Jennifer, owner, was excellent counsel for our homeowners insurance when we purchased in Dec-2019. Shortly thereafter, our HOA announced a Special Assessment; Jennifer contacted us to re-affirm that we would be covered here in Colorado on a Claims-made rather than Occurrence basis. Just after the Special Assessment, she called to say that we had been covered, as she indicated we would be. We have reviewed our personal-property coverage every six months; when Jennifer did not know the answer, she said so...and checked: the sign of a true professional. I cannot imagine a more attentive and knowledgeable insurance agent.

I have had the worst experience with Mountain States Insurance Group and I would NOT recommend them. I have had issues with both my car and business insurance policies and I am now having to fight with Jennifer daily to try and get someone to make this right. My account was not properly set up and we are being blamed for it when we were personally never notified about any of it until we tried to cancel and then all of a sudden we actually owed for a business insurance policy that we did not even know we had. We tried to set up a business insurance policy when we got car insurance and I was told that it all went through and was set up. After the first payment was withdrawn I noticed that it was not the full amount and that the business insurance never came out- I immediately reached out to the lady who set it all up. I never heard anything back about it. Once Jennifer took on my account she looked into it and she had some difficulty finding anything on it and then again I never heard anything about it.We have been unsatisfied this whole time with the lack of communication so we canceled our car insurance and then was told that we owe hundreds for this business insurance. Apparently it was being rejected from the bank- again no one reached out not once about it- and of course it was failing to go through because it was not even the right bank account. How do they get the account right for the car insurance but not the business insurance? They are saying that since they notified us about the FAILED PAYMENTS we technically still have to pay it. I have looked everywhere for these FAILED PAYMENT emails and we were never sent anything about it. They can’t even find or provide any proof that these emails were sent... I honestly have no clue what to do other then keep fighting this.Again I would not recommend them to anyone, this has been going on for months and has been a nightmare.
