I received a text from a z trip recruiter who didnt care to check if my number was on the do not call/text list. So, if someone sold you my juicy number, you should make sure you check the do not call/text registry before you get slapped with a $500 fine PER instance. Basing off these reviews, the brand needs some serious working on. Especially if the employees are advocating for the company but their own agenda. First impressions of the company are, poor customer service, low driver availability, lack luster competitive advantage, poor marketing and poor customer oriented objectives. The list goes on. I hope this company reanalyzes the individuals working for them and takes the opportunity to build a reputable competitive brand as they have more than a window of opportunity to do so.
Z Trip is the absolute worst taxi company in the nation. They take the cake for the most unreliable service you could ever ask for. They blatantly tell you on the phone that they cannot guarantee a ride when you call to schedule a ride. The drivers intentionally leave you hanging for over an hour, and lie to you about the arrangements they make with you while it was pre-arranged for a pickup time personally with the driver. Z-Trip fails to provide the services that they have to offer. I continually ask, why do you offer a service that you cannot provide?

I reserved a taxi for the following day and called back to confirm it. Next day they didnt show up. I called when they were supposed to be there and the automatic reply informed me that they were looking for a driver to pick me up. I took a Lyft and never heard from them again.

I called ztrip to reserve a taxi for a 10 mile local ride. The scheduled time came and went. I called ztrip and was told they were attempting to locate a driver for me. Since when does a taxi dispatch h NOT have a phone or radio contact with all srivers? In any case I was told I would be called as soon as they were sure he was on his way to get me. One hour and 20 minutes later after four calls to ztrip with an identical response, I was able to find another taxi service that actually sent a driver to get me in approximately 5 minutes after my call. There is no possibility I will ever use or recommend ztrip. It is one thing to make me wait. It is far worse they would not proactively tell me the terrible service they were expecting me to put up with.
DONT USE THIS BUSINESS I tried to use this business and I called they said they will have someone here within the next 5 hours. I called back 5 hours later and they tell me they don’t have it in their system, so they transferred me to a different state because they can’t tell the difference between Louisville, CO. Or Louisville, KY.
Beginning at 6:30 am began calling for cab! Called every 1/2 hours till 9:30 am. No cab available, not enough drivers! Had to walk on CRUTCHES with broken 🦶 👣💔 foot
I ordered a cab in the evening for the next morning since I had an appointment and my car was in the shop--when the cab didnt show, I was told that I had canceled the cab that morning by phone...oh no...by the internet. They couldnt provide a cab for me and I ended up having to beg a neighbor to take me. Ive had two other problems with them--never try and get a cab in the afternoon--it cant be done. Unbelievable!
Horrible company. Confines to pick us up go to airport last night. Did not show up this morning. Called multiple times only to get run around saying they had no car. They did not care we were missing our flight nor did they call back after saying they would.

I use to work for them. I left the company because the company takes more money than the driver could make, leaving the driver in debt. I refused to overcharge my passengers and even gave free or discount flat rate rides to help people out. I would get frustrated because other drivers wouldnt take their jobs seriously, and so I would drive out of my jurisdiction to pick up customers. Yeah, I got yelled at by passengers and even got hit by one for being late to a job that wasnt technically mine. Uber and Lyft are more reliable. Ladies, dont take Metro Taxi, the men try too hard to hook up with you and it gets predatory.

Absolutely horrible. My grandfather was released from UC Longs peak hospital. His ride was scheduled prior to his release. After waiting nearly 2 hours in the breezeway of the hospital we were told they were still looking for an available driver. Absolutely terrible customer service. We ended up calling and Uber and they showed up within 10 minutes. I hope this company goes out of business. Eefff you Ztrip!!!!!!

