I found this place through a simple google search, I was in California and I wanted to rent a motorcycle to cruise around. I called Hertz Long Beach and from the get go JIM was super helpful and super nice. He told me everything I needed to know. Then I showed up he had a BEAUTIFUL BMW K1600 ready for me. Did the paperwork for me even accepted to give me a parking spot for my car for the day. He gave us all the equipment we needed like chargers and cables and helmets. He told us where are the best spots and routes to rake to enjoy our one day motorcycle adventure journey. Im suoer pleased by the service I was providing here.

My wife and I rented a R1250RT BMW from Hertz Rides Long Beach. We went up the coast to Gorda Springs, Cambria and Paso Robles a total of about 600+ miles. The bike worked wonderfully and we didnt have any issues. Jim was awesome to deal with from the beginning through the end. My wife had a ton of questions 3 weeks before our trip and he was able address all of her concerns. Jim thoroughly explained the operation of the bike (first time on a full touring bike) and I was able to easily operate it with confidence. Hertz Ride is normally closed on Mondays, but Jim was so accommodating that he even came in on his off day to work with our schedule in order for us to return the bike. I cant say enough about the customer service and how nice of a person Jim is to deal with. Even though Ive only met Jim for the first time, he already seems like an old friend. You wont be disappointed in renting a bike from Hertz Ride Long Beach. Thanks Jim you made our vacation a memorable experience!Pat

I recently rented the F750 GS from Jim at Hertz Ride in Long Beach - and it was an awesome experience! I only had 3 days in California. Having never been there, I wanted the full experience, and that, for me, certainly includes a ride along the coast! :-) Jim provided excellent customer service and went out of his way to make this work for me. He even took me around the neighborhood for a ride, so that I could feel more comfortable riding in an unfamiliar area and on a different bike than what I have at home. Bike worked out great for me, I had so much fun - thanks so much, Jim!

USMC buddy, like a brother since 1997...visiting from Virginia...decided last minute to go on a ride (rented a BMW K1600, absolutely a fabulous motorcycle) ...got the thumbs up from the wife ...spoke to Jim at BMW Long Beach to get an idea how the rental process works...made it to BMW about 1 hr before closing...we were thrilled that you can rent the bikes for a 24 hr period, which we did. Epic 390 mile ride-6hrs on the saddle to Jamala Beach along the PCH to Solvang and back to Long Beach. The bike is beautiful to ride. Jim was awesome in navigating us through the rental process, helmets, RAM mounts etc. Carl gave us a tour of the entire facility...great experience...highly recommended...double up on the insurance. Will definitely be coming back for many more rentals.

Recently rented a K1600B (weekend special) from Jim at HertzRide - Long Beach. Wanted to try the bagger experience. And the B did not disappoint. Lots of extended weekend fun riding the Angeles Crest Hwy & Ortega Hwy. What an awesome bike! Plus outstanding customer service from Jim; very amiable, accommodating & a fellow motorcyclist as well. Bike was in great condition & ready to ride. Easy check in/out. Highly recommend the experience and will definitely return to rent again.

Great experience!  Great service!  Rented a BMW F 750 GS and had a blast.  Great bike, in great condition.As soon as I made the reservation,  got a email confirmation, shortly followed by an actual call to briefly walk through what I was after.  At the time of rental Jim was early, professional and friendly - provided a very thorough walk thru of the bike with some tips on how to get the best out of the bike.Definitely great, quality service all the way around!Repeat customer - early January Same great service!!! I would like to take a few minutes to commend James on a fantastic job. He helped me into a 1250rt for a ride I was taking to Tombstone Arizona while o was waiting for my new bike to come in. After my return consequently I purchased the very same bike he rent it to me. Great job James.

I rented a R1250RT BMW from Hertz Rides in February 2021. Took a 1000 mile ride through Mt. Palomar, Death Valley, and Ojai. The motorcycle was perfect. I am 66 and I had to keep up with two guys 20 years younger than me so I wanted a comfortable bike. Hertz Ride is in the same building as Long Beach BMW. I was allowed to leave my car there which simplified the pickup-drop off process. I wanted to turn in the bike early on a Tuesday and James, the Hertz guy, came in early to meet me so I could drop off the bike and get to work. Renting on-line was easy after some guidance from James at the Long Beach office. Bike was in excellent condition. I am a BMW motorcycle owner/rider and I loved the opportunity to rent a new BMW. Great experience. Price was reasonable. I got the full insurance package.

My friend and I rented two GS 1250s for a day from Hertz Ride Long Beach. The administrative and personal experience exceeded our expectations by a wide margin. Jim, the gentleman who appears to be the only employee, was very friendly and informative. The paperwork was reasonably easy and we were out the door. We decided to turn the bikes back the same day to save ourselves a trip from Orange County, next day. Jim was kind enough to wait for us, although he was already off the clock. We would definitely rent again from this location. As a matter of fact, we are planning a European trip and likely we will use Hertz Ride there. Just hoping the personal touch will be the same; professional and friendly.

Rented a R1250RT as an opportunity to have a longer real-world test ride. Had a great day two up and put on a good number of miles on a tour of SoCals best roads. Jim with Hertz Ride was really helpful with good communication, process of renting and returning was efficient, and it could not have been easier. Convenient location within Long Beach BMW. Would rent again, even for a longer period if I wanted a different bike than what I own for a special trip.

Great experience! Motorcycle was virtually brand new and fully loaded. Jim made the entire process easy and was a pleasure to work with. He returned my calls promptly and answered all my questions. I am also shopping for a new moto and Carl (sales) has been extremely helpful.

I had no idea Hertz Ride had a counter inside Long Beach BMW Motorcycles. I went to Long Beach BMW Motorcycles to test ride a F750gs and noticed one sitting on the lot with a Hertz sticker on it. So instead of test riding, I ended up renting one for a few days. Great service and a lovely new bike. Ill be coming back to try out the R1250gs soon.
