Will never use them ever again. I gave Sandi the benefit of the doubt the first time I used her. Even talked to the manager the first time was given her again. Over 2 months to refinance my house. No commission should be given. I’ve been given the run around. Told I have to go through different options and it is ridiculous. The whole point of refinancing was for a lower interest rate and help pay for wedding expenses. With it being continued to be drawn out at this point we won’t close before the wedding. Oh and can’t use anything that will affect our credit.

I had occasion to utilize the mortgage services of Guild mortgage right before the pandemic started. Needless to say it was chaos and any and everything that could slow things down did slow things down. However, Jon Trussell and his staff went above and beyond to facilitate our needs in order to accomplish completion of the loan. I was impressed by the perseverance and tenacity of John and of his relentless pursuit I’ve information to get us out of a hotel.There are many options for people to get a mortgage but if you want somebody that cares has empathy and is truly an extra miler then Mr. Trussell is your choice.Over the last year I have referred several people to his office and all of them were treated respectfully and have answers to the questions.Do you need a mortgage this is the man to see. This branch of Guild in Longview seemed thrilled to have me in their office. Jonathan met in person with me and easily filled out the application for me. I didnt have to search around on my own and it was quite efficient. It was so pleasant to be in a small town branch and just a walk across the hall from my Realtor too. Jonathan also sends me informative home value updates and he sent my closing papers again at end of the year to remind me to deduct closing costs on taxes. This was an extra courtesy! They even sent me a box of truffles after the closing.I will use them again!Brenda

My husband and i got to work with Mike at Guild Mortage, he was amazing, from the first appointment tru all the paper work he had to do for us to get our loan approve he was great! Everytime we call he would anwser we questions we had.He was always in positive mood.The receptionist there too, she is super sweet and nice, I seriously recommend this place for everyone trying to get their forver home, amazing people!

Jon Trussell at Guild deserves way more then 5 Stars. This is the second time we have worked with him and we couldnt be happier! When we first started to look into buying a home we worked with another company for 6 months, they were always needing more paperwork. We met Jon and with in a week we were approved and house shopping! Working with him and his team is so easy and you are always able to get someone on the phone to answer all your questions. There have even been times when we received emails on weekends and after hours when it was something that needed to be addressed same day. Few months ago we started shopping again for another house and of corse reached out to Jon, as always the process was a breeze and I felt confident knowing he was handling all my paper work!! 100% would recommend !!!

Jon is horrible lied and had to extended a few different times because he didn’t have everything submitted to the title company. I started the process is November and didn’t close until May because of him. Cost me a lot of money out of pocket for rent I wasn’t planning on paying. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

My friends had this guy for their morage broker and he screwed them over for months. He took advantage of the fact that they were first time home buyers. He withheld information and went weeks without communicating with them. He failed to tell them about separate buyer and seller closing costs even though they told him from the beginning they would be covering all the closing costs in the transaction. The entire time he told them the closing costs would be in the 5-6k range and the week before signing he gave them a number that was almost 10k. It shouldnt take over 4 months to buy a house especially since the house belonged to a relative of theirs.