One star is too good for this non-service! On 4/24 after being released from the ER at UC Longspeak hospital in Longmont. I called a z cab for a ride home. Five calls and 2 hours later still no z cab. The receptionist in the lobby called for me several times. Two times my scheduled trip was cancelled by z Trip. The last time z trip was contacted the dispatch person told the receptionist There are people in front of her you know! After 2 hours of waiting, at 2:30 in the morning, I left the hospital and walked home with pain medications in my system. If anything would have happened to me Z Trip would have a lawsuit on their hands!
Tried to order a taxi 1 hour before was told no problem they will be here to pick me up. Called to see if my taxi was on its way because it was late..they did not have any record of it..so they hooked me to dispatch in Jacksonville FL to send one out to pick me up but now I am already late and she couldnt tell me when the taxi could be there...so I just drove myself.
Cannot figure out how or why this place is still in business. It actually makes no sense at all... their cars are regularly hours late.
Zero stars. Taxi never showed up for elderly neighbor. He waited 4 hours to come home from the hospital. Transport was told Ztrip was on the way. As a result he ran out of oxygen before he could have it delivered. He could have arranged other, more reliable transportation, had he been told the truth. This was our neighborhoods first experience with the company, and I can say for ALL of us, its our last.
If the Taxi Industry wonders why it is going the way of the Dodo simply analyze this so called service. Have tried to order a Taxi through their phone option on a Friday or Saturday night at peak hours and either no one shows up or an hour and 45 mins later someone might. And that is a big might. And it wasnt an isolated incident. Quite possibly one of the most obsolete and useless utilities that exist.
Brian one of the Z-Trip drivers is all about lining his pockets and no consideration for the patients. There is no reason to pick up a patient in say Frederick and go past their destination in Longmont to go pick up another customer in berthoud to turn around and go back to Longmont and then make your drop offs no consideration for the client you are taking me hostage by taking me out of my way. And turning the heater way up not allowing me to crack a window feeling like Im being suffocated on top of my panic !attack from being held hostage
I had a unique situation where I was requesting a handicapped capable van for an electric wheel chair on someones behalf. Shout out to my angel in dispatch, Taylor (I believe?)-- he diligently searched for a driver to accommodate this request and was able to fulfill the reservation in no time. Thank you so much for the white-glove service, and to Rafi the driver, who got out of bed for the call! Wonderful customer service!
One star is high. Drivers pick up special needs when they want rather than when the family needs it done. They make no effort to be on time at either end of the ride. When you try to talk to customer service, or management, they dont respond. They are trying to be like Uber or Lyft without organization. Then if they cant find drivers to be wheelchair van drivers (who cant make any money worth their time), they leave the customers with no options.
Id give it a 0 if I could. I booked an early morning ride to catch the AB Bus to DIA to catch an early flight. I booked it at 11am on Friday, and I received an automated confirmation call later that day at 7pm. (My pickup time was 3am on Saturday). At 3:05am I began calling to inquire where my ride was. Soon after, I starting receiving automated calls stating they were searching for a ride. 40 minutes later, after receiving several automated calls, including one asking me to again confirm my ride request, I received a call from a live person. This person told me there were no drivers available. I explained I needed to get to the airport now that I had missed the AB bus. He asked if I was paying cash or credit? What difference does that make if there are no drivers available? I ended up driving to DIA myself, and my problems cascaded at the offsite parking lot where I was misinformed about the parking rate due to a full outdoor lot. I am out several hundred dollars because I am gone for 3 weeks. All because zTrip accepted and confirmed a reservation they could not fulfill. I see my terrible rating is not the only one. There are many other options available, and I would never use this service again, nor would I recommend it.
A wheelchair accessible vehicle was scheduled for 6:30am. It is now 8:20am with no driver dispatched. Repeated phone calls from have been made and I was last told that drivers assumed that the destination was closed. It is not closed and now a wheelchair bound nursing home patient has been waiting for a ride for two hours in the lobby for a very import outpatient procedure. Not acceptable.
Say they are available 24hrs Monday-Sunday and I have tried getting rides at 5:00-5:30am and for over an hour it says searching for driver. I think if you dont run at this time. Dont have it listed 24hrs a day.
Your driver almost murdered me and a motorcyclist multiple times on my way back from work on Highway 66. Im not even from here and didnt know about your company until having to drive next to this maniac for 15 mina or more. They road in the left lane the whole time except swerving into my lane almost hitting me multiple times. Seems oblivious to the honking and yelling and the biker in front of them. Your company should be sued, it may be me that does that. Good riddance
This company twice confirmed a ride request, then did not show, leaving a person stranded late a night. Calls trying to clear this up were responded to by saying the driver got a better call, so took that call instead. I will not use this service again.
Both drivers to the doc and the return trip home were friendly and courteous. I definitely like the service so far.
Awful. Hard to tell if they have any taxis because the one I ordered was apparently 10 mins from my house for an hour. With so many better options don’t waste your time on this dismal outfit.
I tried to schedule a wheelchair pickup one day in advance for a doctor appointment. I was told that they cannot ensure a pickup time. This might work for a casual trip but is unacceptable for getting to an appointment

