Midway into 2020’s pandemic my husband secretly started working with Johnny on a custom engagement ring and wedding band for a surprise anniversary present. Despite lockdown, Snyder’s continued to work arduously to deliver excellent customer service while still following all the necessary safety precautions.Snyder’s team of professionals expertly advised on a design that would best display, accentuate, and appraise the heirloom stones used to make the rings. Before casting the rings my husband showed me the 3D renders to ensure they were to my liking. I was impressed to see such a beautiful design perfect for me without ever giving any input.Once the rings were cast Johnny continued working with me to ensure the perfect fit so I can confidently wear my rings without worrying about damaging or losing them. The entire staff is so kind and friendly that it’s always a pleasure to come by the store be it to shop or bring jewelry in for routine maintenance and check ups.

We have lived around the world and have never experienced such remarkable and personal customer service regarding our jewelry and watch needs. We have had repairs done, custom pieces designed and manufactured - no matter what curve ball we throw at the Snyder team they always hit it out of the park with a smile, knowledge and amazing customer service. One of the last projects we threw at them was taking my late mothers vintage engagement ring (was a little dated from a style perspective but no less important as a family heirloom) and transforming it into a beautiful modern diamond necklace for our daughter. Just one small example mind you. We feel like family now. Trust 100%. And Mr. Johnny...hes the bomb! Absolute delight.

This was my first experience with Snyder Jewelers, and it was a great one! I needed some input on some rings in terms of sizing and gem quality, as well as to fix a metal watch bracelet and get a new battery for another watch. The gentleman who helped me was courteous, knowledgeable, and did a great job with my small but important jewelry needs. Plus they were showing a very interesting video on jewelry repair as I waited, so I learned a few things. I highly recommend them.

My daughter needed help getting her starter earrings out for over a year. We went to Snyder to see if they could help. We were greeted warmly at the door by a woman who requested help from another staff member Johnny. Johnny took a quick look at my daughter’s earrings and went to the back for a few supplies. Johnny was then able to ease my daughter’s nerves, get the earrings out, and help with putting in new ones for the first time. My daughter is so proud to be able to change out her earrings easily now and I am thrilled to not have to worry about how to remove the starter ones anymore. An amazing people first staff that I cannot thank enough!

I moved to Longmont just a little over 2 years ago and sought out a jeweler to take care of my personal jewelry. I hit the jackpot when I found Snyder Jewelers! Theyre a family owned business and that spoke volumes to me. One of the many things that I like about Snyders is not only are they family-owned, its that its been in the family for three generations now. Thats unheard of! What I have noticed is that the staff are a team and they interact as though they are their own little family and in no time I feel as thought Im a part of the family too! Then, Genevieve helped us design a few new pieces that we can use from some of the existing rings. The results are stunning and classic - just our style. Three words, and Snyder lost me as a customer: Im the owner.Of course theres a back story that I shall try to recount even-handedly though being a little steamed right now. I asked Snyder to do the stabilization and attachment of a clip for a piece of jewelry I constructed. Ill-advisedly I had used lead-containing solder. Reasonably enough the shops jeweler declined to use his laser means of heating the copper of my piece. Thats not the cause of my displeasure, though.Over the years I have had pleasant discourse with the back-room jeweler, including having given him a nice book detailing the development of marine-quality chronometers by John Harrison. He is a pleasant and engaging guy, and we had had an interesting conversation on the history of improving time standards. (If that interests you, look up Harrison; I recommend it.)But today, the owner refused to let me speak directly with the jeweler. I had hoped to investigate some alternatives to backing my piece that would have minimized any exposure to the lead. She took my piece to the back room, after I had requested to speak with him. She returned to tell me No, he cant use his laser on your piece. All right, thats fine, but may I speak with him myself?She refused, saying -- rather shortly, it seemed to me -- Im the owner.Good bye, I responded (perhaps somewhat shortly as well -- she may append whatever comments she wishes, of course). I left, muttering under my breath, Yes, but Im the customer. Or had been, anyhow.I might have to re-build my piece with lead-free solder, but even so I wont be asking Snyder to do the backing. There are other jewelers in town.

I was recently gifted one of my grandmother’s rings. With it being old, it needed a bunch of work done. I received it a week before her funeral and was hopeful (unrealistically so), to have it fixed to wear for that day. Not only did Snyder’s go above my expectations as far as getting it fixed in time, they were very conscientious of my budget (we agreed on a price) and put in a diamond where we had agreed to put in a CZ at no extra cost to me! I was in tears from the compassion and kindness of their staff, and will absolutely be going back for ANY of my future jewelry needs!

