Horrible. This is the third vehicle that I have had repaired by Mahnke. The first two were great, that last has been a disaster. Mahnke quoted the repair using original replacement parts. Instead, they used some poorly made Ford decal that did not match the originals on the vehicle and the decal they used was torn and looks terrible. Mahnke promised many times to get a new decal, and I kept calling to get status. I finally gave up, they never called back. Guess they just wanted the insurance money and could care less about making the vehicle correct. I gave twostars because the paint job was good.

Jess at Mahnke was a fabulous customer service rep! She checked in with me frequently to let me know the progress on my car repair, and even arranged for my car to be transported to a tire shop to fix a flat tire without charge to me even though it wasnt related to the damage they were repairing for me. They seamlessly handled the insurance company and I didnt have to make a bunch of phone calls like I have during other repairs at other companies. They did fabulous work and a timely manner and even cleaned my car for me before returning it. They even arrange things with the rental car company so that the car was waiting for me when I dropped my car off and I was able to leave the rental car keys with them when I picked up my car. I highly recommend them if you have any auto body work to be done!

Best experience from start to finish! Very friendly front office staff, work was done timely and a rental was provided, mechanics were incredibly honest and friendly. Very impressed and will use them again in the future if needed and recommend them to everyone. Thabjs guys!

After having a very unfortunate event with fresh street paint on my new vehicle, I took it to Mahnke in Frederick for a long list of repairs. I’d like to commend the wonderful customer service team for their continued updates and helpful attitudes and particularly thank the production manager Bryan Romero for his incredible attention to detail, care, effort and exceptional communication. I will go back to Mahnke in the future and highly recommend them for quality work.

I had an incredible experience with Mahnke Auto Body! They worked directly with my insurance company to get extra damage covered that the insurance company originally did not identify and I did not have to be a middle man. Their work on my front bumper, headlight, fog lamp, windshield, and hood was impeccable. I received great communication from their team with updates throughout the process via texts and phone calls and they even finished my car 4 days earlier than their original timeline. Amanda and Brooklyn provided excellent customer service and I would recommend Mahnke to anyone in need of body repairs for an insurance claim.

This shop did a great job on my truck. The problem arose when I was told the Fredrick shop would replace my bed cover. When I got my truck back my rolling bed cover was re-installed wrong and was damaged as a result. I told the manager not to worry about it, I’ll get the bed cover replaced. The manager insisted on fixing my bed cover and I accepted his offer with a handshake. Well, when it came time to get my bed cover fixed a case of amnesia had developed. I’m the sort of person that does what he says he’ll do and if I shake your hand that’s as good as a written contract. The management of this location feel differently. I spoke to the regional manager and the manager of the Fredrick location regarding this and was told that they we’re done making repairs on my vehicle SO if you get any promises from these people, get it in writing. Their word is worthless and a handshake means nothing. Just pay them and go away.UpdateYou guys say you own your mistakes but I’m living proof that you don’t. Your guys reinstalled my bed cover wrong. I noted it when I picked up my truck and that’s when the conversation happened with management. I gave you an out even! I told you guys not to worry about it, I’ll fix it but your manager insisted he would make this right! So here we are! A year later and you know exactly what I’m talking about and my bed cover is STILL DAMAGED. I’m going to keep telling people the truth about your handshake deals and empty promises because your potential customers need to know. Get any promise from Mahnke in Fredrick in writing because their word means nothing.

What a great experience! Mahnke in Frederick fixed the hail damage on my car and made everything easy for me. Mahnke dealt directly with my insurance company, got me an appointment quickly and completed the work when they said they would. My husband has been to the Mahnke in Fort Lupton and had a great experience too.

This is how metallic paint should look after a repair, PERFECTLY matched and no sign that the door was damaged. This business is amazing, friendly, on time, they go out of their way to make everything right. Thank you from the receptionist, all the office ladies to Brooklyn and Steve.

