Have not bought anything and glad I didnt. As the other gentlemen mentioned. You can call leave multible messages and they wont return your call. I guess they dont need any business. Obviously customer service isnt important to them..Id give them no stars if I could
I called three times, left name and number, but nobody ever called me back. Going elsewhere
This company I have called to make a very wide range of multiple types of headliners for 5yrs now. I have not had any issues with the quality of work that is produced here. Every single one of them has fit like a glove and the windlace has been of great quality along with plenty to spare! The sales staff and shop foreman(talked to him many times, very insightful and helpful, I am bad with names) A big thank you to him and the lady that takes the orders. I will continue to do business with this company until I retire! A big thank you to all at Acme Headlining Co. for a great product and fast and friendly service!
Acme has been to headlining company I go to ever since I became a trimmer in 1975. My father in law Larry Hall did business with them from about 1950. Never ever has this company let me down.
I really hope more people leave good reviews with this company. Lately companies have started selling poor products and purposely do not have any contact information, this company is the complete opposite. I had a problem with the headliner i ordered from acme, a simple email to them explaining my issue resulted in them sending me a replacement at no cost. i wish more companies operated the way this company did. i wouldnt hesitate to buy from acme, if you run into a problem with something, they will take care of you.
Ordered material overnite, material was wrong, Had to reorder again, except this time it wasn’t ordernited as ordered, which meant I had reorder again, I was upset as car needed to head to a show.A Gentlemen called me and said they would even stitch the headliner for my trouble, I said no but thank you, the 3 rd time material was correct, but then the 2nd order Finally arrived, then I had to send back 1 st order which was wrong, 2nd order which was a week late, and now the women in the office haven’t credited me back, won’t let me talk to the Gentlemen on the third order, nor will the woman at Extension 210 call me back,,,,, Doesn’t look like good business that’s been in business for so long, I’m sure the founders wouldn’t of done this or they wouldn’t have been in business for so long.
Could not have been more unhelpful. You know they have information but are unwilling to share it.
I Ordered a top for a 1995 Mazda Miata from Rockauto. I had things come up (Heart issue)and it took a while to open this top. Just to say this is the lowest quality top I have seen. There are no holes for the rivets there is no lower sail reinforcement. There is only one of the three rails used for attachment and they give Velcro to attach these straps. With only one rail attachment I can see this thing blowing up like a balloon and the straps are to keep it from falling in once the car comes to a stop. Straps are normally used on tops with glass but I guess they know with the low number of rail attachments the stretching of the material must be an issue. Plus self sticking Velcro tape for a top, I live in Phoenix like that is going to hold up. I called the company and they refereed me back to Rockauto. Rockauto is part to blame the description doesnt say anything about the need to modify to make it fit. For a few dollars more there are better tops out there.
I ordered an Acme headliner for my 1990 Chevy Silvrado. It was a monster to install because the front holes for the sunvisors did not match up. I fixed that problem, but the rear of the headliner had to move forward. When I installed the Velcro for the front end, it came loose in 2 days and I had to use an epoxy to get it to stich to the roof. I thought I was done, but the head liner wanted to still fall. I had to put a shelf across the front of the headliner to keep it in place. After only 7 months, the Acme installed fabric started to fall. After contacting the seller and Acme, they told me to take a hike. When I originally did the install, it was in October, the hot weather started and thats when the fabric to sag. When I called Acme, they wouldnt talk to me and told me to speak with the seller (1aAuto Parts), and I got the runaround from them. So now Im stuck with a product from both the manufacturer and seller with disreputable respect for thier own product(s) by not making things right.OK, bottom line is, dont buy ANY product from this manufacturer because you will probably be stuck with an inferior item that will not work or hold up. Actually, one star is too much of a rating; they DESERVE no stars for thier disregard of thier products and the way they treat customers. I only hope whicever ptoduct you want from them, you heed my words of wisdom and stay away or order parts from other manufacturers.
Bought one of their ABS & cloth headliners. Color was way off of what I ordered. Fit terrible. Required trimming at the rear mounting points. Dome light cutout was too small. Visor and clip cutouts were too big and showed, but by that time I couldnt return it because I had already trimmed the rear to try to get it to fit. Seriously how hard can it be to trace out a factory board and duplicate it??? Ended up junking it and getting a factory one recovered somewhere else. Big waste of money.
Checked out their website to see what products they have that are similar to what they had 30 years ago when I did business with them.
This company has been the go to place for years. They have many items other manufacturers dont make AND you can bet theyll probably have materials that other suppliers cant get there hands on any longer. I will continue doing business with them for years to come.
Lunch special was great and very reasonable.
Glue on my headliner already letting go after 6 months Its sagging... no pride in there work, and typical Aftermarket garbage.
Looks like they have a large selection of products.
Good quality material
Lousy headliner fitment, trashed it because needed trimming on rear and still not fitting.
Will someone at Acme add business hours of operation?
My work where I am very happy
