Krista literally butchered my 21 month old sons hair today. I wanted to keep the innocent look and just trim up around his ears and neckline. Instead she took clippers and completely botched his haircut, its so choppy with no blending or fading whatsoever. I will NEVER take my child back here nor will I recommend this place to anyone. I specifically asked her if she had experience with cutting hair on children under 2, she said she had done hundreds. From the outcome, I beg to differ. I do not leave reviews often but I couldnt resist on this one. I left the shop in tears with how my baby looked.

It started out nice enough with the stylist, Nicole, being nice and asking questions as to what it was that I wanted. As the haircut proceeded, there was no lack of care to how she was cutting. She was “paying attention” to detail but doing it extremely rushed. There were two clients next to where I was sitting and the other hair stylists got them in and out both after I sat down and before I was finished. She stopped in the middle of my haircut and just talked to the other stylist about some other customer and didn’t pay any kind whatsoever to finishing my hair. The comb she used to cut my hair was hitting my scalp, the scissors were pulling at my hair instead of just cutting. When we got to the neck shave, she didn’t ask if I wanted one and didn’t ask me to look down. I didn’t want to be cut by the lack of care she had already demonstrated so I stayed still. Come home and it’s uneven. She didn’t take the time to show me the final cut or asked if there was anything else. Usually I come out feeling great about both the hair and the experience and tip at least 10$ but this time I didn’t even want to pay for the service itself. Extremely dissatisfied and won’t be returning for future services.

Do not go here if you are a woman. I HAD hair down to my waist. The lady who cut my hair showed me about 3 inches that she wanted to take off, to clean up the ends. Ok fine. I asked for layers that you can see, you know- long, medium, then a bit shorter to frame my face. She cut my hair to my shoulders, unevenly, then said “when it grows in a bit, you can come back and we can do the haircut you were talking about.”. Ummm… what??!! Never again. I will NEVER return to this awful place. Worst haircut I have had in my life. She cut so much off, there’s no room to save it!

The husband and I went in for haircuts on September 4th his stylist was cassy and she did an amazing job on his cut and he loved her professionalism while I had Kristopher working on my hair this man is amazing and was so gentle with my hair it just about put me to sleep it felt so good wr will definitely be back for our next hair cuts!

Got a haircut with Alicia and told her I wanted to keep some length up top. She ended up cutting more off than I wanted, so it came out looking funny. I usually receive great cuts from here, but was a bit disappointed with this one.

Took my son to get a haircut after many months of refusal. Assured him this was the place to go for young men. He showed the stylist a picture and specifically told her wanted to keep some length. Did NOT want short hair, but she just kept cutting and cutting. He is extremely upset, not at all what he asked for and short! Very disappointed and and angry. Won’t go back or recommend to anyone.

Always a fast and accurate cut, and the employees are always so kind. Cannot recommend them enough, best barbers around.

Despite having an appointment, we still had to wait 15 minutes. Then my son showed his stylist a picture, while also explaining the length he wanted. Stylist then cut it 4 inches shorter. Its almost a bowl cut for $58! This kid had long lovely hair, just wanted it cleaned up a bit and got butchered. Im furious and will never go back.

This is the the most friendly, and well kept Floyd’s I’ve ever been too. 🙌👏 I pride myself quite a bit with my hair and am known to be very picky! 😅 I’ve had Kristopher cut my hair about 4 times now, and I am thoroughly impressed! Solid cut, well trained stylists, barbers, and experienced cosmetologists. Artfully organized and down-to-earth. Supportive in house crew Dynamics, throwing off good Vibes. Adept clientele software, which means they will remember you even if your stylist takes a well-deserved vacation.

I have had some good haircuts at Floyds. None i can really complain about.The service though is something that has gone downhill in my opinion throughout the Floyds i have been too. I feel like Floyds used to have a lot of very friendly people who were outgoing and fun to talk too. Now it seems as if they are more into looking at phones.The biggest issue though is that more times then not they seem to not have people who can straight edge.Normally not a big deal if you dont call yourself a barbershop. But if youre going to call yourself a barbershop then you should always have people who can run a straight edge working.I can say i only go now if i happen to be right next to one.

