Never showed up for estimate or offered courtesy call. Unprofessional response to text when we expressed our disappointment.

We had a carpet replaced in our Master Suite through Lowe’s, who subcontracted East Coast flooring. They were on time for measuring and very professional. When we went back to Lowe’s and selected the carpet East Coast called us immediately and setup a time for 2 days later since the carpet was in stock. The installers showed up on time, were very professional, they both wore masks (Covid pandemic), and did a high quality job. They even moved a piece of furniture back into the room for us. Highly recommend!

I have read the other reviews and had a similar experience. This is the sole contractor for carpet installs at Lowes. Your stuck with them.I made an appointment for a Monday 1-5PM window. They confirmed with me in the morning, I stayed home from work and then Joe cancelled on me at 145pm, rescheduled for Wednesday 1-5PM. He never showed, I texted him and he said it wasnt on his schedule, and emphatically stating it was for Thursday 1-5PM. He didnt remember he responded in text to me for Wednesday. Thursday arrives, I take off work, and Joe is a no-show again for 1-5PM. I call Lowes and cancel. Then Joe calls me arguing with me about it (and again denying Wednesday appointment, for which I have his written confirmation). Then he says no big deal and hangs up.Maybe this company believes its too big and customer service doesnt matter; I predict it will fail. Run from this company--and I guess Lowes flooring.

Before you start any project through a store ask for the contractor they use, if it happens to be East coast you better walk away or brace yourself. After my measure was done I asked the person in flooring how long would it take between the time I decided to go forward and have the tile installation completed. He assured me that about two weeks and I found that reasonable. But heres where things got interesting, when I signed the contract they said I had three (3) days to cancel the order completely and that the installer would have to contact me with an installation date within two (2) business days.Day two landed on a Friday and I decided to call and basically hold them to the fire on their deadline. Of course the store doesnt know anything else after you give them money so I spoke to an representative from East coast flooring. The lady told me that they still had until Tuesday to call me since it had only been 21 hours. I was shocked to hear this and grabbed my contract to see that it had actually been two full days already. Then, and only then she said something along the lines of well, your order was cancelled and then put back in order again, so your account is all set now and we just started to count down after a day and a half had gone by (so conveniently ). Furthermore, it happened to be labor day weekend and they supposedly had until Tuesday now to contact me.I assertively said, if I dont get a call and an installation date from the installer today I will cancel the account. So she tried to call them herself and she didnt get a response. The next morning august 31 I received a text from them saying that I was all set for October 28th.Then it all made sense. They knew very well that the available dates they had were ridiculous and nobody in their right mind would want to stick to the contract if the installer is making them wait two months after payment was issued. So they wanted to pull a fast one by making me run into day three in my contract and forcing me to stick with them. Also they apparently need 5 days to install tiles in one 14X20 living room.I went in the store and got the order cancelled and dont plan to ever use this company.

I wouldnt recommend East coast flooring to anyone. We hired them to install carpet in 2 bedrooms. The first guy who was supposed to come out to measure wouldnt call us back then cancelled the appointment. He wouldnt reschedule for a week when it was guaranteed in 48 hours. The second guy who came out to measure did it wrong and at the time of install our carpet was over 5 feet short for one of the bedrooms. The refused to expedite the new carpet and wouldnt install the new carpet as soon as it came it, we had to wait another 4 days. Very unprofessional!

East Coast Flooring working as a sub-contractor for Lowes in New Hampshire does awful work and does not want to fix their mistakes. I have now chased them for 5 months with no resolution. The vinyl flooring is bubbling up and has nail pops all over. It was never properly rolled during installation. East Coast Flooring doesnt care, they continued to get paid by Lowes. Lowes doesnt care because they have done what we can. Stay away from Both of these companies. I would give them NO Stars if I could. Be forewarned

Subcontracted them through Lowes install for carpet. Their installer scratched a very expensive dresser. They blew me off for weeks then finally sent their installer to my house who didnt even work ECF. Installer denied it was him could maybe be him. Over a month later aRon Florrman (General Manager and SCHMUCK of the year) called me and tried to say that the dresser had been moved once a year ago so it could have been scratched by me....WRONG. I am still chasing them down for their liability insurance which I finally got today. What a nightmare, hire someone else and RUN FROM THIS COMPANY.