This service is unable to provide any time frame for pickup. Similar to Uber in that a driver has to pick up the call, but different in that you have no way of knowing if or how many drivers are available/close. You might get a driver within 5 minutes, but probably not. You also might wait 3 hours, and the dispatcher will not be able to tell you which. Good luck!
If at all possible, I would give zero stars. After making an error in my pick up time, the Medicaid cab sent in an order at 8 am for ZTrip to pick me up by 7:30 pm for a sleep study in Fort Collins. After multiple phone calls to both ZTrip and Vayo, all I got from ZTrip was we are still trying to find you a driver. I waited over an hour and eventually had to cancel my appointment. Should the clinic assess the $150 non-arrival fee against me, I will be taking it to ZTrip. Never offer to work with a company that schedules for doctors appointments if you cant take reliability seriously.

Although all my drivers have been friendly & polite, the call reservation system is Messed Up! I am giving FIVE stars for the drivers. But zero for the automated phone system. I called 3 times this morning to get a ride to my doctor. The robo-call voice kept saying the Wrong address for me (530 Alpine, they kept saying You said 725 Main St.Press 1 if that is correct. and other addresses). So I waited for a human being to answer. She kept saying HELLO! I cant hear you. But I had just done a call to my mother & she heard me fine. And after hanging up with Ztrip I called someone else & they could hear me. After the 4th call, I FINALLY got the robocall thing to understand my address! And going home, I said 245 s. Main Street McDonaldsI waited outside & could see the Ztrip car driving all around in that little shopping center. I waved him down. He told me they only told him Id said 245 S. Main Which I did not. I said the McDonalds at 245 S. Main.IF you would fix your system, more people would ride with Ztrip. The drivers are very good. Its the horrible phone system that is no good.
Was guaranteed a ride to the airport at 3 a.m.. They 100% will be there. They werent. When I called they said, oh, I see you have a scheduled ride. Unfortunately were not gonna be able to do that, because we dont have any drivers. These people are just liars. Is it that hard to look at a work schedule before promising me a ride? These people cost me 200 dollars in airport parking. Of course if they just told me they couldnt do it, I wouldve found other means. The guarantee literally means nothing, they are liars in every sense of the word.
This company does not care at all. They changed their name a couple of years ago from Boulder Yellow Cab because they had such a bad reputation. You cant just change the name without changing the reason you got a bad name. Z-Trip is contracted with Veyo, the Medicaid Medical Transport. There are several other companies that are also contracted with Veyo. When my dads trip was assigned to any other Veyo contracted cab company. My father was on dialysis and because of Z-Trip not showing up over and over again my father ended up in the ICU many times because of missed dialysis treatments. Sadly my father passed away a week ago. Z-Trip you are evil and you will eventually be put out of business (Yeeeeeah!!!!) It would be the best for our entire community. I tried over and over again to get them to do what youre getting pays for. Now my father is dead. How can you sleep at night knowing that you have sailed or community so badly? it is ridiculous that you decided to repeatedly not showing up and taking him to his dialysis treatments. I cant wait till you have to close your doors permanently.
I have used their online webpage often to book a cab often to get from work in the AM to cancer radiation treatment at the hospital here in Denver. It is crucial I make this appointment and be on time. Taking the bus too time consuming and unreliable from where I work. (Thank goodness I am done next week!) Mostly it has been no problem. But lately it seems messed up. I have had 2 reservations recently just disappear although previously confirmed. Some of the drivers have been great, others not so much. Their reservation system seems very out of whack. And God forbid you have to call them - very rude. The drivers seem to depend totally on GPS, which is fine. But they also need to look up from their screens and use common sense to determine location - they dont seem to get that. They almost always dont have it right, even when you have entered it in their system! And you would think that the exact same trip (same mileage, route etc) would mean same total price? Nope - been all over the place. Maybe I was being ripped off but who knows. I will not use them again once I no longer am doing these treatments. Ive been too busy dealing with my illness and treatment to fight or complain frankly.
Had a wonderful driver that took me to medical appointments regularly but management made it so I could not continue being driven by that driver. Management here is a joke-some of the drivers are great but management will continue to run this company into the ground.
Terrible dispatch. Multiple times I have booked a cab online hours in advance for a certain pick up time and theyre always late. Today, after waiting over a half an hour after my pickup time I was finally able to talk to a dispatcher who told me they havent even set out a cab yet. Then they told me it would be another hour before a cab will get to me because its busy today even though I booked my trip in advance and people are getting cabs before me even though they ordered after me. Save the hassle and just call yellow cab.
Abhorrent. The driver called the police on a man with cognitive imparnet instead of using his medical reimbursement.The driver wanted cash and treated him horrendously when he didn’t have it. The “call center” is rude and is difficult to understand and the driver that was supposed to have picked up the passenger looked like she is in an unsafe situation as well.I don’t know what is happening with the ride service but I strongly advise using a more reputable and established ride company.
Called three different times waiting on a ride home after a long day of work. Each time I was told they were sending a taxi. An hour and 20 minutes later after I got a ride from a different taxi company they finally called me to see if I needed a taxi. Last time I use their services!

