My husband has his uniforms tailored here regularly and they always come out perfectly. I recently had my wedding dress altered and it was exactly like I imagined. The owners turnaround time is very quick, and her prices are fair. I am thankful to have this place in town!

Bad experience! Owner reneged on the initial quote! She breached our agreement!! Be careful dealing with this business, the owner is unscrupulous and dishonest, and tries to blame her employees for her bait and switch scams. She messed up the sewing the first time on purpose and tried to blame me for it, then messed it up the second time blaming it it on my legs being uneven! She also tried to hide my receipt by dropping it behind the counter and pretending it was lost when I picked up my order, so she could charge extra for my alteration. The workmanship on a simple hem job on a pair of pants was horrible, see attached photo. Then she wanted to charge extra to press it! Buyer beware of her breach of contract scams. There are other reputable alteration shops in Lompoc. My mistake was not reading the reviews first for Robinsons Dry Cleaner and Alterations. Stay away!

Mrs. Robinson cleaned a precious family heirloom blanket for its first time. Its beautiful.

I bought a leather jacket online and it had to be brought in on the sides and the sleeves. After calling quite a few places in town that wouldn’t work on leather I came across the number for Robinson’s. They not only agreed to alter my leather jacket for a reasonable price but they managed to get it done within 24 hours and were extremely friendly. Other places had told me they could send it in to get done but it would be expensive and a long wait. The quantity they provided for the stitching was better than I expected on leather and the jacket fits amazing now.

Horrible! My brand new rug was shredded for whatever reason. I was told I wouldnt be charged for it, which I wasnt. But, I feel as if my rug should be replaced. When I took it in they said it was dry clean-able. Apparently not. Horrible customer service. Very rude and not good with communication. I will not be returning or recommending, EVER

Robinsons cleaners saved the day!Not only did they have a vest my son needed for a wedding...it was also a last minute must buy frantic search on sunday in which they were closed. I was going crazy!But one phone call to Robinsons cleaners in Lompoc resulted in her granddaughter meeting me to open the store and save my life! She was the best! Boss lady was out of town on her way back to her own surprise birthday party!!! Thanks so much guys!!! You are the greatest!! Happy birthday Sue....hope you all had fun!!

A lack of time to completely prepare for my wedding meant discovering my suit shrunk since I purchased it last fall. I was thrilled to walk into Robinsons (a staple in Lompoc for over thirty years) and be told Yes, well do that. when I asked if it could be altered within three days. Where I live now (in Seattle) such a request would elicit laughter and ridicule.Sue was direct, transparent, and her experience showed as we discussed how to make my suit fit for my big day. I would absolutely recommend Robinsons as a business that knows what its doing.

Not open on Sundays

I have know idea how they are with dry cleaning, but took in a pair of pants to be hemmed. What a debacle .... went back 4 times until they had them right and the quality was not great. Counter help is inept. Dreadful, dreadful.