I was very impressed with the work Mahnke did on my car. I bought my car used and it was flat black, my teen borrowed my car and slid in the snow and hit a curb. My husband knowing much more about cars than me said it would be very hard to match the paint, but Mahnke did an outstanding job! It looks amazing. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Due to the wide spread hell damage in the area, it took longer than expected; however, it was well worth the wait. The team did a great job, very responsive and went the extra mile to make sure the consumer was satisfied.The only thing you might want consider is changing the the name of the company. It is rather a hard name to remember, The name leads to some concussion and makes if harder to fined in the directories.Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and they want out of their way to make sure we were satisfied.

They have repaired my truck two times in four years, and always do great work. Th service is great, and the rental car hand off right at the shop is great. You can trust this shop.

What a great body shop!Top notch.

Recently had body work on done here. Most of my experience was positive - the work on my car looks great, everything was smooth with dealing with insurance/car rental, and I was kept well informed during the process. However my word of warning is to ensure that your triple check that anything of value is removed from the vehicle before you drop it off because it something goes missing ( in my case it was JBL Speaker noticed immediately before I even left the parking lot) nothing will be done, not even an apology. In fact you will be treated very dismissively, with a thats impossible and you are making a mistake because all their guys are honest and they run background checks.

We needed some hail damage fixed and this shop was recommended by our insurance company. They did a great job! Our vehicle looks good as new, and they were even finished a full week ahead of their original estimate. It was easy to coordinate insurance payments and rental car details through their staff. We would definitely recommend them to others, and will go back ourselves if anything else is ever needed.

My 2009 Hyundai Sonata looks like new again! Cant speak for the other locations, and I chose Frederick because of the proximity to home.I sideswiped a car in my own driveway, leaving a nasty scrape just above the rear passenger side wheel well. $2000 in damage.My Mahnke rep was Laura. She said she was newer but acted like a pro. Laura handled the insurance company, and let me know of a tiny increase in the total but convinced the insurance company to pay up. It was very nice not having to take care of that (insurance).I have an interlock device in my car, therefore could not rent a vehicle, and the GM (Ben) was kind enough to give me a lift to and from the shop (I had to bring the car in twice; they went out of their way to make sure I had the car over the weekend as I had out-of-town company). The second visit was just wrapping up: a couple hours for some polishing and a nice job of cleaning the interior and exterior (the interior really needed it after winter!). Ben was great - took time out of his busy schedule to do this - and easy to chat with while we were on the road.All told, this was the best body shop Ive done business with and would definitely go back and recommend it to others. Plus, its nice to shop local and support a small business that bends over backwards to take care of you.-Mike

Pleasantly surprised by folks at Mahnke. Very helpful front desk ladies and the quality of work on my SUV was unbelievable. The PDR tech that removed the large vandalism dent is a magician. I highly recommend this shop.

The office staff here was incredibly helpful and remained in contact with me throughout the time of work being done on my van. I very much appreciate that the store manager himself performed a test drive of my vehicle and did a quality check of the work done. It did run beyond the original time frame given, however, this was minor in comparison to the final product that was splendidly done.

I was involved in a minor fender bender. I scheduled my estimate and repair, and couldnt be more pleased. They took care of my rental car, the submission of the other partys insurance, and actually got my car in and out a week prior to when I had scheduled the repair. Outstanding job, and very clean work. My car was vacuumed out and wiped down on the interior, and returned to me much cleaner than when it was taken in. Highly recommend this body shop. There VERY busy for a good reason...quality work.

Mahnke Auto Body was an amazing shop to work with. It seems hard to find an auto body shop with amazing customer service - but with Mahnke, you dont have to worry about that. Everyone who works there is great at communication allowing you to know your car is being taken care of.

I figured an independent shop next to a Lexus dealer would be able to handle my damaged Ducati motorcycle bodywork. I figured right. General Manager Steve introduced himself at pickup time to make sure I was happy with their work. I was. Class act, these guys. Ill be back.

Went in for an estimate on some plastic paint damage. I havent found a comp, but thought the estimate was high. Its a minor repair that Ill use touch up paint on and doesnt need a full repaint based on the minor damage and its location. That said, the staff was friendly and professional. The estimate didnt take long and I received a complete explanation of the work suggested. Recommend this place for bigger jobs or insurance claims.

