The people at the shop were very straightforward and professional. Even though my iPad is quite the old, they were willing to find the right parts and repair it (unlike a few other stores I tried first). They got the job done quickly and for a good price, and they even gave me a free home button repair! Would highly recommend to anyone with a broken device.

Broken Gadget is the best. I am leaving to go to MD Anderson this week with my sister and just couldn’t hear on my cell phone except having to put it on speaker phone…. I call and was told no appointments needed, I when straight there and with in a few minutes Justin had my phone working better than it ever has!!! Broken Gadget will always have my business.

I trusted this shop with my MacBook Pro to replace a faulty screen. In the process the device originally was taken to the Ocean Springs store (John or so he said his name was) but after the representative bent the top case and destroyed the motherboard he then took it to Justin at the Long Beach store.Somewhere along the way after almost a month of calling and being evaded I finally retrieve my device to discover the motherboard was fried, the top case was bent because they do not know how to properly take the top case apart on a Mac and the ribbon on my trackpad was completely ripped apart in the process as well. I have contacted Justin who I am told is the person in charge to let him know that I have since had another shop who is competent diagnose the issue, provide documentation and repair my device. I am only asking for the damages done by the broken gadget be taken care of but they have not replied to me nor my attorney who has since sent legal documents. The next step will be justice court unfortunately due to the unprofessional and incompetence of this company and its representatives. I have photos, documentation, professional representation of the damage and details if anyone is interested. They have yet to reply or communicate despite countless failed attempts to contact, leave messages and discuss this matter. The first photos is from the bent top case due to the incompetent repair work and the second is the ripped trackpad ribbon where they broke the cord loose during the process. The third is the proof of receipt where I have since had to invest in additional repairs to fix what the broken gadget destroyed. I have a professional Mac repair professional that I have discovered since that I trust who is located in Mobile who is going to testify and verify to all of these accounts. If the broken gadget does not contact me within the next week I will be forced to take this to court which I will definitely pursue.

Last Monday i brought my phone in to be fixed. The guy was really friendly and was able to tell me that i needed a new battery and a new charger port. They had the battery in stock but would have to order the charger port. He said it would take 2 days for the part to be delivered. He recommended that i go to a different place to get it fixed faster, but that place was further than what i wanted to drive, so i told him id wait the 2 days. He said he would call me to let me know when it came in so i could bring my phone back. 2 days later, no call. I know things happen, so it wasnt a huge deal. The following day, Thursday, i called to check if the part had come in or if there was a delay. The guy who answered had no idea who i was and said there was no charger port delivered on the last delivery. He told me that IF it was ordered it might come in with the next delivery, but never said what day that would be, and that someone would call me when it came in. So, now it is Monday again and i called to see if the part had come in and i was told that it didnt come in on the last delivery and that it might come in at 2 pm today with the delivery. I told the guy id call back around 2:30, but after getting off the phone, him saying that it MIGHT come in on the next delivery just didnt really sit well with me. So i went ahead and looked for other places. I found Ubreakifix. They had both parts and were able to fix my phone in an hour. It cost me $129.00 for the parts and labor. The Broken Gadget was gonna charge me $70.00 for each part plus labor. So, even tho i ended up having to drive further than what i wanted, i got my phone fixed in an hour and at a better price. I am seriously disappointed in The Broken Gadget. One would think that because it is a place that fix things like computers, as well as they have a huge set up connected to a computer when u walk in, that they would at least know how to use one to enter their customers information and what parts were ordered. That way when a customer calls to find out about something that was ordered, no matter who is working that day, they can look it up and be able to give that customer the information they need. But i guess that just isnt how they do things there. The Broken Gadget, communication is key. Yall gotta do better. I will never return nor will i ever recommend The Broken Gadget to anyone.

What a wonderful computer repair shop to have in Long Beach. Justin is an extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant individual to deal with. He diagnosed the issue with my laptop in about ten minutes. His expertise of the latest hardware directed me towards a new SSD. to replace my old hard drive at a reasonable price. Many thanks for trying to retrieve my old data and the installation of Windows 10 and other software that I required. I would highly recommend The Broken Gadget for your computer repairs.

Justin saved my bacon. Puff of smoke and odor from my MacBook Pro...figured my machine was absolutely ruined without a thousand-dollar fix or taking it into New Orleans Apple Store. Took it to the shop and a week later I was back up and running like nothing happened and at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

Took my phone before Thanksgiving of 2019 to have battery replaced. The charge port or something got broken during the process. Went to check on it a number of times and always just took my number and said would call and let me know. Guess Im out $60 and the device at this point.

Awesome service! Went there for a broken screen on my IPhone, they had one in stock. Less than 100 bucks and an hour later my phone was like new! Highly recommend!
