Moved to Long Beach in May and was looking for a new nail salon. Tried a few before finding Diamond Nails and I’m so happy I found them! My friend and I love Sidney and Johnny. They’re super friendly and always leave our nails looking fabulous!

Ive been coming here for a few months now, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Ive gotten a couple pedicures, several manicures, and facial waxing done here. Its always been a great experience.Every technician has been very pleasant and professional. I brought my little girl in with me one time, and every visit since they have asked about her. I think thats super sweet, and its just another testament to the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.I do and will continue to recommend Diamond Nail Co. to all of my friends and local family.(Photos from different visits)

I had my third session at Diamond Nail Co. today, and yet again i was far from disappointed! Sidney, who has taken care of me the last two times, steadily continues to out-do herself! not only is her work truly one of a kind, but it’s absolutely obvious that she loves what she does. from friendly and engaging conversations to being tedious and precise, double and triple checking that the work in progress is exactly what the customer likes/wants, Sidney and the Diamond Nail Company have the best customer service I’ve come across, hands down!! whenever i receive compliments on my nails (which is quite often!), i do not hesitate to point them in the direction of this amazing nail salon. the best part of it all, the prices are incredibly reasonable! after i share with my girlfriends the price of a new set, their jaws drop instantly. all in all, i have loved each experience so far and will continue to come to Diamond NailCo. for all of my nail needs! 1000/10!!!

Extremely rude... I travel and like to keep my nails up to par as I do hair shows and a lot of focus is on my nails-hands. I have gone to many of nail techs and spas and this by far was the rudest and most unprofessional experience ever! Nails not even 24 hours later are chipped. also I do not have children, but reading these reviews you clearly lie... ALOT we were rushing cus it took you 15 minutes to painT one nail... that looked horrible and didn’t want you to finish the horrible paint job not to mention the fact your staff used a drimmel on my friends real nail, and needed to be told not to do that by the owner WHICH I HAVE ON VIDEO . I’ve never seen a group of people who constantly switch clients and do not know what there doing, I made everyone uncomfortable? they weren’t uncomfortable when they were ALL trying to open the bottle now were they? I had 2 four oz cups of wine...I MAY NEED HELP BUT YOU NEED LESSONS ON HOW TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE yelling at my friend about her nails, loud enough that one of the guest even had an issue with her and apologized for you because of how rude and obnoxious you were .... your responses to people’s reviews are exactly what someone would expect out of you, unprofessional and ghetto...and LOL that you thought I would be back. I just go to nail spas as it is my job to report back to state board... making sure barbecide is correct proportion clean and regularly changed. Bathroom cleanliness, drimmel heads changed, correct packaging. If you were paying any attention you would have seen I was taking pictures. Since y’all have opened multiple complaints of cleanliness were reported I was planning on giving you a heads up about the multiple reports but I will just let you get shut down instead.

I really wanted to like this place since I loved it before the new owners took over and it was formerly called placid nails before.( also, I live literally a minute away from this salon) New owners made the place look nicer but their quality of work just isn’t there. I been to this place 3 times since the new owner took over and each time my nail service got worse and worse. The tech there also don’t look to experience with nails. (As if they are new to doing nails.) I always get dip powder on my nails and the first time the lady put acrylic underneath the dip.(I’m not sure why she did that), I told her that I wasn’t satisfy with my nails, and she just smiled at me. I don’t think she understood English to well... Second time I came, my nails looked fine when I left but my dip lifted within 1 week. Third time I came, my dip all cracked within a few days and my natural nails all broke . I’m highly disappointed because my natural nails are usually long and strong! I had to go to another local nail salon that I was referred to, to have it fix and they told me it looked like the dip wasn’t applied and done correctly. It’s now been 2 weeks since this other salon did my dip and my nails still look flawless. I hated to write this review as I’m not one to complain, but after going there 3 times and my nails not lasting, i had to write this review to let’s others know before going there! (I also know a few others that came here and said their nails didn’t last either.)

Everyone that works here is super nice and friendly. We have had services with Sydney and John and one other lady whose name I cannot remember. Everyone has just been fabulous! Their prices are about right, and the service is unbeatable! They even did a manicure/pedicure on my 8 year old and were so patient with her being ticklish. This is definitely my new nail spot!! Look for the pretty plants out front!

