Kelly Slater at Ulmer Dermatology is absolutely amazing. I am always pleased with my results after every time I see her. She will make you beautiful and I highly recommend her.

We highly recommend Ulmer Dermatology. They are all very knowledgeable in their field and have years of experience, some have been in this office for over 30 years! You can see right away they all love what they do and they made us feel right at home.We had procedures in the laser surgery center that were performed by Kelly Slater-DeGree, their Nurse Practitioner. She is conscientious and professional. We are so happy with the results and will definitely be back!

Ive known of Dr. Ulmer for over 27 years and Ive seen several different Dermatologist. I realty think hes a perfectionist. He hates bad skin. Lol I know hes passionate in he work. When I can I see him. I get my work done at his stable office. Hes been in the same location for at least as long as I knew of him. We really need better dermatologist just like him. #1 choice.

I wish I could give Ulmer Dermatology 100 stars! - I have struggled with my skin for the entirety of my life. I just started treatments with Dawn, however she has already managed to make my skin look better than ever before! I cannot wait to see the final product! Dawn not only provided me with an easy regime that is manageable, but she educated me and helped me condense my products down (aka she is saving me lots of money). I already feel that my skin is more consistent, I have never felt so confident in my own skin. I also love knowing that when I do have a breakout, Dawn will take me immediately and help me work through it. This was My first visit to a dermatology office. I couldnt be happier in choosing Ulmer Dermatology to treat my acne. I had the pleasure of meeting Dawn. From the moment I was greeted i felt very welcomed and comfortable. Dawn took the time to listen to my daily routine and the environment I work in to better understand my lifestyle and possibly find the cause of my acne. What I loved the most about Dawn was attention to detail and her educating me on exactly what she was doing, and why she was doing it. From the instruments she was using for extraction to the anatomy, this helped me better understand exactly what was happening during my extraction treatment, and made me more aware of what needs to be done to better take care of my skin. Dawn was very polite, sweet and very professional. Highly recommend Ulmer Dermatology to anyone that wants improve their skin care. The physicians and providers as well as the staff here are very professional, understanding, and compassionate.

Iv been to many Long Beach dermatology offices in my 45 years living here. I loved Dr. Smith, who was in the same building, but he sold his practice and retired. I had my first experience yesterday at Ulmer with Dr. Wu, and I can only describe it as worth more than 5 Stars! Hes extremely knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of his medical specialty. Best of all, hes a patient listener to his patients. Im recommending Ulmer to my wife, daughter and all my friends in the area. Very nice office to go to. The staff always make me feel super comfortable even though I hate going to doctors appointments. Dawn helped me get my face back on track after I had a few bad breakouts.

I was treated at Ulmer Dermatology for my basal cell skin cancer on my nose. Instead of surgery I did superficial radiotherapy. Rachel the radiation therapist was very flexible with my appointments. The treatment was so easy, it only took 5 minutes in the office and it’s literally painless. I have no scar! 100% recommend this instead of surgery!

My initial consultation was with Dr Ulmer who was extremely knowledgeable and professional.Dr Ulmer prescribed me his products which are very affordable and results driven. Im very pleased with my skin since visiting him. I also see Marie for skin peels and extractions, Marie is wonderful, so knowledgeable and recommends treatments to help your specific concerns.

This was my first time going to a Dr. for aesthetic enhancements but glad Dr. Wu was able to take care of me after much contemplation & research. I decided to try laser hair removal & resurfx on a longtime scar that really bugs me. My experience was quick as he walked me through everything very thoroughly to make sure I was fully comfortable. Also it was as much pain as accepted for beauty fixes 🤣 Will be coming back for more!

I had a great experience with all of their staff. The front office was really quick and easy to work with re: scheduling even though I had to cancel my 1st appointment due to bad traffic. I met with Dr. James Wu for my keloids and horrible hormonal adult acne breakout. I was really upset with all my skin conditions but walked away feeling a lot better because he was able to treat the major bumps to flatten out immediately with some shot. Ive yet to get on the prescriptions he recommended or go back for laser treatments but heard really good reviews/feedback on their laser treatments for acne scarring from a friend that also went to his office. She does a lot on-camera work and said it helped with the scarring/soften out her skin but need to go through a series for full results.

I have visited Dr Ulmer and staff for 30+ years, very professional, very clean.I will only see Dr Ulmer.

I haven’t had skin this good since before I was a teen! I highly recommend Dr. Ulmer and his team for any dermatology needs.

They gave me faulty products and put my skin in worse condition then before I came. They recommended me 5 products to keep clear skin and bleach cream to help old dark marks be the same color I could have used ambi fade cream but I trusted them and it has made my skin peel for the 3rd time very disappointed don’t go to them unless you are looking to be disappointed and them shrug you off

I do like this obgyn more then the others ive been to and the staff and drs are very nice; but because they are located at a hospital it gets very busy and you could wait up to four hours after your appointment to be seen!