If you have to use a taxi company this is the best way to go, yellow cab/union taxi/metro are all a JOKE. With Ztrip you at least get a nice car for less money, drivers seem happier and more professional as well.
The app is so off. That needs to be corrected ASAP. It keeps sending drivers to the completely wrong address. If you use it, call the number of the driver shown on your phone right away, because they will be wandering around the wrong neighborhood, which is not EVEN CLOSE to where you actually are. The drivers do vary, as usual, John gets 5 stars and Peter gets a 2. Helping people with crutches in and out of the car is kind of a no brainer, eh?
BE AWARE: Driver # 2018- Denver International airport (a van)I was taking a cab from Denver International airport to home in Aurora. the driver had a radio on at a super high volume. I politely asked him to please turn it down. He did not answer, a few minutes late I asked again. He turned around and yelled at me: Whats wrong with the radio, then told me that he had to take I-225 which would be way far from the route. I said No it would be too far to get home. He screamed, claimed that only I-225 was plowed well.I had to ask him to stop as soon as possible multiple times. Anyone with half a mind would assume the next exit, or as for clarification. He was continuously sarcastic in his response, telling us hed drop us off in the middle of the highway. Any sort of exchange or question was met with hostility and it seemed as though he felt threatened.It was to no surprise that he raked up the price at the very end. Meter showed$28.50, then he claimed it was mile indicator. From DIA to 40th and Airport boulevard, 28.5 miles. And insisted I must pay $34 in Cash.In sum, just a confusing, uncomfortable experience.Z-Trip: please respond.
I called to reserve a car in the afternoon for a 2:45 AM trip to the downtown Boulder rtd station. Nothing the dispatcher said made me think there would be a problem. Once the time had passed, I called and was told the driver hadnt completed another run.. I kept calling and wish I would just have been told that I couldnt get the ride I needed in time. I ended up waking a relative at 3 am who had to rush me to the Table Mesa stop for the DIA bus. zTrip - DONT TAKE MY RESERVATION UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THAT A DRIVER WILL BE AVAILABLE AND COMMITTED.

