This is my first term here at Vista. Its very hands on, fast pace, and overall good classes. The instructors are very kind, knowledgeable, really know the ropes. That always a plus.Im glad the classes are smaller because I feel able to ask my instructors a question because they dont have 40 people in a class.Im doing the MA program set to graduate in 2022. So far so good.I will update as times passes!

Vista College makes you feel like your apart of a family. They stand behind their word and make every option open so that you can make graduation and become successful in the work place and stable with a career and to be productive within the community. I am currently attending vista college and I love it! Financial aid was so easy to apply for. If you need help with anything you just ask and get it! The staff here is amazing! Its hands on, and EVERYTHING you learn here you use on the outside. I have heard so many assistants come speak to our class about their experiences from here. This school is worth it and is the best!

I wasn’t sure what direction I wanted to go with school and where to start but I chose to try Vista College and it’s been the best decision. Small classes with great instructors! If you aren’t sure where to start then I suggest starting here because it’s a smaller environment and the people are great. 😃

My recruiters were Jessica and Randi and they were awesome and helped me get the confidence to go for my dreams of cosmetology and one day owning my own salon. I am loving my experience at Vista college!!! The clients that we get in the salon are so great.

This school is amazing....the staff are friendly and the students are willing to learn. The staff are also supportive of their students. When the students are down the faculty are always trying to help or figure out ways to help with the needs. They are always doing something fun and interesting to keep us inspired

I attended the Medical Assistant program because I enjoy working in the medical field. The instructors I had were awesome! They were experienced and knowledgeable. You get out of the program what you put into it. Ive been a certified Medical Assistant for a couple of years and its been worth it!

They take the time to ensure that you fully comprehend what youre learning. They genuinely care about you and your future, often going out out their way to provide one on one time and resources to help you flourish in your field of study. I would strongly Vista to anyone looking for a better future. They offer so many great courses for different industries that will always be needed.

Pretty sure this school is not regionally accredited. My mother and I went in there and saw the teachers treating the students horribly. Putting them down in front of customers. Playing favorites with students. Just being incredibly inappropriate and rude. Dont go to school here. Dont spend your money there.

HORRIBLE!!!!! They are a scam! They were charging Federal Student Loan and Aid 5,000 per semester for DROMS the DO NOT have. They refuse to give me my associates degree! I have filed complaints to every agency I can. Vista, You will be SUED!!!!! I wish I could give them a zero. Cherri Osborne

Well my experience was a rollercoaster, but it was worth it. My goal was basically to finish the MA program to prove to myself that I could do it, and to push me to go further and guess what? As of April 2017 I am an EMPLOYED Certified Medial Assistant and no matter what any of these reviews say, I am proud of it. Also as of August 2018 I will be in Nursing School continuing my education so thank you for the head start Vista I really appreciate it.

This school is a complete rip-off stay far far away from here if you can. They charge me a balance and wants me to pay the balance when I only attended class here for a week. I was told credits dont transfer as well as it would be hard to obtain a job with vista college certificate. I will not recommend this horrible school to anyone. The classes are loud and overly full. The teacher dont know half the stuff they are teaching as well as the tuition is extremely expensive. So save yourself a debt and lack of education stay away from here. Unprofessional I had to call way to Beaumont Tx in order to get information about my fafsa. Smh if I could give 5 zeros I would do so.

I had a mixed experience. The tuition is outrageous, yet there is course content and an externship in the MA program that you dont really find anywhere else. As someone who is going to pursue a nursing degree in the future, that background knowledge will be helpful. Other than the tuition, my only other complaint is that some of the teachers know nothing about what they are doing. The may have been an MA back in the day, but barely know the content they are teaching. I feel like in order to be an instructor, you must have experience and take tests on these courses yourself, as well has take some sort of teaching course. One class was literally the instructor reading off the slideshows and the study guide wasnt always what was on the test. I learned quickly to just read the whole chapters regardless of what the instructor told us about the tests. All of that aside, most of the instructors really care about you and your learning journey. The classes are small and they offer free tutoring so its very hard to fail unless you really just dont care.

My best friend just went to get her hair color corrected at this school today. First off, I manage a salon in Kansas so Im familiar with color corrections. They applied 40 vol to her already very processed hair and she is very sensitive to lighteners. She left with orange hair, and chemical burns on her scalp. She has to go to the doctor tomorrow to seek medical treatment. So she basically paid (the instructor) $80 to ruin her hair and scalp. Now she has to wait till her scalp heals, and go to a regular salon to have it fixed. Unacceptable.

Vista College was a complete waste of my time. They were very unorganized. All the classes were out of order. They were grabbing at straws to find any instructor they could for the classes I was taking which resulted in me learning absolutely nothing. Multiple times, I brought this to their attention and got nothing but false promises.

Do NOT come here. $22,800 for a dental assistant program... I would have been 15,000 dollars in debt if I had gone through with this. The dental assistant program at Kilgore is only $8,000. I decided that was not for me and am going to KC instead. They will not pick up my calls to talk to me, return my messages, or see me.

DO NOT GO HERE. IT IS CRAZY EXPENSIVE & THE FASTEST WAY TO GET INTI STUDENT LOAN DEBT. Go to a regular community college that offers the same programs for half the price! I was there for only 6 months & everything collected to around 11xxx. After all my fasfa & deductibles I still owed 6xxx. No school is worth this. I shouldve listened to everyone who warned me before attending. Please avoid this wallet draining school. Its a joke.

The worst experience ever!!! My daughter went in there for cut and color. Came out crying, with bleach white hair, fried on the ends and told she had head lice. She was humiliated in front of everyone in there. She is getting married in 2 months, her hair is ruined and BTW... No head lice, we went to her original salon, they said no Lice. No suprise to me. I knew she didnt have it but they sent her out with her hair matted and wet, still in the towel. Thanx for nothing!!!

I agree its a waste of time 2 years later still no job in the medical field. I wouldnt recommend nobody the MA program. The staff make it sound great at the beginning but when you dont have no healthcare experience it just wasting money and time that I could of went somewhere else to pursue something else. I learn from this bs school when I could of went to local college and have a good career by now. I hope one of vista staff would contact me instead of people always acting like they out of office or that person dont work there no more. I should of known better after the first month when an so call instructor cant read medical term and she claims she been this and that for years. Maybe they only help certain people with job placement but overall this has been the worst experience ever. Just reach out vista i would love to hear what ya staff got to say about students that in my situation.

AND THE ONE CODE THEY GAVE ME WAS THE WRONG TEST. THEY REFUSED TO FIX THEIR ERROR. THEY DO NO JOB PLACEMENT HELP AT ALL. THIS WHOLE SCHOOL IS A JOKE. I AM TRYING TO SUE AND GET MY MONEY BACK. I HATE THIS PLACE AND IT RUINED MY CHANCE AT A FRESH START BEING A SINGLE DAD. I HOPE THIS SCHOOL GETS SHUT DOWN FOREVER AND KARMA HITS THEM BACK HARD

They lie about helping with job placement in 8 months the coordinator only had placed me with 2 interviews. The CCMA job were I worked was from my walking into there office and leaving my resume. They rush you through your courses and when you try to get tutoring for classes, they are not available.

They destroyed my hair, humiliated me, told everyone there I had head lice. BTW I dont! I just went to my normal hair salon and she said there is absolutely NO lice. Im devastated!

I’m attending the Vista College in Longview for Cosmetology school! From the point I called the school and talked to Jessica, and until now I’ve been taken care of by Randi as my representative, Cyndi as my teacher and Rhonnia from admissions! They have guided me through everything!
