I have two original hanging, pendant lamps for the entryway and stairs of our family home. One lamp is made of obscure glass with brass framing. It is elongated, six-sided, and with brass end pieces, hung from a chain. In its center hangs a brass rod and plate, carrying three white candlelight tubes of varying heights. The other lamp is the same, except that it is half the length. They are both truly elegant and beautiful, except they were extremely old and tarnished. My dilemma was to either replace them with something new and complimentary, or to have them restored. I searched “high and low” for replacements, but couldn’t find anything as esthetically pleasing, nor could I find the same lamps.I decided to have them restored. I was lucky to be referred to Antique Metal Finishinging, from another antique store in Los Alamitos, California. I delivered to them my pendant lamps, with a little fear and apprehension. It took several days, but the very second that I saw my lamps, laying on the counter, like two trophies, sparkling, dazzling, etc! Everything was like brand new! Even the chain and power cord was replaced! I don’t have the word to accurately express what I felt, but I was truly amazed! Owner and family that run the place are a little unusual but very helpful and really know their stuff. The re-plated the hardware from my front door and did a nice job. They did one small piece as a sample that I took home to see how it looked with the door. I would definitely use them again.

Excellent friendly service. My knife set was old and beat up. They were able to fix it and get it looking like new. Highly recommended.

I had some rare quarter horse trophies won by my recently deceased mother. They did a beautiful job restoring to better than they looked new 50 years ago.They are more artist than typical metal refinisher. Absolutely would recommend to anyone.

These guys are pros its a family business. People that know what quality work is come here plain and simple. Theyve been in business for decades because they wont turn out anything less than perfect. With that said just know that good things take time; Connie is a sweet but tough lady (meaning she wont put up with your crap) if you want it done right this is your shop from high end chandeliers to window latch refinishing they do it all.

The proprietress apparently has beef with the guy who does the plating, and she took that out on me. I called to confirm that my job could be done before I drove an hour out of my way, asked to speak to Mark (the plater, a pleasant guy I had spoken to previously), and she asked why I wanted to talk to him, said I should be talking to her instead, and proceeded to hang up on me. I found someone else to do my work.