Typical collision service, I took my car to be worked on but they would fix my dented car because they wouldnt accept a deer running into my car from the passenger side. What makes them typical is I told the truth about the incident and insurance report. The insurance was willing to ok repairs but this service shop lied to me and indicated that the insurance wouldnt ok repairs. Typical collision services will fix anything else but what is needed as indicated by you. Note to self: next time animal versus car try somewhere else for your repairs.

This place is a joke. My car has some minor hail damage after the recent storm that swept through Frederick on Sunday so I went here to get a price quote. The lady I spoke to wouldnt even look at the car, she said that my insurance adjuster has to look at it and do the quote 🙄. Whatever lol. Never in my life have I been to a shop that didnt at least give me a rough estimate. All I wanted was to see how much it would cost because I mightve been able to pay for the repairs out of pocket instead of using my insurance.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car located in Mahnke WILL lie to you, and say that everything is covered. Then slap you with a $500 bill a month or so later. This Enterprise desk is staffed by the Longmont office. Mahnke itself does excellent work. Its to bad they are in a partnership with such a sleazy company. According to the manager, Mahnke has had numerous problems with this, but only in the Fredrick location. He was sincerely apologetic, but in the end, his involvement was ultimately irrelevant.Mahnke = 5 stars, Enterprise = 0 stars.

Very rude staff, very bad job on a simple bumper replacement on my VW GTI. The bumper was put on incorrectly. When I told them about it they were very rude. Never use this place for your own good if you have a nice car that you care about.

The workmanship is great as for repairs. The customer service is not pleasant or helpful, especially as a returning customer. Someone hit my car causing bumper and cosmetic damage. The other drivers insurance company reported it as structural damage to CarFax, thus, depreciating the value of my car that Im now trying to sell. Mahnke confirmed to me that it was not structural damage several times. I contacted CarFax (after Mahnke advised me to), and they said that I had to have the repair company fill out a short form, basically confirming that there is no structural damage. I gave them the paperwork over a month ago, and they said they would get back to me. I have called several times without an answer or resolution, and today they said they will not fill out the paperwork, that they dont do that. They said I need to have CarFax contact them, which will be extremely difficult. I am getting the run around, and they are causing me to jump through more hoops. Its really not that hard to check a couple boxes and sign a paper to help a returning customer resolve mal-reporting to CarFax by a shoddy insurance company. I will be looking for another autobody shop, taking my business and referrals elsewhere, since there are plenty of great ones out there.

Good body shop always a wait for appointment

I absolutely cannot speak highly enough for my experience with the staff at Mahnke! They were so helpful throughout the whole process of my repairs. I had a minor fender bender, but we ended up finding out that a previous repair on my car was done very poorly and had left my car unsafe to drive, unbeknownst to me. After getting in touch with the old insurance company and old shop, they kept going back and fourth and it was looking like they werent going to be very helpful in repairing their old mistakes. Upon picking up my car (for the fender bender), I was under the impression that I was going to have to go get the old repairs done again and have an unsafe car in the meantime, but when I got there to pick up my car, Steve told me that he went ahead and did a full repair of my car, including the old damage. He said that he talked to the old shop and could tell they werent gonna help me out, so he just went ahead and did it for me so I wouldnt be driving an unsafe vehicle. I am so thankful for Steve and the rest of the staff at Mahnke, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good, honest body shop. I will be returning if I ever need anything else done on my car :)

Considerate staff and quality work

I took my car here for repairs. When coming to get my car, they had left my tail lights off, left all of the interior of the trunk disassembled, they had taken my personal belongs out of my center console and glove box (the damage was on the back of my car so this was completely unnecessary) they changed the equalizer settings on my stereo, they changed the display settings on my stereo. I had a rental car while having my car worked on and when i went to pick up my car and return my rental mahnke hadnt informed the rental company that they were done, no one was there to pick up the rental and the people who worked at mahnke had no idea what to do about it. They barley communicated with me or my insurance company and were oblivious to what was happening. Very unprofessional and generally terrible.

Absolutely wonderful shop and staff

Mahnke trashed our paint and then wanted $1100 to repaint to fix damage they caused. In our case, they could have done it from underneath but they cheaped it out and used glue sticks that pulled the paint off.