I scheduled an appointment for me and my two daughters. The lady asked me if I had an appointment when I walked in I told her yes and I told her my name and she was about to do my pedicure. I was holding my 2year son in my lap and the guy came up to me and said we are not a daycare. I informed him that the kids over there are client as well. He stated that because my sons were not client so its a daycare. He said they are touching the nail polish I told him yes because they getting their nails done. I said you know what dont worry about it we will go somewhere else. They will never get my business.

I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted my acrylics to look like. She rushed me to pick out colors and chose the glitter for me. She cut my fingers multiple times and kept applying nail polish remover directly on the cuts. I asked for stilettos, I got almond. The nail polish is STILL not dry and I left the salon over an hour ago. I told a worker that I didn’t like them and they were going to redo them for me but the lady working on my nails said no and that she would not redo them. One of my nails polish smudges when I went to the bathroom 20 minutes after she said they were dry. When I told her it smudged and that I wanted to reschedule to get them fixed tomorrow she said no, that I should have waited longer for them to dry. She literally Made Me get up from the fan to work on another client. I waited after 20 minutes to use the bathroom. She “fixed them” by just applying more nail polish after I already told her that they weren’t dry yet. Someone said that they are not known for doing nail designs. I wanted a simple spiral, but she just put jagged lines on my nail. These look so bad. I can’t believe I have to have these on for at least a month. I’m literally crying. I don’t know where to go to get them redone or if I can even get them redone because I just got them. The women started to get an attitude at me after I said I didn’t like them. I was making sure not to sound rude because I was very nervous. This was the worst nail salon experience I’ve had yet. I do NOT recommend going here if you want anything other than plain colors.

35 yr male, athletic. Got the Deluxe Ice($38). Worth E-V-E-R-Y penny. Dont know the lady(s) name that worked on me, but Ill be coming back. I actually had polish done as well. Pretty huh? Lol!! ...honestly; great place for the money, no doubt.

I started going here a few weeks ago and really enjoy it. The atmosphere is peaceful and that is a major thing I look for in a nail salon.

Today is 2 weeks having dip powder from here. A little over a week in, they started to lift and chip like crazy. I called and they said they could look at them. I couldnt come in right away so I called again today and they basically called me a liar, saying this isnt the place I had my nails done. Then told me 2 weeks is when dip powder needs to be redone, which any other time Ive had dip, it lasts a month or more. Would not recommend coming here.

I book my appointment online with the nail technician that I always go to and received confirmation that I would be booked with her. When I arrived I asked for her and they told me she no longer works there and she moved a long time ago, yet they were going to proceed with my services. Her name should be removed since she is no longer with them.

My nails came out terrible. She didn’t drill enough around the cuticle so my nails lifted the next day. She did not know how to shape so my nails looked wide and uneven. Will not be coming back.

The first time I went here, I had some problems with communication, price, & service. I posted a review with the experience I had and Miss Rose was very sweet and offered to fix the service I was given, adjust the price, and apologized for the miscommunication. Holly fixed my nails, shes very gentle and made them turn out great. I love my nails now & Im thankful she reached out!

Came in for a fill and gel polish and they turned out great! Thank you!

Kim was not very accommodating (to say the least). $27 for 5 coats of cheap gel polish that you can see through. I even had to clean up my fingers with acetone once I got home. This was first time getting my nails done here and it will be the last. Very disappointing, I hope no one else gets jipped like me.

I went here about a year ago and was very dissatisfied. I just tried them again today and will never go back. DO NOT pay for the more expensive pedicure. The salt scrub, “massage”, and hot stones took a total of 7 minutes. Terrible.

Kevin is the bomb. I am typically not a big talker during nail services but you cant help but talk to Kevin -- hes so personable! They always do a great job on my nails here

I recently moved here and found Placid after looking for a place for months. They do amazing work and are extremely friendly. This has become the only shop that we will go to!

Loan did a wonderful job on my nails, very beautiful! Place is super clean and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone and will make this my new nail place!

Best nail salon Ive ever been to

Tried this place 2x and was so dissappointed both times. My polish kept rippling and she didnt drill them down enough. Coffin cut was not even at all. The nails looked a lot worse than had i done them myself and looked like i needed fills before i left.

This place has the most techs available but they are just as busy as the rest of the local salons and the last time my husband and I went for a pedicure, they rushed us out. They did not take their time and we paid for an upgraded pedi.

They did a horrible job on my nails. I will never return to them.