My fiance and I had my engagement ring made at Snyders out of an older family ring-they were able to take the family history from one ring and create a modern, beautiful ring that combines old and new; it was exactly what I wanted and hoped for. Snyder’s Jewlers is a wonderful jewelry store. Their employees have always been professional, polite, and knowledgeable with every interaction that I have ever had.In response to the lady that had a horrible experience, I was in the store and have to say that my experience with what transpired was very different. I can only comment to say that of the three interactions I witnessed with three different employees they were professional and polite with her. She was very upset and nothing that anyone said was satisfactory. All solutions and explanations offered for her issues with the ring, seemed more than reasonable to me.I spoke up at a certain point and politely asked her please stop talking to the employee that was helping her that way, because I felt that it had crossed a line. She yelled at me to shut my face at which point I spoke with the Owner of the store on behalf of the employee that was being berated for no reason that I could see.Normally I would stay out of things but on that occasion I felt something needed to be done. Employees who are acting in a professional manner do not deserve to be spoken to like that just because the answers being given while reasonable were not what what the customer wanted to hear.

I had the batteries replaced in my watches and this was great. I then spent quite a few dollars on a diamond earring for my husband and have to say, the piece itself is beautiful, but I expected to receive it in a small box, but what I got was it in tissue paper and a plastic bag, that made the entire experience disappointing.

I had volunteered to help a senior sell a few pieces of his late wifes jewelry. My first instinct was to phone Snyder Jewelers to see if they had time to check these pieces to see if they were genuine or not. Without hesitation Nadia said to come on over and she would help. Upon my arrival I was immediately greeted by Georgeanna, I explained the reason for my visit & since Nadia was with a customer she invited me over to a counter and proceeded to help me out. Nadia later joined us so both ladies gave me their expertise, educated me, cleaned all the pieces, measured, tested to make sure the diamonds were genuine as well as the precious metals, gave recommendations as to how to sell them, gifted me a little silk pouch and on top of that they cleaned my ring and it looked sparkly and brand new! All of this was for no charge! I am so very impressed. A+++ to Snyder Jewelers for excellent customer service! Thank you ladies for ALL of your help!

I went in to have a small pendant and 2 earings modified into one large pendant and they were awesome. Verified the stones were real while I was there, took high res pictures and everything. I was impressed, and the outcome was better than I had expected. My girlfriend LOVED it.

I have been going to Snyder for years, mainly for watch repair. The staff is always so friendly to me. Recently, I brought in my favorite necklace to be repaired. The employee was very sweet to me and took my necklace to the repair tech. I was prepared for them to keep it for a few days before it could be repaired. A few minutes later, she returned with the repaired necklace and told me that it would be no charge! Apparently, the tech said it was such a quick fix that they werent going to charge me. I was really amazed by their kindness. Everyone on their staff has always been so friendly to me over the years, even though I dont look like someone that can afford to be shopping in their store.

I couldnt ask for a better experience at a jewelry store. When working with the people at Snyders I feel comfortable and welcomed by every member of the staff. I worked with a woman at Snyder Jewelers to design my custom wedding ring. It was an amazing experience. I was so excited to see the end result and the actual ring, and when it came in it was gorgeous. I know that the ring will be handed on through generations in remembrance of love and family.

I smashed my finger in the car door. I had a thick silver ring on. By the second day my finger was so swollen it had turned almost black. No one would attempt to remove ring. Not even at urgent care Johnny was more than willing to try and help. He answered the phone promptly, invited us down to see what could be done and diligently worked on cutting my ring off. So I guess the best way to begin with my raving about this shop is by telling you about my horrible experiences elsewhere. Maybe Im difficult to please, I dont know. But finding an engagement ring should not be like searching for a new car with a car salesman at your throat. My boyfriend and I were on a budget and everywhere I went I was told that I would not find anything that would meet my expectations within my price range. Most of the places I went to didnt even care to know what I wanted in the first place. Needless to say after much disappointment i semi-gave up. I was searching online for a rings because I still hadnt seen one that I just fell in love with and somehow stumbled upon Mark Schneiders collection and was amazed. Snyder Jewelers was one of three stores in the state who carried his rings so off we went to go look. Johnny helped us find the perfect ring. He asked questions, he was attentive, he did not push us to make an immediate decision, it made all the difference. What truly amazed me was once he saw that I found the ring that I loved, he made sure that price was not an issue. He worked with us to make sure that we could afford that ring. I dont understand too much about diamonds and neither does my boyfriend. So Johnny gave us a rundown of what to look for, what affects price, etc. Point is, picking and purchasing the ring was such a fun and special experience thanks to this store!I now find out from my fiance that there was a delay with the pick-up time for the ring because Mark Schneider received an extremely large order of jewelery. After he contacted the store, Johnny (again) saved the day and our engagement date. Knowing that there was an error made on our pick-up time and that Mark Schneider wouldnt have the ring ready for weeks, the store was willing to create the display ring into my ring using the diamond that we had picked. The finished result is gorgeous. My point is I Ill never return to a big-box corporate jewelry store again. This little jewelry store has the kindest, most knowledgeable employees and they really do care about what you want. They dont skimp on quality either. I couldnt be happier with my experience here. We will definitely be returning for mine and my fiances wedding bands.

