My ex vet wanted 70 bux for a exam just to get a rabbies shot. This is my new vet obviously. Fair prices.

Um rude af for no reason.

The first time I brought my dog here was earlier in the year. I met with the Male Veterinarian. My dog was having missing patches of fur and blackness around his ears and was scratching alot. The doctor said he thinks it could be a yeast infection. So we paid for the antibiotic and prescription. It was pretty pricey. After a while his fur started to come back, but his ears were still a little black. We continued to get him itch relief pills. Over time however, his scratching got more and more aggressive, to the point where he would bleed a bit on his face. So we took him back to the vet last week. This time we met with the Female Veterinarian. In my opinion, she seemed as if she has more experience and is more capable then the other Veterinarian. She believed that my dog had an ear infection. So we paid for the treatment, the antibiotics, and the examination. In total, it came out to around $320. It was expensive. We were told that he would need to come back next week for a check-up. Just in the past week his ears have been slightly improving. So today I had to work, so my father and brother had taken him in for me. This time for the check-up it was the Male Veterinarian. When my dad got back he said the total price for the check-up was about $200! I was shocked that a check-up for my dog came out to $200! My father says that after the Veterinarian came back out with my dog, he told him what he had treated. My father never said that they could treat him, nor did they even ask him! I was furious because I dont understand what they were treating! His ears were just treated last week and we still havent finished using the antibiotics yet! So they apparently had to treat him again! I am very upset that a single check-up cost me $200! They werent even supposed to treat anything! I honestly dont think the Male Veterinarian even knows what he is doing. I am definitely never using this Vet ever again. I suggest if you dont want to scammed by these guys to choose a different Vet. One that actually asks before just choosing to treat you dog and takes your money.

We had a problem we wanted looked at on our little dog sooner rather than later on a Saturday. They had no appointments but we came in for a walk in appointment. All the vet techs spoke very sweetly to all the animals we saw them with, including ours. The price is affordable (especially compared to other areas vets). Dr. McClinon was very nice and put us at ease.We are a multi-pet household with cats and dogs and we will DEFINITELY be coming back.

My husband and I moved to Longview Spring of 2019. We gave our daughter her childhood dog (Sadie) before we left our hometown. Sadie was on the decline before we gave her to our daughter, but she was happy to have her.At 17 years old, she was starting to be down in her hips pretty bad & even urinated on herself to keep from moving at times. Our daughter brought her to Longview last week for a final visit and made the hard decision it was time to put her down. This was heartbreaking and we did not have a vet here in Longview. We found Taylor Veterinarian Clinic & I must say I have never felt more compassion in putting one of my pets down than the Dr & the Tech showed us that day. They have my full respect for how we were treated. Our daughter plans on moving here and I know she will no doubt use this clinic for her two remaining pets. The vet and staff are very professional. Took the time to explain everything about my cats health and the exam. The vet and the staff were very patient with my cat and that he is hard to handle. I feel confident taking my fur baby to them.

Felt comfortable dropping my dog off. Returned to pick her up and was checked out by a older short haired blond who repeatedly called me a boy. I am 60 years old and told her that I stopped being a BOY years ago. She laughingly said she was talking about the dog. No more of my money will be spent there. Thanks for letting me know how ignorant you are!I am a 100% disabled veteran who has PTSD and anger issues that I am trying to control. The clinic has all these patriotic signs on a shelf behind the receptionists desk and dont what it means to be patriotic.

I was in and out quickly, vet was knowledgeable and offered a verity of med options.

Been going to Taylor Clinic for 5 years now, staff is always nice and attentive to my fur babies. Ive meet the new vet Dr. Nick Mclemin nice guy, answered all my questions, even though it keep them there late I never felt rushed so they could go home. Seems to really care about the quality of life for my senior a 14 yr old Dachshund.

Friendly Staff and the Veterinarian was very understanding, and helped me understand the symptoms of my dog and how we were able to better address my concerns. I wasn’t able to make an appointment anywhere else, due to short notice and Taylor Vet allows for walk-ins!

Came in for a last minute vet appointment to get my new rescue chipped and was in and out pretty quick. Staff was extremely pleasant to deal with and helped answer any and all questions I had. 😊

Experts at all animals and I have taken generations of dogs there. The vet is amazing and so are all of his staff. Even if your animal bites they work with you.

Tried to get them to see our dog that had been seizing for 2 hrs on and off. emergency vet closed. Stated they did not have appt. open. Stated emergency vet opens at 1:00 pm. It is now 8:45 am. Told them our dog wont last that long. They said sorry. I understand maybe they dont see emergent situations, but, draw your own conclusion.

Simply HORRIBLE. I DO NOT recommend this clinic. Our dog died to a misdiagnoses of parvo, a known strand of it but he just addressed it as parvo. This misdiagnoses lead to my dogs death. The medication itself was what did it for him.

UPDATE 2019:Was desperately needing help with our dog again so we went back only to find that there was a new veterinarian, Dr. McClimon. He has a TOTALLY DIFFERENT PERSONALITY than Dr. Taylor!! He is so nice and cheerful!! He was eager to help us find out what was wrong with Chief! His staff is so much nicer too!!! Dr. Taylors daughter is no longer there now so that is a big plus also!!! I was so nervous to go in to get help for our dog because of the problem I had with that lady a couple years ago! Dr. McClimon is awesome!! He was able to help us find that our dog is diabetic and he showed me how to give him insulin shots. I changed my rating from a one star to a five star rating now due to this great staff at Taylor now!! Its exciting to know I have a great place I can take my pets to now. THANK YOU DR. MCCLIMON AND STAFF!!!!2017: (When Dr. Taylor was there.)The staff is very rude. Went in to have my dog helped out today and a blonde staff member who claimed to be daughter of the veterinarian was very sarcastic with me. (Found out later that is WAS actually the vets daughter!) I asked her to please calm down.I was just needing help because my dog was in a lot of pain, and she got even more heated with me. Told them I would no longer be using them. UPDATE: Gave them a star rating of ONE STAR when this happened back in 2017. This is when Dr. Taylor was the veterinarian then. Dr. Taylor seemed to always be in a bad mood or irritable.