Had a customer that needed a taxi. ZTrip called back 3 times asking if I still needed the taxi over the course of 2 hours. Well duh, we needed it asap. Not to mention it was a Monday night, shouldve been quick. When I asked for an ETA, they said they had no idea. My guest was probably as disappointed as I was. Safe to say I will be contacting another cab service next time.
While sitting in a parking lot eating lunch today, I watched as a Z-Trip driver cleaned the trash out of his Z-Trip car, using his doors and windows. I watched as the Z-Trip driver threw bags of trash up and on top of his car. He then exited his car, opened all the doors, collected up more trash inside the car and proceeded to stuff the bags of trash underneath his car.Sitting behind him and watching all this I honked at him out of total disgust at his behavior. He looked up, saw me and quickly got inside his car and covered his face. As he kept his face hidden he drove off leaving his trash mess behind.Very sad company image.
Set up a ride two weeks in advance for family. They called 15 minutes prior to pick up and informed me the ride was cancelled. No apologies. This is the worst.
The driver never showed up, and when I called, I got pushed to dispatchers who had nothing to do with ztrip, and couldnt help. When I called again, and asked not to be sent to a dispatcher, they actually just sent me to a dispatcher from another state who could help me even less. The next time I called, they hung up on me because I was too angry. This company is terrible and irresponsible, and will likely get people killed. I was able to find an emergency ride home from someone I trust, but how many others are going to decide to drive home irresponsibility. The blood is on ztrips hands
My friend has used this service before and they have come to his address in the past. We were waiting for the cab and it quickly drove through the driveway and drove off. Then we had to wait even longer for the cab and had a hard time getting help on the phone!
They require you schedule one hour in advance so I did that. At 9:15pm I scheduled for a 10:15pm pickup. I got a call from a driver at 10:05pm saying he was just dispatched to pick me up but was 30 minutes away. So he will be 30 minutes late. Wont be using this company EVER again and I suggest you save yourself the headache as well.
I work at a hotel and called a taxi for a heavily intoxicated person who needed help getting to his house 10 minutes away. After waiting some time, aparently the man also called for an uber without letting me know. Both the cab and uber arrived at the same time, and the man naturally took the uber (thank god). The woman driving the ztrip cab called the hotel, speaking to me, saying that I was retarded for calling then for no reason (no exaggeration on being called retarded). It wasnt our fault that he didnt tell us that he hailed an uber, and its their own damn fault for taking so damn long to arrive (also a reoccurring issue). From the hotel business, I reccomend taking Uber, Lift, or just walk home.

I was behind one of your racist pig drivers at a fast food resteraunt this evening. I was appalled at the words coming out of his mouth. I personally dont know what happened, but I do know you dont talk to people the way your pig of a driver did. I got his license plate number and his discription. Id rather eat my socks than use boulder taxi or z trip. This whole industry is going under, just like radio shacks and michales art craft stores, but at least at radioshack i can get almost everything for 70% off and never have to worry if im going to be waiting for hours on a dark street corner.

Lets just say the only Z-Trip I like is the artist. It is the WORST taxi service I have ever tried to use! I called to help a friend get home since they didnt have Uber installed and it took 2 full hours for zTrip to call me back and ask if my friend still needed a ride. Im not sure if Im more shocked at how long it took them to call us back, or shocked that they asked if they should even bother to send out a ride still. Thumbs down, I will never use their service again.

