Great Service, got me in for my state inspection quickly and even helped me install my wiper blades at no extra charge

My wife and I have a 1971 GMC Sierra Grande. The truck was originally equipped from the factory with AC. I did some conversions at home on the truck to change it over from R12 to R134A. We do 99% of the work on our vehicles as well as our own maintenance so its very rare for us to use any shop. This AC system needed to be charged after I did updates and we dont have the equipment to do that. 501 did an amazing job! I had cross-threaded one of the fittings which they went above and beyond the call of duty to fix. Ryan kept in constant communication with me on what they were doing. After charging it the compressor started squealing so they kept it an extra day to make some more fine tuning adjustments. I could not be any happier with their communication, professionalism, automotive knowledge and general concern that our vehicle was fixed correctly and at a very fair price. Great job 501!

I was told that the Flywheel on my starter had chunks missing, the bolts were wrong, & the alignment dowel was missing by someone else.Without any hesitation we contacted the absolute Best in the Business!! Although that wasnt the issue...NO ONE ELSE IN LONGVIEW handles flywheels. When Elijah said they did...I knew I was in good hands: An absolute MASTER mechanic with an All-star team of mechanics. They assembled my starter: removed & replaced. And MADE a bushing for the starter bolt.

Maybe their work is top notch? Maybe they have the best service in East Texas? Who knows? They won’t answer their phone so I’ll just move along to another automotive shop.

501 Automotive just does not care. I had to constantly call about my vehicle when they said they would call me. Never met time hacks, over budget. The quality of work is trash as my truck still is not road ready. The customers before me with all 5 stars, I am hesitant to believe they are legitimate. Here I will lay out some details for those that are curious as to why none of my vehicles or family members vehicles will be serviced here again..They are nothing more than a glorified backyard mechanics garage. After the lack of quality work and customer service I received, I felt it necessary​ to create an account on here to warn others of the scam that this place is. Long story short I dropped off an F150 with fuel pump and transmission issues. I was told that my vehicle would be done in about a month​ and that the technicians would have my truck road ready. Now at TWO months waiting time I was finally​ told that the truck is ready. I had a good45-minute​e argument over the price of what the owner (Elijah) wanted me to pay. Though I was able to talk him down, the $2700 I paid in good faith of a strong running pick up was in vain. The vehicle wouldnt even make it to my house and I live 15 min away! While stranded on the side of the road I called the owner and he showed no remorse or really any care to help out other than the fact that I should bring it back to his shop! HAH! What a joke this guy is, he hides behind fired employees for the keeping my truck twice as long. And ultimately​ when you look at my invoice they did not even touch the transmission which was PROBLEM NUMBER ONE! I hope this review helps others out as I highly recommend​ taking your vehicle elsewhere. With nearly $3000 invested in​ this truc,​k its basically a giant paperweight​ in my driveway. This sort of work shouldnt be legal.

Good place to take your truck to be fixed

I was definately unhappy with the service. Spent 900 dollars to have some issued repaired on my truck. About two weeks later same issues and trouble codes came back. Took my truck back. After about a week in their shop they wanted me to fork out more money to have this issue fixed. Not only did i not get priority when i had to return the truck, they could not give me a definite answer on what the problem was, and wanted me to throw out more money. Never again. Ended up taking my truck to Automotive Super Center on McCann St./Spur 63. They had it fixed in three days.

The place was great awesome staff and the owner was very accomidating. My truck was repaired quick and right and the price was very fair and reasonable.

Friendly staff and excellent service. Will most certainly be going back.