I went in there at 7:50 tonight. they close at 9:00, there where 3 ladies standing at the counter and no customers. not one. when I walked in they all scattered .I was greeted by the one still standing at the counter and I asked if they could do a hair cut. and after a moment of looking at the computer I was told no and that there was an appointment inbound in about 10 minutes. I was told they would be glad to make an appointment. That is the 3rd time Ive been denied even to wait and told to make an appointment. I will never try again.. even though Ive used that Floyds since its opening

Had to update my my 5 star review and decrease to 2 stars. Ive always gotten a good cut here. However, my biggest complaint Has to do with the charge for changing your appointment. I have had my appointment rescheduled more than a half a dozen times - by Floyds because something came up with my stylist.. I was understanding, and and I get it, life happens.. But I also have a busy schedule as well. And its tough for me to schedule in a haircut sometimes.. On one occasion something came up on my end and I called to push my appointment back by an hour. They wanted to charge me a fee for rescheduling because I didnt give at least an hour notice. That to me is the most ridiculous thing ever, given the fact that they had rescheduled on me over a half a dozen times prior. The previous 3 appointments were rescheduled by them and I still hadnt gotten in yet. Not once did they didnt offer me any discounts for my inconvenience when they rescheduled on me. Now they want money (in form of a fee) from me for services unrendered. They asked if they could charge the card I had on file! Of course I said no, and that if they wanted to charge me then I would never come back there or to any Floyds for that matter again. And its not about the fee. Its the principal. That was just the straw that broke the camels back with Floyds in Longmont. Come on. You gotta do better than that. Maybe keep notes on customers so you know How many times you have inconvenienced them with rescheduling.

I like the results of mens hair. There is some consistency difference but they are all different people. You can schedule with the same person if you want. Mobile app is easy.

1-star: Got an appointment for my son. We were checked in with a smile. Waited 40 minutes. Then the stylist comes over and says she has 15 minutes before the next appointment, so she cant do the hair cut. The choice given to us was to wait another indefinite time for someone else to free up or leave. So we left. Saved our $ and spent a few more minutes writing this review. Found the experience disrespectful and will not go back.Update:We were contacted by the Floyds team and they took effort to make our experience better. We were given another appointment. We were met with smiles and the location manager attended to our son. Thanks Floyds for taking the effort to make it right for us. Our boy is happy with his haircut and so is the mom.

I came in before the pandemic and Cassy gave me one of the best haircuts Ive had in years. I came back in recently and Cassy again did not disappoint. You will not walk out awkwardly saying it looks good when it doesnt. You will walk out, possibly while putting your sunglasses on, thinking you are worth a million bucks.

Called ahead and made an appointment. Left work early, checked in 5 minutes early and sat there for a half hour before walking out. Ive been coming to this location for years, probably since it opened. Have always been a generous tipper. Unfortunately this experience has lately become the norm. This time really set me off because I had a lot to get done before leaving town for a business trip. Ended up calling a place down the road, making another appointment, and got my hair cut on time even though they seemed to be as busy if not busier than Floyds. Ill be taking my business there from now on.

The Longmont location is full of highly skilled professional barbers and stylists. I’ve been a Floyd’s customer for 5 years, but I’m dropping a review to highlight Schey, who cut my hair today She gave me a great cut and she made me laugh and kept it fun. She happens to be extremely talented, but surprisingly humble about it - worth all 5 stars!

Lexi did my hair and it turned out amazing! Highly recommend getting your hair colored and cut from her. Plus her personality was great, shes bubbly and friendly. If I could send in compliments to the store about her, I would. She did a fantastic job and made me feel welcomed.

Called in an hour or two in advance, got there and was told itd be another 45 minutes until I was able to get a haircut. Stylist and cashier tried to overcharge for a cut and shampoo when I only received a cut. The price was already expensive for a clip, but the fact that I was almost overcharged was enough to say I wont be returning to this location. Next time, Im going local.

I walk up at 852am, the doors are unlocked so I poke my head in and the girls tell me they’re not open. 4 people proceed to walk in 3 minutes later. Without a doubt the worst haircut experience I have ever had. A complete lack of cordiality and outright hostility from my stylist, who got upset when I asked if he could turn the chair so I could watch my own haircut in the mirror. 0/10, would not recommend.

Ive had a hard time finding someone who can cut my hair just the way I like it. Not to mention Im a cheap ass and I hated paying over 20$ for a hair cut. So my husband said try Floyds Ill pay! Walk in had to wait a while but I was told it was better to make an appointment.I was called over by the manager and my new favorite stylist Lisa H. So now I call and to set an appointment and Lisa gives me a fantastic cut that I get complements and the price is worth it.

Emmie M (also goes by Emma) is such a wonderful hairdresser. Every time I come in we swap the funniest stories and just enjoy life. Its rare to find a great hairdresser and even rarer to find one that makes such a routine task an adventure. Also a shout out to Jenny who was a fun, energetic, and talented hairdresser before she left. Floyds is also affordable, conveniently placed, and easy to make a reservation. 10/10

We were here on a visit from out of town so mostly I base my rating on the fact I that I dig the atmosphere at this place. A decked out salon playing good music to boot. Not too sure what he asked for but think the stylist also did a good job cleaning up my dude and getting him all spiffy. Pleasant staff

Walked in around 5:45 to get a cut and was told since I didnt have an appointment that it would be a 2 hr wait. I know I was a walk-in, but Ive never had that happen to me at Floyds in 6 years of going there. So now Im sitting in my car looking at 5 females standing behind the front desk talking it up.............Ill just make sure I take my service elsewhere. Highly dissatisfying.Just went to the Great Clips a block away and got. Bomb haircut for $10 less FYI.

