I went too Tires Too the first time in 2015 to get the car rustproofed, a two hour drive from home. I still take it there, even though there are now closer shops using Corrosion Free 3000. Russ, the owner, takes pride in having a shop that relies on repeat business

Brought my car in recently to have some work done on the exhaust and was told it would be about an hour or so before they could look at it. Tires Too provided me a loaner car so I didn’t have to wait around and within a couple of hours I received a thorough rundown (including photos) of the issue as well as a list of other potential repairs. I spoke to Russ about the work that had to be done and he did a great job explaining what needed to be addressed now and what could wait. They managed to take care of the repairs that day and for a very fair price. I was more than impressed with the level of service, the quality of work and the time it took to complete. I live in Portland,Maine. I travel to Tires Too to get my Tacoma rust proofed via a process called “Corrosion Free”. They do an excellent job. It’s guaranteed for 18 months and the cost is fair. The staff is very friendly. If I can travel from Maine to have work done you definitely should be getting your work done if you are local.

Russ and his staff are always courteous. My wife and I have been using Russ for over 15 years. My 15 year old Hyundai Azera has over 200,000 miles mostly thanks to a lot of distance driving when it was new and the service of Tires Too!

Went there to have general maintenance as the car just turned 100k miles, and just wanted it looked at. They are very professional and fair and dont recommend work to be done that is not needed. They even didnt do something that I thought needed to be done, they just said it didnt need to be done. Very pleased and will be returning.

Great service. They kept my vehicle inside during the snow storm and even allowed me to drop it off a couple days early to avoid driving in the snow. They gave me a straight forward assessment of what needed to be done. They got it done quickly and for a reasonable price. They even send pictures and a detailed description of issues they find. I was actually able to see the play in my wheel bearing without having to go under the truck. I would recommend this business and I will be using them again for future work.

Tires too has never let me down, I started using them a couple years ago when my mom was stranded in the Hannafords parking lot with my then 4 month old son in the middle of summer, I quickly got to her and had to get a tow and the tow company suggested tires too. When I called tires too that day, they were willing to do whatever they could to get the car to them as quickly and painless as possible. I am so grateful for that day, Russ and jake have been so helpful over the years when we needed car repairs. They are honest and knowledgeable and really try to work with you and will not pressure you at all. Some shops are so money hungry, but they really give you the best knowledge and advice and truly do great work! Highly recommend tires too for any service needs!!

We drove 2 1/2 hours from Maine to have Corrosion-Free applied, something that I have been having done now for 10 years on my two vehicles. I have had it done at 4 different places, and I have to say that Tire Too has been the best. No over-spray! The entire process was done professionally and quicker than I have had it done before. I will be back, and will also use them for my wrenching as well. It pays to do research and look at customer feedback. They have a 4.9 for a reason.

I have been using these guys for years and they are the best I found in the area. They are knowledgeable, honest, and do work at a fair price. They identify what needs to be done and what it will cost but do not push services if you choose to do the work on your own (which I do sometimes for simple repairs that I can do myself). Too expensive. Reached out to Tires Too for a 2 wheel alignment. The man told me that it would be $124.00 for the alignment. Called around other nearby shops and found it to be much cheaper at Sullivan Tire for under $80.00.

I have been bringing my vehicles to Russ at Tires Too for over 20 years. Russ is honest, fair and professional. When I brought my truck in thinking I needed a new battery, Russ could have put in a new battery, but instead told me I only needed my battery charged. Another time my brakes failed. Instead of replacing all my brake lines, Russ repaired only the section that was leaking. On both occasions Russ could have taken advantage of the situation and I wouldnt have known the difference. Tires Too did a great job diagnosing the vibration problem with my truck. They also provided pics and videos of other potential issues that required service. They did a great job repairing my truck and it drives like new.

The guys laid out and quoted different options, brought us out back to show us what needed work and why, and were able to get the jobs done in a reasonable amount of time. I called to schedule an appointment for my car to get 1 tire put on a wheel. Also, to get 4 wheels put on my car, and balanced. This is an easy job. They not only took the whole day for this job, they had me leave and come back, due to not having the proper tools. They put the rear wheels on the front of the car and told me the wheels dont fit. They also scratched my 4 thousand dollar wheels by trying to force the front on the rear and vise versa. They came to the waiting area and got me saying the wheels do not fit the car. They took me out back to show me....I honestly thought it was a joke when I saw the front wheels mounted to the rear of the car!! Mind you, you can clearly tell the difference in size between the rear and front wheels. After everything was said and done my wheels vibrate at only 65 mph which means they where not balanced properly. To make matters worse, they NEVER swapped my tpms sensors from the old wheels so now I have a tire pressure problem and a light going off and on my dash. Worse experience Ive ever had. Although, the only positive side to this was a young man named Tony. He was great to work with. But, now I still have to take my car elsewhere to fix the issues. For anyone looking for tire work this is NOT the place to go! Id rather go to a dealership and that says a lot.