My name is Teresa Trotter. Ive shopped at Snyder Jewelry many times. This time I purchased a Mothers Ring. Its so beautiful, but we had some problems with color of stones. Johnny is the best! He suggested, advised, and did everything he could to help me understand. If Johnny isnt pleased with a piece of jewelry it doesnt leave the store. I am very happy with my ring and the service I got at Snyder. I recommend anyone in Boulder County to go there.

I am torn, because Snyders has done fair work on pieces I have brought in the past, and John is extremely kind and has valuable information to share; he is glad to educate anyone in a friendly way about jewelry pieces.However, there are a couple of issues as well -- I brought in a piece of jewelry that my late grandmother owned, because I was curious about getting opinion/information on it. I spoke with John, which is always a pleasure, and he brought it back to Linda, the owner, who was supposedly to have more significant pearl knowledge.John went with the pearls to the back of the store, and came back to simply say about (a number) - Maybe this is me being nitpicky, but I feel that if one is an owner of a jewelry store and going to put a haphazard monetary value on a customers piece, one should at least come out from the back of the store to say so directly to the customer.Lastly, during this same visit, I wanted to know how my grandmothers pearls compared to what was on hand at the store, and asked a sales associate. She walked me over to the pearl case and wordlessly stood there, allowing me to look. - Im not sure if this was because she knew I wasnt going to buy anything from that case during that visit that I was not allowed to look at any pieces out of the case, but needless to say I did not feel particularly welcome.It is too bad because I have had nice experiences from Snyders in the past, so it was a shame that this occurred. Hopefully I can give Snyders another shot and it will improve next time.UPDATE: Still a big torn -- when I went back into the store, John was the one who greeted me and gave me some nice information and tried to explain the situation, saying that Linda had been in a meeting the first time I was in. Im not sure how I feel about a review being brought up in person, but this still does not solve the core of the issue: John was not at fault to begin with, and should not be the one discussing it.Ultimately, a professional appraiser looked at the pearl necklace and the value that Linda claimed the pearl necklace to be was undervalued by a factor of about 4x, so not terribly impressed with the blasé attitude.

Amazing staff, especially Alania! I took my engagement ring to Snyder Jewelers because the stone was loose. I was desperate to have it tightened before leaving in a few days for an international trip to attend an engagement party being held for my fiance and I. The jeweler where it was purchased was unable to accommodate me with less than a week before leaving. Snyders was able to take care of it while I waited and Alania helped me make an appointment for having it appraised, something the original jeweler did not do although requested. I was so impressed with Alania and Snyders, I really wish I had known about them when we were ring shopping at all the jewelers on Pearl Street in Boulder. Snyders is hands down immensely more professional and helpful than any jeweler in Boulder.

Ive used this jewelry store a few times for jewelry polishing and repair. Each time, the sales people contradict what each other has said and they try to sell me things I dont need. I feel like this is a very dishonest jewelry store. I thought the actual jewelry repair guy was great, though. He came out to explain the jewelry repair he did and he was much more genuine and honest than anyone else in the store.

I went in to Snyders to get my watch repaired. I grew up in Longmont and have fond memories of going into the jewelry story with my family to do their Gemball promotion. As an adult, however, my experience was very unpleasant and utterly lacked professionalism. I dropped my watch off to be repaired, which took them nearly 20 minutes to input very basic visual description information about my watch. I was being helped by two people: a new trainee and what I assume was her trainer or a manager. The new trainee was very polite and professional. Her trainer, however, was incredibly rude. She was not rude to me, but was treating her new trainee like a child. She took the mouse away from her, was condescending, and very visibly was upsetting the trainee, making her more nervous and more prone to mistakes. This was a very uncomfortable situation to watch, and after this, I will certainly be taking all of my business elsewhere. Very disappointing.

I went into Snyders to find a mothers day gift for my mom and I was very pleased with the selection. I am so excited to give it to her it is perfect.

Just purchased an engagement ring from the team at Snyder Jewlers and had a fantastic experience all around. They helped me find the perfect loose diamond in a cut that was not as commonly carried and made the entire process enjoyable and stress free. I did some pretty good damage to my platinum and diamond engagement ring with a dremel drill (dont ask!). I tore out one of the smaller diamonds on a corner and loosened some of the other stones.Close to tears, I rushed it over to Snyder Jewelers hoping they could do so some sort of repair.They (Shirley, nice lady!) calmly assessed the damage, told me what needed to be done and also suggested soldering my wedding band to the engagement ring to prevent more wear from occuring under the head of the setting.I left my rings with them and hoped for the best.A short 5 days later, they called and said my rings were ready to be picked up, I couldnt believe how GORGEOUS they looked!!!! The quality of workmanship at Snyder is impeccable! Not to mention the cleaning they gave my engagement ring, I think it sparkles more now than the day I got it!For all of your jewelry needs, Snyder Jewelers is the place to go!!