Ive been coming here since we moved to CO 3 years ago and had been going to Sport Clips or similar barbers, Floyds is miles above those others. Great cuts, great staff, easy scheduling with my favorite barber (or walk ins before I found my favorite). Definitely recommend trying them out!

Friendly staff, love that I can make appointments. Downside is the trial and error of trying to find the right barber/stylist. But as with any barber, you’ll eventually find the right one that fits your need.

I take my two boys (5 and 7) to get haircuts here. They are always very welcoming and sweet to the boys. In addition they listen to how I want their cuts and always explain why if they recommend something different. They are quick and boys get a lollipop at the end. Perfect!

They always cut my husbands hair well, They also try to push really expensive products especially when I get my hair trimmed. They are really nice and listen to what we want. They accomplish what we ask them to do and we walk about feeling fresher. They do free hot towels and shoulder massages.

We have been going to Floyds for a few years. Great stylists and atmosphere. Appointments are easy to make and start on-time. I really like that they have extended their appointment window. Also, they have a larger number of stylists, so you have the option to find the one that is best for you.

Worst Floyds in Colorado. You better have an appointment. They will not cater to walk-ins. Week day mornings, afternoons, weekends. Doesnt matter. Id rather deal with bad hairstylists than wait another minute on this place. This could be a great place if it werent for lazy people and poor planning.

Been coming here the past 2 years the service is great and my hair always looks awesome.

Took my son here for a haircut a week ago and we waited an hour while we came back. After we came back we waited another 30 minutes after having an advanced appointment. They took walk-ins immediately in front of us AND tons of stylists (at least 8 of them) were just standing around talking and doing nothing. I just walked out. I wont be coming back here for haircuts. I wasted hours of my day trying to get a simple haircut for my son here and they cant even do that.Its not a good look to make people wait for a mediocre haircut while all of your employees do nothing right in front of them. Im far from the only one to complain about this. Just read the reviews. I dont know what kind of elite VIP you have to be to actually get a haircut here but clearly my son doesnt qualify. Historically I have always tipped a minimum of $10 for haircuts but you guys wont be getting my courtesy.We will find another place which deserves and appreciates our money more.Response to Managements reply: No. I made good on my promise and we have never been back to Floyds and never will.

I have had my hair chopped here for a couple years now, I finally got a repeat with one of the hairstylists and had to review. It can be hard for a guy to find a stylist that will truly try to give you a great haircut without relying on cuteness and flirting for a good tip and I have to say I love this place for the reason that they have always focused on a good cut first. Jenny C has truly given me my 2 greatest haircuts while being very professional and making me feel appreciated with good small talk and quick quality service.

Cool looking shop, lots of great people running it. I went in with real long hair and Lisa helped me settle on a cool shorter cut that is ideal for the warmer weather to come. Real nice massage after the cut as well!

Always impressed by the cut, style and conversation from Lisa H. She has handled mine and my familys styling needs for years and I always look forward to seeing her. Never an issue at Floyds in Longmont.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is apparently a Barber shop, but believe me when I say it’s the farthest thing from that. I’ve never written a review before, I’ve never complained about service even when it wasn’t the best, but the $30 hair cut & beard trim my fiancé received this afternoon was worse than terrible. So he has long hair about down to his shoulders and a beard that needed some trimming and clean lines. The “barber” started the cut by taking a razor and a hand full of his hair and chopping it, he continued to do this around the whole head. Then pretty much buzzed the whole thing never once putting any water or oils or anything at all. Then he went to the beard and same thing, he started using his razor on his completely dry face and neck. His whole neck is completely razor burned. When you look straight on at his face one side of his beard is shaved so far back his cheek and the other side is so far forward, it’s so extremely noticeably as well as how uneven he clipped the mustache. The top of his head was left jagged and uneven with legitimate strands of long hairs sticking up here and there. Through out the whole cut he dropped the razor and towels and continued to use them. And then at the end left a ton of trimmings all over the neck and eat and in the ears and down the shoulders. This was absolutely horrible and was worth not even $5 and we paid $30. Wish I could post pictures of how terrible. We just got home so I can try to fix it. When I called they offered us to come in and fix it for free, but after what we had left with there was no way we were EVER walking back in there.

