PRO: It was very fun, very relaxing when up in the sky/ air, and a lot easier than I anticipated‼️ The (2) boat employees were awesome, helpful and funny‼️CON: Too expensive for the minutes you get in the air!! You are not told how much time you are in the air until you are on the boat.. (6,8, lucky if 10 minutes) for that price you pay is not cool.I would be more disappointed if I was somewhere tropical where I would really enjoy the view but since in LB some views are nice and then you view oil rigs, ships to the port, etc. I guess 6-10 minutes is okay BUT not for the expensive price they charge.
I highly recommend it. David was polite and very helpful with check in. Justin and Mani were professional and make our family experience fun. Boat ride was pleasant and worth it. Take off and landing was smooth.Only my suggestion is I wish they send pic individually per family rather share with whole boat group. Thank you guys for your service and like to do it again with group of friends and family.
So this is my first time parasailing and Long Beach Parasail made for a great experience. Parking is dependent on how busy it is, but not extremely hard to find parking. I was running a bit late due to finding a spot and the representative was understanding and stated we were still making good time. The booth wasnt extremely hard to find. Everyone from the check in process to the harness guy and captain were knowledgeable and helpful. Justin was the captain, I felt very confident with his brief on what was going to happen and that everything would go according to plan in a safe manner. The harness guy, I forgot his name so forgive me for that, is funny and helpful while taking the time to explain what to do and what not to do. He works for tips so if anyone is reading this and chooses to go take some cash with you in case you feel the experience was a good one. They have venmo and other apps for that purpose just in case. Picture taking was a good touch, overall the experience was a fun and safe ride. I highly recommended this company.
The experience was extremely enjoyable! Dont worry about getting wet since you get to choose before flight whether or not you want to be completely dry, dip your toes in the water, or drop in completely (most people will dip their toes). However, I cannot recommend this to those with a fear of heights as the usual ride altitude can vary 200-400ft... We were able to see the top of the Wells Fargo building on our flight!
Such a fun day!! David was super helpful with checking us in and answering all of our questions. Once we got on the boat Justin and Manny made us all feel safe and had a great playlist. My kids were a bit apprehensive but the team really calmed their nerves and after the flight they both wanted to go again. If you are looking for a great family friendly adventure this is it😍
Me & my friend went here a few weeks back had a lovely time. We never done it before & it was the best thing we ever done. David was super helpful. He answered all our questions even recommended a few other local spots to hit up. We will definitely will come back soon & do it again.
It was a great experience. The staff is super friendly and gave great instructions. You basically do the same riding the boat and riding up, sit and stand. The take off and landing were very smooth not scary at all. Its about 10-15 minutes up in the air watching the view. I would truly recommend to try it. Checked off my bucket list.
Just came here with a friend. Easy to find location and quick sign up. David helped us out and made it fast. Definitely coming again.
My friends and I were are on vacation from out of town and had a great experience here. David, Justin, and Manny are funny and nice and will make you want to come back. If you want to go parasailing in California, you should come here! They even gave us great vegan restaurant recommendations!
My roommate booked reservations for my birthday that I was extremely excited for. Of course, we used Long Beach location because of the great reviews. Unfortunately that was not the case for us, they cancelled on us not one time, but THREE times. Since I work a full time job we had to take time off for these reservations that never happened.
My friend and I booked this parasail via Groupon. The check in was quick and super easy. The location was easy to find and the views were beautiful. The staff member David was really nice and welcoming! Definitely book with them :)

This was soooooo fun!!! I could parasail everyday! The staff was friendly and funny and parasailing isnt scary at all...its actually calming (Im afraid of heights and have bad anxiety).My only con is I wish it was longer

It has its ups and downs...Landing in L.B. water, is, uh, well~I thought I was depressed and went for a pair o flight, (pro-lingo), but that splash...up my nose...next time, Ill just jump...But, goes to show, it can always get WORSE! All in all, its functional, I suppose...
My son and grandson had an amazing adventure parasailing off the coast of Long Beach! Their little “shack” (office) was easy to find right outside Shenanigans restaurant/bar and a pleasant young lady was there to greet us and take my credit card. The boat driver (captain) was friendly and we all felt extremely safe. In some of the reviews I’ve read people talked about the photo package, no one answering the phone, shack closed - well none of those things happened to us. I brought my own camera and took my own pictures and that was not a problem at all! There were a total of eight riders and three non riders. The boat was plenty big enough for all of us and everyone had a fabulous time! They played excellent music while people were “flying”. We would definitely recommend parasailing out of Long Beach!!

I was very weary of the bad reviews but decided to come anyway. It was a 78 degree Sunday in December, WHY NOT?! We left the dock 15minutes late thanks to the other party. Dustin (if I remember his name correctly) was great along with the captain. The whole thing was so much fun, im a huge worry wart but wow once youre in the air everything is so peaceful and serene, I literally couldnt think of anything, the view and experience itself is breathtaking. Im going to do it again, cannot wait!

Had to wait forever to finally be able to book our trip due to Covid and fires and so many different factors that were preventing us from doing this experience. Then when we finally did, we were told we didn’t have to worry about taking videos or pictures with our own phones because we got and paid for the photo package. So we didn’t use our phones and low and behold their camera supposedly had some sort of malfunction and now we have no photo memories of our experience and all they want to refund me after spending $570 +40 for the photo package is the $40 for the photo package and the woman I spoke with was rude af with an attitude like I did something to her. You can’t re-create a first experience for kids, two of the four kids are too scared to return, but they want to give me half-off of our “next experience” which will never happen now. Besides this isn’t worth the money anyway once u do it once, def no need to do it again. I don’t recommend this place whatsoever, you definitely DO NOT get what you pay for. You’re literally up for less than six minutes in the air and that cost $95 AND there’s no guarantee you’ll get pix? The guys on the boat were super cool but this isn’t about personalities, it’s about business and the people running the business portion only care about their money and clearly not the satisfaction of their customers.

The ride was fun but we paid an extra $40 for 30+ photos that were supposed to be taken while we were up in the air and instead we only got 2 pictures that were taken at the end in the boat, definitely very disappointing.we gave a good tip too, we will not be returning to this place.👎🏽
Our reservations were at 4 but their boat broke down so we didnt even get to go. I was also thinking that it would be a private parasailing thing with my partner. Turns out theres a few others on the boat with you. At least for the price it could be private. Just happy I got A refund.
Amazing experience! My wife and I loved it. You get a view of the entire Long Beach downtown. The guys were friendly and made the trip memorable.
They usually cancel last minute. Which is so annoying if youre coming from a far place.
First time for everything. I Had a blast!!! The two guys know what theyre doing and made everyone feel at ease. Only downside I have is the ride was VERY short lived
If you want to try parasailing, this is definitely the place! Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. The parasailing itself was amazing, we asked to have our feet in the water and they did a great job! Thanks to all those on the boat to make it a great experience for our family!
Awesome parasail.. no swimming required.. just starts from the boat and lands into the boat.. got an amazing deal on Groupon which made this more than worthy
Do not use this company!! We drove 35 mins, went to check in for parasailing when I happened to notice an email saying our reservation was canceled. No explanation. No one was at the reservation check in. It seemed they just didnt want to show up. We are here from out of state so it wont be possible to reschedule. Horrible company!

We had the worst experience doing parasailing. Therere a company by the name Long beach parasailing. And they just dont care about the customers, they cancell when they want, they just want your money. They cancelled me the same day and I was already at the place. If you found it in groupon I know is cheap but not worth for that bad service and experience. Go and do something else with that money or pay a bit more for a better company. Just the worst.