I called at 12PM to book a taxi for the same night, booked a taxi for 2:45AM. Ended up waking earlier then expected so i called to see if the can come at 2:30. The dispatcher said no problem, 2:30 came and nobody shows.. called back at 2:35 and the dispacher says i dont have any taxis near by.. told her i booked it 12 hours ago!! Her response was honestly i cant help you. Had to wake up my wife and baby to take me to the airport in the middle of the night! DO NOT USE ZTRIP!!
You might want to review local regulations and common courtesy with your Boulder Yellow Cab drivers. I am a both a resident of, and a Lyft driver, in Boulder. On a recent, busy Saturday night, I was waiting for my passenger pickup in the taxi pull off area at Pearl & 11th Street, exactly where I was supposed to be. As my riders approached, one of your drivers barricaded me in while aggressively beeping his horn and causing a scene that halted traffic. He demanded that I roll my window down, at which point he unleashed a tirade on how this is for taxis only and that you need to leave or else. He had a passenger in his back seat, who looked as mortified as myself and the many people who witnessed this. Not a good look for you guys. Just another reason why the traditional taxi business model is failing by the day.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! One of the drivers here in CO springs was driving very crazy, cut ne off and if i ddint hit my breaks we would have hit. At the next light he was next to me and i asked whats the hurry man, you cut me off and didnt even use your blinker. He proceeded to tell me he did not have use a blink driving the cab car, becuase if he did people wont let him over??!?! REALLY??? He said a few things and took of like a bat oit of hell...next light is red, i told i was calling his company...anf he yelled and called me names. I tried to follow to get the badge number off the side for the lady on the phone, and he was going about 75 in 30 mph zone, got onto i25 and oroceeded to go about 75 cutting 6 plus cars off as the lane ended and took off. Mind you this is the construction zone that posted at 45....putting all lives in DANGER. This is all being told to the lady in tje 303 numbe listed so she can file a report. I was told they would get him off the road ASAP. As i go about my day, to go back where i first saw him, and boom there he was...with a co springs resident in tje passanger seat. I called the 303 number finally vave them the side badge, he noticed me and pulled over...got out threw stuff at my car, called me names, and took off...all wjile his company heard every bit...they told me to call 911, i did and left....wait, boom there he is again, still driving....he sees me gets out, and chases after my car.....I HAVE VIDEO, PICTURES, EVERYTHING.....UNTIL HE IS OFF TJE ROAD....DO NOT USE ZTRIP...THEY MAY KILL YOU OR OTHERS!!!!!!! Terrible call center. Very rude. They make many errors and they treat people very badly. App is dysfunctional. The driver that came was alright, but I will not be using zTrips again due to the terrible customer service by the call center.
Booked a car for trip to airport a week in advance. ZTrip no showed. Calls to get a car or check status we’re useless. Ultimately told there were no cars available and had to drive and pay to park. Terrible service.
They one thing i like is that they dont have surge pricing like uber because i needed a ride to Coors field and it was like $65 and if i was to take an uber or lyft it would of been $110 for uber and around $95 for lyft
The last 5 times I have ordered a ride its has been an average of an hour and a half. This company will be obsolete in a year
Set up ride and never showed up on my first day. Luckly I got to keep my job
New management came on and all the drivers are very disgruntled about various problems for the last several months. The call center is HORRIBLE. They are beyond rude. They are outsourced to another state and chronically screw up scheduling trips. They sometimes schedule them in the wrong city or state and if you call in to correct it, they will be very snarky about their mistake. And asking the drivers to not rant about their own company never works. They still complain and complain and complain to their customers.Ztrips is the only full cab service in town, and doesnt have some of the safety issues of Uber and Lyft.I would rather use a licensed service like Ztrips, but I got so sick of enduring 20 minutes in the phone with the beautifully rude call center just to schedule a trip and then enduring the endless ranting by Ztrips drivers about how horrible Ztrips management has become, that I asked the driver to pull over. I paid the fare to that point and look an Uber the rest of the way.Ztrips needs to lean that if hey make their customers feel like crap, they are not going to continue to have customers.
Is there anything lower than 1 star? Booked my trip 2 days ahead of time to get to an appointment. Driver called me 10 minutes after he was supposed to show. Said he just got the order for my trip. Piss poor business practice, especially since neither Uber nor Lyft will come to my house.

Tried calling them last Saturday after 4 hours gave up, looks like i get repeat service this Saturday. was told 20 mins more like 20 hours