Getting my haircut is one of my most favorite things and this location happened to just ruin that whole experience. I dont know if it was an off day or what but I went in after work on a Wednesday because i just needed to get my haircut and I didnt have a chance to stop at my other barber louisville or the Floyds in Lafayette. Since I have always had an amazing experience at the Floyds in Lafayette,I thought it should be just fine... and its just hair right? Well, I was wrong. The receptionist was nice enough but was a bit preoccupied on her phone. There were 2 females hairstylists there and the guy that ended up cutting my hair. I sat down I usually get a razor fade but since it was just a walk in appointment I didnt expect for them to have anyone available to do that type of cut, so I showed him a picture for reference and he starts buzzing my head.. fine right? No... not at all this dude is just roughing up my head... No rhyme or reason and it hurts. Does a hack job on everything, I had asked get my neck shaved and cleaned up... and it was the first time ever in 30 years Ive ever gotten razor burn getting my hair cut! Barely used any lather and usually the use hot warm towels and he used a dry towel he picked up off the floor! Needless to say... I wont be back to this location again.

Ive been bouncing from stylist-to-stylist for years at Floyds in multiple locations before I met Lexi nearly two years ago. Since then I would never let another person touch me with a pair of shears. Shes an amazing person first, and an awesome stylist to boot. Always open to new cuts and giving feedback on the latest styles, I would recommend her to new clients both young and old AND she trims my beard... awesome! Call the Longmont shop and ask for Lexi, no need to read more comments, no further questions.

Wanted to do a full straight razor so stopped by. Was told couldn’t be done because there was only one barber on and the wait was too long. What do you mean only one barber 💈 there were full staff but no other barber!?!? It’s Floyd’s barber!!! So will not be going there!! I counted 5 people doing hair but no one else was a barber. They should change the name to Floyd’s sometimes barber!!!

I have gone here for awhile. When you can find somone good, get her name and ask for her again. Otherwise, you are bobbing for apples. On the less expensive end, you can opt for a teaching place like cost cutters or the $10 machine cut from someone claiming to be a butcher. Oops - barber. This shop isnt too bad. They just need some professional management. But then again, most younger people IMHO do not understand what customer service is all about.

Judy 0 is the best hair stylist in the west.My hair cut is as difficult as it gets.Trust me this place is great and Judy O is the best.She is also the manager and is wonderful at hiringthe best staff.

So Ive been litterly cutting my own hair and shaving my face since I can remember. It took me seconds to fall in love with them. Thier shop is hella cool. My stylist was amazing and the experience was over the top. The were perfect. Definitely telling all my friends about them.

Poor. Go elsewhere. Asked for a beard trim, dude brought out the clippers and an 8 guard. No comb, no skill. I could have done just as well.

Came in to get my son and I a haircut. I was told to come back at 8PM. I politely said No Thank You. The woman continued to say she does not need my business anyway and not to come back. She said this in front of my son. I do not want to be that person to write some nasty post, but I was just in shock of how I was treated. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever. Why do people have to be so mean? What was wrong with me where you did not need my business? Who does not need anyones business? I am still shocked.

Had an appointment and was made to wait an extra 45 min. Why have appointments if you can’t keep them? I find this extremely rude to treat a customer this way who has been coming here since they opened. My time is valuable and now I’m late to an event. Very unprofessional.

I totally understand the online capabilities of making an appt.... However when you have a client standing in front of you they should be acknowledged and taken care of as to waiting for the online appt( that is late) to show up. More of a upscale great clips as far as doing a guys hair fades. Ive had 1 hair cut Ive asked for out of the 10+. Overspriced as well and I can only say this about the mens cuts. I always ask for a low or medium fade but they usually end up going high.

So far I have never had a bad experience here and I hope to never really start lol. Although my hair cuts are pretty simple as I just get a buzz, from observing others and the rest of the staff I can say that they seem to want to give people what they want and take the time to ask questions about how they are feeling about the progression of their styling or cuts.Being either a walk in or from an appointment, I have never really had to wait longer than about 20 minutes from time in which is pretty good I think. The prices as far as I think are pretty decent as well with easy ways to pay and tip which is nice, as I dont need cash as older barbershops tend to deal in.My only real complaint which is more of an observation, is that the young girls tending to the front desk just really dont seem to care all that much and just kind of space out playing on their phones instead of paying attention to what else might be going on. I cant really fault them being an assumed minimum wage reception job without a whole lot of responsibility, but a little personality every now and then goes a long way as they are the first person someone deals with.The rest of the staff being the stylist and barbers are all really nice and friendly and strike up conversations as youre going on and even care enough to remember the last conversation you had when you were in before which is kind of nice being able to form at least a small bond with them.

I get their signature Floyds cut and asked her to keep it longer on top. Today I go to style my hair and its so short theres nothing to style.Point being, request a stylist when you find a good one. Apparently the name sake hair cut isnt common knowledge.
